Renewable energy comes from inexhaustible natural sources, so its use will reduce the excessive operation of non-renewable sources. In Ecuador, the use of non-conventional renewable energies is promoted by law. The objective of this work is to analyze the efficiency and feasibility of a fixed Isolated Photovoltaic System (SFA) with a mobile SFA. This was achieved with the use of: solar panels, batteries, MPPT charge controllers, metal structures, cables, Arduino Uno module, transformer and an MG996R servomotor to control the panel. PVGIS was also used to simulate each system. As a result, a mobile SFA was obtained, which, at an energy level, is more efficient than a fixed SFA, with 13 % more production. However, the implementation cost is not offset by the production obtained. On the other hand, comparing a fixed SFA with double power with a mobile SFA and a fixed SFA, at an energy level it is superior, however, more space is needed for implementation as it has two panels. In conclusion, a fixed SFA with double power is superior to all the previously proposed systems, since the implementation cost is compensated by the amount of energy produced.

Finding new means that allow the generation of environmentally friendly energy is a constant problem of modern societies. For this research, solar panels are used as a resource to produce energy, complementing them with a system that allows control for their proper orientation and thus captures the sun's rays efficiently. The objective is to develop a control system that allows improving the collection of solar energy and, therefore, energy production. To do this, the proposed control system is described for the appropriate location of the solar panel, determining the components with their characteristics that allow evaluating the performance of the system. A control system was developed for the use of solar energy through a structure that will follow the position of the sun at certain times of the day, depending on its light intensity; In addition, its characteristics and components were determined. In conclusion, a system is defined for tracking a single axis, which allows obtaining a higher efficiency of 12% to 23% compared to fixed positioning systems.

In this research, an intervention proposal is presented in the field of architectural recycling, which has been developed specifically for Ground Zero of the city of Portoviejo. One of the highlights in this study was the identification of a selection process that allowed the building to be chosen that met the necessary requirements to become the ideal project for its development. An exhaustive analysis was carried out on each element that makes up the Amen House, from its history to its functions and its current physical state. A major challenge in this proposal was the fact that the house is listed as a City Heritage Site, implying the need to carefully preserve its distinctive features. As a result of this detailed analysis, a proposal was formulated to revitalize and extend the useful life of this building.

The paper “Estimation of Renewable Energy Potential in Malqui Machay” performs an analysis of renewable energy potential in Malqui Machay, Ecuador, utilizing an advanced methodology that integrates geospatial analysis and application of mathematical models and equations, with data sources including NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration). The results show a significant solar photovoltaic potential of 361.80 KWh/ m2, which is remarkably high compared to the more moderate wind power density and biomass energy estimates. This variance highlights the suitability of the region for solar PV projects and suggests implementation of small-scale wind turbines, harnessing of biomass from organic waste streams, in addition to hybrid systems integrating these non-conventional renewables...

ICT as tools for educational integration have allowed the development of strategies in areas such as mathematics, improving the pedagogical process of concepts, maximizing the quality of resources, and strengthening learning. From the combination of didactic strategies with pre-instructional or directed teaching activities, it is essential to develop evaluative structures to ensure that the instructional conceptions are fully implemented. The purpose of this research is to establish a pedagogical innovation strategy to improve the teaching-learning process of mathematics in unified general high school students considering information and communication technologies. A quantitative empirical-analytical research methodology is developed. Two phases are carried out. In the first phase, a review of relevant literature is carried out. In the second phase, the survey technique is applied to a group of fifty high school teachers. The impact of pedagogical innovation in the teaching-learning process of high school mathematics is determined from their educational work. The pedagogical innovation strategies found to optimize the mathematics teaching-learning process considering ICT are adopted according to the classification of pre-instructional, instructional, and post-instructional. The use of pedagogical strategies in the three stages pre instructional, co instructional, and post instructional in the different areas of knowledge allow the application of forms of innovation with the support of ICT.

Aniline is a very important compound in organic chemistry, mainly used to synthesize polyurethane and its precursors. In the present work, the simulation and conceptual design of an aniline production process through the catalytic hydrogenation route of nitrobenzene was carried out using ChemCADÒ simulator. The simulated aniline production process consisted of a fired heater, a tubular reactor, several heat exchangers, a phase separator, a decanter, as well as two distillation columns. By means of the simulation, the temperatures, pressures, mass flowrates and enthalpies of the main intermediate and final streams were known, as well as the main operating and design parameters of some equipment. About 1,743 kg/h of aniline with a purity of 99.78% are produced at the top stream of the second distillation column, while about 49,881 kg/h of hydrogen are obtained as a by-product in the phase separator. In this work a first-of-its-kind ChemCAD simulation model was obtained in this work, which can be utilized for further optimization studies and tasks involving the increment of aniline purity, yields and productivity.
