Resumen
We propose to interpret the immanentlogic of works of art, which for both Merleau-Ponty and Adorno constitutes its essentialfeature, as a grammar, in the senseof its own system of signs. We will showthat what is proper to this grammar, as alanguage that resists objectification, conceptualization, consists in the reciprocal–dialectical– intertwining of what hasbeen said, fixed in concepts, and whathas not yet been expressed, what remainsto be said. The text goes as follows: 1.Introduction; 2. Grammar of expressionand 3. Grammar of resistance.

Resumen
In this text I briefly outline some ofthe ways in which the relations betweenart and politics have been conceived, payingattention to the operations of iconoclasmand disenfranchisement of artdenounced by some authors. I then offeran attempt at systematization and a proposalfor understanding what I considerto be the true political potential of art.

Resumen
Abstract: This article is a commentaryon two theoretical contributions regardingthe aesthetic ideology of the formless, understood as a particular way inwhich the opposition between the contentand the form has been constitutiveof aesthetic modernism. The two theoreticalcontributions are those pointed outin Georges Bataille’s L’Informe (1929)and in T. W. Adorno’s Vers une musiqueinformelle (1961). In order to analyzethe most relevant theses outlined in bothtexts, we will elaborate a critical readingof Martin Jay’s approach to this questionin his essay Modernism and the retreatfrom form (1991).

For the French writer Marcel Proust, art in general, and more specifically literature, its main function to help us incorporatethe past into our present experiences, allowing us to associate what we havelived previously to our current sensationsand experiences, and thereby facilitatingour reaching the essential reality, the realitythat goes beyond the simple immediateevents and the unbearable banalityin which the demands and urgencies ofeveryday life tend to submerge us.

Resumen
In the present article, and from theanalysis of some of the main theoreticalelements that characterize them, thehypothesis of the possible convergencebetween the critical hermeneutics ofGianni Vattimo and the Object-OrientedOntology, substantially representedby Graham Harman, two currents ofconsiderable strength in contemporaryphilosophy, is put forward. In order tosustain such an approach, the basic principlesof their respective ontologies willbe addressed, as well as epistemologicaland practical aspects, concluding thattheir approaches are today essential forthe foundation of an ecological ethics.

Resumen
This article offers an interpretation ofBacons’s paintings focusing on the subjectof the body. It takes advantage ofDeleuze’s analysis, who, appealing particularlyto his reception of Nietzsche andSpinoza, asks the question about the relationshipbetween matter and the forcesthat animate it, what becomes perceptiblein the body. This question aspires toredefine the comprehension of the samerelationship between matter and form, which, according to Deleuze’s interpretationof Bacon, has to be read as limit-tensionor limit-spatialization. In this way,on the basis of Bacon’s work, it will bestressed the meaning of particular stylisticconceptions not only for art historyand for the history of philosophy.

Resumen
The aim of this paper is a reconsiderationof John Dewey’s stay in China,an experience abroad that influencedenormously in his intellectual and humandevelopment. Our approach willbe comparative, assessing his model ofcultural dialogue through a contrast betweenhis attitudes and actions in Chinaand Bertrand Russell’s ones. We thinkthat, thanks to this thorough comparativeresearch, we make much clearer theirrespective conceptions of the role that intellectualscould play in international politicalsceneries. One hundred year afterthey arrived to and thought about China,we think that this often-unknownchapter of the history of intellectuals canbe particularly relevant for ensuing surveysof cultural studies and sociology ofknowledge.

Resumen
We propose a reading of the plague inthe tragedy of Sophocles Philoctetes, basedon the interpretive paradigms of PaulRicoeur, which emphasizes the role of themythical model in updating the symbolsof origin and especially the presence ofevil. We go through the notions associatedwith dirt as guilt and wound as expiation. From there we offer lines of reflectionto think about the non-physicalimplications of the current pandemic; ifthe cosmic plane of events connects withan ethical plane, the relationship withpresent evil demands new communityresponses.
