Resumen
Orange Is the New Black (Netflix, 2013-2019) was one of the first shows written by and starring women that appealed to a broad, gender-neutral audience. In a format as predominantly male-dominated as TVIII's serialised drama, this show was a paradigm shift for quality television and narrative complexity. This research studies the narrative characteristics of the show, focusing on the plots and characters of its first season. The differences between Orange Is the New Black and the norms of serialised drama affect the number of power-related plots featuring women and the way in which these stories are developed. The increase of women in the screenwriting team is consisten with changes in the narrative construction and in the representation of historically neglected groups.

Resumen
The teenage comic character Sabrina has been adapted for teen television from two antagonistic prisms: from open-air comedy to streaming mystery fiction on Netflix. To check their similarities and differences, a qualitative content analysis is applied, designed for the study of supernatural adolescent series, which analyzes about thirty characters, their plots and conflicts, visual development, and their stereotypes. The article concludes that, in essence, the protagonists show continuity, but with great de facto differences regarding affective relationships. Story plots confront bullying and defend feminism, sexual freedom, and equality. Both adaptations of this teenage series are distant in form but not in substance. In them, the teenage icon decides her future, magical and mortal, by overcoming social injustices, defending her family and showing loyalty to her friends.

Resumen
Journalism is an activity that does not escape the gender gap. Despite progress in equality in recent decades, the analysis of women in media newsrooms show data even today that prove differences between men and women. Within this context, this study aims, on one hand, to characterise the main indicators revealing the gender gap in the profession and, on the other, to discover the opinions of acting professionals in this regard. To this end, a survey was conducted with 522 workers in news media in the Basque Country. Firstly, the results corroborate the existence of a wage gap and a significant difference in holding positions of responsibility in the media. Furthermore, the data collected indicate a second gap, the perception of the influence of gender in developing a professional career. In general terms, this concerns professional women to a much greater extent than men, a concern that is reaffirmed by how the data on the professional situation corroborate these perceptions.

Resumen
This article proposes an analysis of the representation of women scientists in film through the case study of the pioneer philosopher and astronomer Hypatia of Alexandria in the film Ágora (Alejandro Amenábar, 2009). The objectives of the research aim to explore and describe the different mechanisms of representation of this figure in film. To this end, a textual and narrative analysis of the character has been performed, complemented with data on the development of the film obtained through the consultation of different sources. Considering previous studies on film representations of women scientists and assuming the premise that the film was widely distributed, the main results point to a broad visibility of the figure of Hypatia of Alexandria as an admired woman in the scientific field, but limited by the social context dominated by men. Despite the creative licenses taken by the authors of the film, a positive portrayal of the relationship between women and scientific development is found.

Resumen
This article reviews in depth and against the grain the Cantinflas’ film El Señor Doctor. Grounded on a reading from the Slovenian School, we propose a rethinking of the political, social and medical conditions that are reflected in this movie. In this respect, our path tries to clarify some approaches to Cantinflas’s political relationship with the political class of the 1960s in Mexico and the use of his films as an element beyond propaganda in order to establish how it support effective speeches of the PRI’s regime in Mexico. Moreover, we make an analysis of the medical-political discursive structures, which we find focus the Cantinflas’s speeches that approve the institutional dynamics of the PRI in the State's project.

Resumen
The aim of this research is to analyze the representation of teenage women in contemporary Spanish television fiction. In order to do so, it identifies from among all the national production those series that address teenagers: Merlí (2015-2018), Élite (2018-2021), Skam España (2018-2020), and HIT (2020-2021). The study also seeks to determine the percentage of female participation in the team, as well as the identification of the female main characters and their categorization into archetypes, in order to critically discuss whether these perpetuate traditional gender stereotypes. A mixed methodology is used, mainly qualitative content analysis. Results show that, although the representation of women is perpetuated from two opposite roles (the femme fatale and the innocent woman) there is a tendency towards new personality types and characteristics, such as comicality, rebelliousness, wisdom, and heroism.

Resumen
This article analyses the presence of women in the Goya Awards from 1987 to 2021. It is studied both globally, according to whether they are candidates, nominees or award winners, and according to the 19 award categories identified. The aim is to analyse their presence as authors both comprehensively and by category in order to identify whether there is parity in any of the categories analysed. The categories with the highest and lowest number of women, those which have awarded the first prize to a woman or those which have done so later, have also been identified.
Findings show a positive but still insufficient evolution over time towards parity, given that the number of female award winners, nominees, and candidates, except in three categories, is significantly lower than that of men. However, if the increase in women's presence observed continues, it is to be hoped that the situation will improve over time.

Resumen
Conceptually, art continually develops works through different languages, which are always being renewed. Perhaps some of the elements that have most influenced this process of change are digital systems, tools that have revealed a different perspective. An interesting example in this regard is that of the Spanish artist Maria Mallo. In her works, Mallo takes different references ranging from the structures of radiolarian skeletons, to natural geometric patterns, to produce a created reality, which can be known and recognized through technology. From these concepts, this work aims to use the videos produced by Mallo between 2015 and 2021, as a documentary research tool, which allows to know the processes of development and creation used in his artistic production. A process that seems to overcome the limits of imagination, seeking to redefine the traditional concepts of art.

Resumen
The academic teaching and research profession is full of interactions with professionals that you adopt as an example in circunstances than almost go unnoticed at the time. Over time, doing a retrospective, you visualize the events that marked you, as a reciprocal interaction between the rational sustenance that this profession requires and the inevitable and sometimes enigmatic emotions. Because the path of science was never exempt from them.
