Resumen
The current intercultural dialogue has to decide what culture is. This is related to the social organization: it is dynamic, plural and mutable. Therefore, it is not accurate to talk about a single culture, but about different cultures. For a culture to be comprehensible, the images of its language games have to reflect universal human behaviours. As an example, it is the expression of the tragic soul in Pasolini´s aesthetic-cinematographic experience, who tried to study in depth human nature.

Resumen
Polanski directs The tragedy of Macbeth shortly after his wife´s tragic death, Sharon Tate. From some viewpoints, this fact marked considerably the film, which was one of the least acclaimed Polanski´s movies. In this essay, we have comparated in detail Polanski´s film and William Shakespeare´s play and we have concluded that this film is completely related to the vast majority of this film maker´s movies. Polanski´s version respects the text from the play and perfectly reproduces the Middle Ages. The film director proves again his great uncontrolled imagination since he stages scenes that Shakespeare only suggests.

Resumen
Verdi wanted to do something new, different, united and with an extreme dramatic briefness, with his Macbeth; and he succeeded in some way. The composer established for this experimental drama a combination between singing, recitation and gesture. It was the achievement of a brand new ideal: “the scenic word.”

Resumen
The present work studies the literary, dramatic and performative qualities of Macbeth, in an attempt at establishing its singularity within the corpus of Shakespeare’s plays. This work seems to be unique as a Shakespearean drama owing, not only to its preservation as a printed text, but also to its complex literary language, its dubious stage history and the difficulties producers have to overcome in order to present it to a contemporary audience. The play’s “black legend” is thus explained and justified.

Resumen
The intercultural research requires to become aware of the mental ethnocentric schemes of the heterogeneity. The ethical standing of research points out that it is not question of a cognitive effort only, but it’s mostly about an affective work of recognition of otherness.

Resumen
Akira Kurosawa’s Macbeth is one of the greatest adaptations of any Shakespeare’s plays. Throne of Blood, is not a simple adaptation, moreover Kurosawa deals with such a tragedy making if part of the Japanese tradition. From Scotland to Japan, Kurosawa nurtures this story with the Japanese culture, however Macbeth still remains our well-known Macbeth.

Resumen
Orson Welles, since he was a child, admired Shakespeare´s work. This admiration and some financial problems lead him to shoot Macbeth. He had a limited budget and only a few days. Therefore the film wasn´t very good. It was object of a lot of criticism. However this is the most faithful copy to the original. It respect the structure and the dialogue of Shakespeare´s work. It´s a merit that we should admit to this american director.
