Resumen
This paper aims to reclaim the children’s literature production of the Ukrainian writer Vsévolod Garshin (1855-1888) and assess its possible anticipation of the genre known as anti-fables, new fables or refables. Garshin is a Russian literary author widely recognized in Europe, but little known in Spain. The first part of this paper presents some data on his life and work, later focusing on his stories for children. Subsequently, this presentation defines the concept of anti-fable and the consolidation of this genre in the Hispanic sphere. The last sections analyze Garshin’s most famous story, The Traveling Frog, to show how it fits into the fabulist tradition and whether it includes one or more of the features that characterize anti-fables. Garshin’s innovations are contrasted with those recognized in Ambrose Bierce’s postmodern fable for adults. The conclusion is that Garshin was ahead of the current concept of children’s literature and the anti-fable genre.

Resumen
The metrics of the book and ofreading have been focused preferably on scientific articles and other similar documents. Only recently have books been incorporated into these analyzes. But when they have, attention has turned to scientific monographs. The publishing industry in general, and commercial literature in particular, have not been the object of a similar analytical treatment, with what this represents for a sector that, due to its size and cultural economic importance, should be integrated into this type of study. The appearance of social networks and alternative metrics can also provide a series of additional data that is especially useful for a literature that contains a strong social and emotional component, and whose reception triggers a strong dynamic of exchanges. This article studies the application of an analysis methodology in which the citation studies in WOS and Scopus are combined with the altmetric information, applying it to a work that now celebrates the 25th anniversary since its publication, the Harry Potter saga, whose cultural, social and media importance has made it a canonical bestseller. The correspondence between citations, author’s reputation, and interventions in the networks are analyzed to determine the existing link between visibility and impact of a work, pointing out the possibility of extrapolating the methodology to other cultural studies.

Resumen
Correpalabras is a child’s readingapplication that includes a library of short stories. It is characterized by combining still images with moving texts, whose speed can be regulated by each user according to their reading ability. This article evaluates the influence of this format on reading attention and analyzes the relationships between text and images in the library stories. The methodology includes observations of individual reading experiences in the second grade of primary school and a classification of the functions that illustrations fulfill in published stories. The results show that the format generates a high level of reading attention, focused mainly on moving text. In the library stories, the illustrations fulfill a complementary, descriptive and narrative function. The main conclusion is that Correpalabras is a digital innovation that preserves and enhances some important qualities of the analog tradition of printed stories.

Resumen
This study covers some milestonesin Spanish literature (El Cid, El Lazarillo de Tormes, Cervantes, Lope de Vega and Bécquer) based on the TV series The ministry of time (2015). Through a theoretical methodology based on hermeneutics or interpretation, a literary project will be designed aimed at the students of the subject “Keys of Castilian Literature in the Classroom” of the Master’s Degree in Teacher Training (UNED). For this, Ricoeur’s theoretical ideas on the “hermeneutical function of distancing” will be contributed: literary criticism is exercised on authors who, in general, are dead, who no longer have a voice. In the framework of transmedia narrative, this principle constitutes the basis for literary interpretation and re-readings. After a tour of different episodes of the series, the study concludes that The Ministry of Time allows us to delve into the literary sources that motivated the recreation of characters (The Cid, Lazarillo of Tormes or Don Quixote) from biographical, historical and literary references.

Resumen
This article is presented as a readingand translation proposal for the pascolian poem the Digitale Purpurea, based on love motifs used in Latin literature. After a brief digression on current positions and interpretations in this regard, the importance of the Greco-Roman referents will be discussed. The topic of love towards the classics, which serves here as a hermeneutical key in order to access the text, will be developed through the analysis of elements such as honey, the flame of love, flowers, dreams and the locus amoenus. Giovanni Pascoli’s “Primi Poemetti” have not been translated into Spanish yet: therefore, this work could be conceived as a small preview of what will be, later, the complete translation of the work. The objective of the translation is to achieve a certain equivalence, at least in the main and immediate aspects, between the source text and the target text, respecting norms, registers, and styles of both languages.

Resumen
This study considers literary reading as a cultural practice, produced in an interactive process between reader and text, and between other readers and ones ‘self, with the objective of amplifying the limits of knowledge, comprehension, and coexistence. From this perspective, the objective of the research is to analyze the practices of pedagogic intervention, having reading strategies in mind, according to Solé (1998), and the ways that they have repercussions in the reading comprehension process of children. In this way, active research, with a qualitative and descriptive focus, is carried out in a second stage children’s education class, with students between the ages of five and six, from a school within the municipal network of Minas Gerais, Brazil. This is supported by the studies of Cosson (2006); Goulart (2012) and Martins (2010), in dialogue with authors that approach the subject. The results of the study reveal that the mediation of the educators and the development of didactic-pedagogic strategies are fundamental in the path of children’s reading acquisition and comprehension, contributing to the process of reader formation.

Resumen
Classical mythology functions as a highly renewable cultural energy of great efficiency when measuring the historical subject in its time and space. In the work of Aurora Luque, set in a deep dialogue between tradition and contemporaneity, the use of mythology is intensified until becoming the measurement of her poetic world. This aesthetic development of mythology is analyzed in her work, Camaradas de Ícaro, which includes contemporary locus amoenus and lexicons drawn from the fields of politics, technology or advertising. This paper examines subversions and updates of classic mythemes associated with the mythical narration, and the renovation and updating of classic symbols associated with eroticism. With the analysis of all these aspects, this research verifies how, through rewritings and reinterpretations of mythology, Luque finds an original poetic proposal, as well as an ascetic path that accounts for both the modern world and the time in which it is circumscribed.

Resumen
One of the most consistent criticismsof digital processes is focused on thehigh instability of some databases, which can produce digital oblivion and subsequent lack of “culture of memories” (Manfred Osten, 2008), damaging the culturalarchive (Groys, 2005). Other problems can arise from technical obsolescence and the possible disappearance of digital profiles, both real and imaginary, or ruled by avatars (Escandell, 2014), or by literary bots. This loss implies the illegibility of some literary online projects, because with their extinction both the text and the background programming also vanish (Morales Sánchez, 2018). In order to face these problems, linked to textual criticism, this text propose that literary researchers must replicate the cultural archive, creating their own copies, which lead us to another question: the occasional impossibility to confront the original files with the saved ones.

Resumen
Though textbooks are the most used tool in the language classroom, there is little research regarding textbooks of Portuguese as a foreign language, particularly regarding writing skills. Following research trends, the initial exploratory study started with methodology (descriptive and content analysis). It continued with a content analysis of the author and coordinator introductions to the texts. Finally, results are presented to try to understand how elementary level Portuguese as a foreign language textbooks promote teaching writing to young adults. Writing activities from six books (A1 and A2 competence level) have been classified and analyzed. Results show that writing competence is undervalued and framed in behavioral and audio-oral methodologies. This shows there is a certain resistance to adapting them to current theoretical and methodological frames of teaching and learning a foreign language.
