This research examined activists’ speech of gender diversity and dissidences regarding their exclusion in the Chilean health system. The study was situated in the region of Valparaíso, which from 2017 to 2020 ranks first nationally for having the majority of homolesbobitransphobia cases. Data collected through interviews were examined using the three-dimensional method of critical discourse analysis. The results reveal the heteronormative predominance in health institutions that discriminate diversities and dissidences from the ignorance of professionals who represent the biomedical paradigm, preserving biopolitical violence, historical invisibility and deterioration of their mental health. However, dissident activists are able to emancipate themselves from these power structures, rating the current socio-health crisis resulting from COVID 19, a favorable scenario for the fissure of heterocentrism that insists on remaining imbricated in the health system, as in LGBTIQ+ collectives, paradoxically denoting exclusion in networks for inclusion, expressed in trans and plumophobia.

Resumen
In this article we exhibit the need for specialization to translate and paratranslate LGBT+ texts —namely those dealing with non-binary identities— and the importance of encouraging publishers to use sensitivity readers. To prove our hypothesis we analyse the translation into Spanish of Gender Queer: A Memoir, a graphic novel in which Maia Kobabe shows eir path on discovering eir sexual and gender identities. The intention of the aforementioned book is that of a guide, and language should walk hand in hand with image through an evolution that will lead us beyond the gender binary not only on the text, but also on its paratexts.

Resumen
When addressing sexuality in politics and public policy, we can identify several discourses that shape divergent representations about what sexuality is and/or what it should be, and the incumbent role of the State on it. This paper aims to analyse the policy frames found in the sexuality public debate. I address this drawing from a critical frame analysis of political texts and from interviews with key actors, in order to discuss the potential of a «Personal autonomy and pleasure» frame, promoted mainly by the feminist movement. My claim is this frame has the potential to reinvigorate the conventional sexual portrayals captured in the Chilean law. This frame also points to Sexual and Reproductive Rights to be guaranteed, and above all, radically makes the case for body autonomy, unveiling the State as articulating more than one domination discourse.
