This article examines the relation between adolescents and mass media contents. The conclusions emphasize that a thematic unit exists in media contents independently of the media that transports them. This composes a sort of Cognitive Zone of Meaning Adolescents integrated by diverse topics of the youth taste. These contents are horror and mystery, also elements depending on the genre, such action for boys and romantic components for girls.

The question, in the present article, is to confront two movie texts and exploring the difference between the classic cinema and postclassic one. The first text is Dogville, postclassic film directed by Lars von Trier in 2003; the second one, The Sun Shines Bright, film of the classic epoch of Hollywood directed by John Ford in 1953. The textual analysis of the beginning of Dogville and of the center and the end of both films, allows us to see the differents representations of the violence, the sexual relation and the death.

The public presence of the State is articulated in the democratically advanced societies from the norms of protocol in vigor, consensuated and approved from the constitutional, and responsible of the fidelity in the nonverbal communication of the national identities, principles. The autonomic administrations and the central one´s legislative competitions to order their public appearances in their official acts have been recognized, and in that frame Decree 77/2002 registers, of 26 of February, by that it regulates the regime of precedences and treatments in the scope of the Authonomic Government of Andalusia, object of this article. The Andalusian protocolic norm reflects the structure of powers that the Andalusians have granted to themselves in the Constitution and the Statute of Autonomy and indicates the codes that are to be applied for a correct perception of image on the part of all the citizens in the public appearances of their representatives and administrators. We come to review in these lines the antecedents and the characteristics of this decree, establishing a comparative analysis with the state norm and indicating the main points of conflict, successes and failures that it presents.

Although new models of persuasion have been proposed, the classic sourcemessage-mean-receiving-feedback remains completely effective by its microanalytical character and its pragmatism. Within that model, a widely studied variable has been the cognitive responses one; in the present article its adaptation to new digital means is studied, and the diversity of those responses is verified, that are now possible to verify in real contexts, outside the laboratory, which has been the classic frame of study. An empirical application of content analysis shows that the commentaryanswer to a message prefers the derogation of the source mainly as form of fast and global opposition, while the valorative and informed answers are much less frequent, and that the message provokes a much greater number of answers between its opponents than between those who are favorable. In this frame of study is defended the convenience of studying verbal mistreat, as a way of inducing the spiral of silence, of so proven effects in interpersonal persuasion, and whose influence has been ignored until now in the mediatic persuasion.

The 11 theses of this article line out some perspectives in order to improve the theory and the practice of interculturality in the context of the so-called “global culture” in the contemporary dominant society. On the one hand the theses presented in this paper underline the value of recovering contextuality as a condition of life; on the other hand they also underline the necessary renewal of the educational, cultural and political institutions which to a great extent control the production and transmission of knowledge as well as the relations between peoples and cultures.

This article proposes the concept of cultural pluralism, as an answer to the reality of cultural diversity and as a more comprehensive alternative to diversity awareness linked to multiculturalism. Cultural pluralism implies an expression of political and social will to set a broad standard for rights beyond ethnicity, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, etc. To give an in-depth exploration to this idea, such examples as the partition of India in 1947 and the Canadian Multiculturalism Act are analyzed. Immigration and Feminism are also addressed from the perspective of multicultural debate.

Modernity brought along many consequences. Technological developments and progress influenced everything. Thus, old cities became the scenario of technological changes. Many have theorised on these principles, mainly on those linked to spatial and temporary dimensions of the city. The comprehension and definition o these two dimensions have been crucial for understanding humanity itself. Paul Virilio, speed expert, brings his own particular point of view on the matter. Virilio conceives cities as acceleration spaces, where technology and architecture inhibit the ancient human job of communication, vital for its own development.

Apart from the problems of the cinema during its very beginning, there was a general agreement to its social dimension, because it displays its activity in a cultural environment where the cinema gets very important influences and to which it gives a special offer too. As the cinema is “universal”, it is considered a good way of going through borders and getting in touch with different cultures; nevertheless, this should be just the beginning of an approach to each other. We shouldn´t declare ourselves satisfied with the knowledge of another culture which is shown to us in a credible but not a realistic way and hardly ever a true picture of a much more complex reality.

Social contract acted like base of generation of democratic societies, wich, through the applied science, they developed mass media that gradually have left its work mediator to transform it into controlator. This change has supposed, among other things, new organization forms and social interaction, even tunneling that first foundation of contract that is substituted now by contact, opening the way to emergency of universe of image, explain like simplification of reality and necessity of appearing to be a truly social entity.

Communication has not a precise and exact definition. Communication is not a science. Communication is not a discipline; rather, it is undisciplined. The indiscipline of communication is found in its own genesis (if it has any). The (new) communications want to escape these occidental canonical patterns in order to be heard. To be heard and hear the multiple voices which from its hyperactivity are trying to come to light, in spite of the marks given by the traditional informational-epistemological establishment.
