This paper shows the current existence of a limited conception of Mechatronics. Usually refers to it as a simple combination of disciplines. This notion it is explained by the historical and evolutionary factors. In Mexico and even in the world is necessary to emphasize the benefits of innovation that would bring the proper use of the synergies of technologies and disciplines involved in Mechatronics. The ideal setting for growing synergies is the solution of the social needs presented in engineering projects.

In this work we show that the effect of consuming Feijoa reduces the glucose levels in blood on wistar rats. For the experimental part, we prepare these rats constrain them to consume sugar in liquid solution. Normally, the glucose level in blood for these rats is around 85 ± 5 mg/dL. After consuming this liquid solution during three weeks their glucose level raised to 150 mg/dL. Later, for other three weeks they were constrained to consume feijoa juice. Every week of consuming this juice we control the glucose level in blood finding it was reducing to 80 mg/dL for the third week, and even less, to 65 ± 4 mg/dL. These results show that drinking feijoa juice helps to reduce the glucose level in blood.

A study was conducted with the purpose of making a characterization of yards (PATY OTYOTY) in the community of Amado Nervo, located in the municipality of Yajalon, Chiapas, which contemplated an inventory of the medicial plants found there, as well as their use and management. The study offers a general description of the natural resources that the PATYOTYOTY (backyards) have and the medicinal plants were described in greater detail. Information was gathered using a semistructured interviewing technique, direct observation and a field log. The size of the sample was calculated by simple random sampling ( Zar, 1999) in 39 yards. The results indicated that in the community of Amado Nervo there are 1391 inhabitants and 277 families, including seven midwives which are registered with the IMSS clinic. The inventory indicates that the plants are for use by the families, and there is no commercialization of the plants. The most common plants are: basil, wormwood, garlic, marigold, chanita, peppermint, fennel, purple maguey, chaya, licorice, arnica, yaxbak, oregano, pennyroyal, rue, grass tea, aloe and parsley. It was found that 26% of the Paty Otyoty there were no medicinal plants while in 61% organic fertilizer was applied for the plants production. It was concluded that the use of homeopathic medicines such as medicinal plants are used frequently to treat ailments, and that 39% of the inhabitants used them as an alternative due to the lack of economic resources.

This research provides an analysis on optical fiber sensors and their ap-plication in the environment, taking into account the quality of water, soil and air them which are areas with a greater interest in the field of study, because they are part of environment in which life develops. A body of water, air or soil with high contents of pollutants are places unfit for the life and development of the species. When it comes to measur-ing one or more physical parameters of the water or air, or to detect and quantify a substance, it is necessary to use some kind of sensor to pro-vide us with reliable data in order to implement solutions to mitigate the risks that exist. Sensor types most commonly used for this purpose are mechanical, electrochemical, and, for some parameters already in place, are optical sensors. In the society in which we live, it is becoming more necessary to develop analytical small devices that are inexpen-sive, portable, reliable, selective, easy to use and require few microliters of sample to determine a particular parameter.

In places where it is not a need to read and write, it is necesary to help children to accomplished the task to learn. Every group is different so there is a need to know the children ́s previous knowledge, the par-ents expectations about education, the community culture and lan-guage. This work is adressed to explain the process of adquisition of writing and reading within a group of children belonging to a iliterate community in the Lacandon Jungle. All this practice was stablished in the base of drawing as a tool to start the traces of writing and for mo-tivation and understanding the reading. We consider that drawing is the way children can express emotions, fantasies and their world be-fore they are able to use the signs of letters. On the other hand it exist in Chiapas a long tradition for drawing as a way of communication.

Tsotsil rock has been almost more than one decade of presence in the Chiapas musical scene; groups such as Sak tzevul, Vayijel, Lumaltok, among others, realize in his language native to the realities perceived in various fields. However, there have been adjectives from different areas such as “indigenous rock”, “ethnic rock”, “etnorock”, to qualify and ste-reotype an occidentalista about creating shapes made from a culture in particular perspective that has empowered its identity, language, and worldview through this musical genere.

The document argues that aquaculture production systems in the world are part of the economic and social development of fishing communities involved in the exploitation of this resource, meaning a major source and secured in food production in the coming years, resulting in direct employment generation and poverty reduction, however, beyond these contributions produce negative environmen-tal impacts should be studied to identify and establish mitigation proposals that meet the environmental laws and regulations in order to ensure sustainability, in this context the demand for institutional participation activity and various interest groups, but especially the obligation of farmers to responsibly assume these commitments and include environmental management in production processes.

The holoversidad is a model for university level education, it seeks the new meaning of perception, knowledge and social practices. The holoverso is the joint of multiverse, ie. all possible real universes, parallel, imaginary, present and to come, which proceeded from the curricula and training deployment; the anthroposphere and the biosphere. Open systems are enriched with the concept of feedback, which refers to the processes by which corrects the path to achieve certain objectives. And that correction systems to achieve their goals, is done by self-adaptation or self-regulation of their behavior, or restructuring phenomena of each system. The substantive functions of the university are in multiple actions; holoversidad, is an educational project, expressed the most relevant categories (holons) deployment in communities ecosóficas (generalized interaction) and holistic (relational hierarchies) which allows to display projects teaching in an informative and educational.
