An investigation was conducted to determine the degree of correlation between linguistic identity and linguistic attitudes of students at the National University of Altiplano of Puno, Peru. The method used was the Likert scale, which allowed the collection of opinions of Academic Semester 2018 - II bilingual university students from the professional schools of sociology, anthropology, tourism, social communication sciences and art. The Pearson's correlation coefficient was 0.551, and the p-value (0.000) was less than the significance level (0.05). The results show that there is a moderate positive correlation between linguistic identity and linguistic attitudes of the students. 50% of students admit that they always demonstrate linguistic identity, and most students agree that they have a positive attitude toward their native language. It is concluded that there is a moderate positive correlation between linguistic identity and linguistic attitudes of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the  National University of Altiplano, Puno, at a level of 95% confidence in statistical terms.

This article addresses the migratory process that the Mexican person experiences when deported from the United States of America to the northern border state of Chihuahua, Mexico. Therefore, it seeks to make visible deficiencies of the Mexican public administration in the deportation-reintegration process. In this regard, we sought to obtain information on the operation of the SomosMexicanos Program, a Mexican immigration policy conducted by the National Institute of Migration. However, to achieve a more comprehensive understanding, an approach was made with people in the context of international migration Mexico-United States and return United States-Mexico, adding the contributions of public servants in charge of providing migrants with services available via Mexican institutions and agencies. This was in addition to including a brief description of the practices of the American immigration ombudsman. From what has been learned, there is a state of helplessness among migrants and a lack of protection by the Mexican authorities, who are unable to guarantee their compatriots a reintegration process in a country with opportunities for development and security.

Residential emancipation is a phenomenon that continues to generate great academic, political and social interest. Beyond the clear effect that the economic crisis, started in 2008, had on this process in Spain, delaying residential emancipation by young people, the reality for this group today remains problematic. Conditions that adversely affect the transition to residential independence continue to exist, and this has been verified in numerous quantitative sociological investigations. Based on discussion groups with emancipated and non-emancipated individuals held in 2014 in different cities, this article uses a qualitative approach to analyze the phenomenon of residential emancipation in Spain. This analysis of young people’s perceptions, valuations and interpretations of the contexts in which they are immersed verify the factors that affect the delay in residential emancipation, especially with regard to the labor market and housing.

At the base of entrepreneurship lies the challenge that individuals with entrepreneurial skills (entrepreneurs) must accept at the outset in an increasingly dynamic environment dominated by uncertainty. Innovation and the innovative process have to be constant in entrepreneurial actions. Building on this hypothesis, one cannot ignore the essentiality of the entrepreneur’s adaptability to market requirements and demands. The assumption of risks and uncertainty evidently generates a motivation at an individual level in entrepreneur-actors. Action in a dynamic environment leads to the urgent necessity of adopting new technologies in business. From the perspective of implementing and using innovation, this study uses quantitative methods to illustrate the challenges related to innovation in the business environment. Our sample comprises 25 national states, selected according to their rank on the Global Entrepreneurship Index. Taking as a starting point the influence exerted by innovation and the innovative process within companies, we identify certain elements that justify the development level of entrepreneurship. Using Principal Component Analysis, we confirm that innovation, in its various forms (process, product, etc.); can significantly affect discrepancies among the countries. The three factorial axes resulting from the analysis of the main components (competition, product innovation and process innovation) explain the positioning of States on either side of the international hierarchy.

Angela Merkel’s energy policy in Germany beginning in the 2010s has been marked by the accelerated implementation of the energy transition plan known as “Energiewende”. The plan, which has involved as its central component aggressive denuclearization in the wake of the 2011 Fukushima crisis, has resulted in a revolution in the country’s energy sector, especially with regard to the country’s extensive use of nuclear energy. This has left Germany in the position of replacing a relatively clean energy source with more polluting ones, such as lignite and natural gas, resulting in a paradox given the ‘green’ nature of the plan. This article analyzes private economic impacts of the plan as well as changes in energy sources and carbon emissions resulting from the Energiewende from 2010 to 2020.

In recent times, Spain has seen the emergence of a number of social movements advocating for decent housing. This has been in parallel with the deepening and generalization of this problem for an important part of the population. These movements integrate political ideas and forms of collective action that have developed and matured over the last two decades in markedly different situations. This article proposes that, rather than disconnected groups and movements, we can speak of a long sequence of on-going mobilization with various waves of urban protests, which reached their maximum relevance under the economic crisis. This narrative takes the city of Seville as a case study and depicts the main features of this cycle as observed from an investigation based on direct participant observation.

This article reveals quantitative and qualitative results on modernity / late modernity in the representations of race and race-gender of characters victims of violence in 100 cartoon series representing 33.22% of TV products and 54.34% of cartoons, consumed by children between 7-15 years old in Mexico. The methodology was content analysis and correlational analysis of five categories: Race and Gender of 1,081 characters; and Types, Subtypes and Nature of the violence they receive. The results reveal that characters of white / Caucasian race (42.87%) ; and white / Caucasian & male gender (27.68%) are the groups that receive the highest percentage of violence. Conclusions reveals that late modern racism means that the representations of race and race-gender in the sample produce racial differentiation and racial hierarchization; this kind of representations put in a inferior position at the race of the groups of Caucasian race and Caucasian race - male gender, by representing these groups (of biopolitical superiority of the social subject in modernity) in a higher percentage as victims (recipients of violence).

This study analyzes dadvertising codes associated with gender equality. Dadvertising is a type of advertising that promotes accurate andmultifaceted representations of males in their role as fathers within the home. Being an emerging trend, there are not enough studies to build empathetic and inclusive advertising messages directed at parents. For this study, a qualitative methodology was adopted to analyze the Interbank branding spot “More time to grow”. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 15 Peruvian parents age 25 to 39 years. Results of the analysis showed that dadvertising codes associated with gender equality in the spot are: protection, satisfaction, fellowship, emotional empowerment, equity values, emotional expression and work-family balance. These codes contribute to the construction of an advertising discourse away from traditional stereotypes, aimed at generating a positive brand identification and attitude toward parents.
