Few philosophical subjects raise sucha controversial issue than the history ofWestern music. Is there a history of music?Does Western music have a history? What kind of story or stories has beenwritten? It is hoped that the multi-facetedapproach proposed here will contributeto a greater understanding of theotologic paradigms of Early Music andthe philosophical understanding of thehistory of Western music.

Resumen
This paper studies the rejection ofNietzsche’s philosophy and the philosophical-historical horizon of God’s deathin the work of Carl Schmitt. It also addressesthis rejection as an explanatorykey to Nietzsche’s presence in two ofthe major criticisms of The Concept ofthe Political (1927/1932): the criticismsof Helmuth Plessner in Political Anthropology(1931) and of Jacques Derridain The Politics of Friendship (1994). Thedialogue of such thinkers with some ofthe fundamental concepts of Nietzsche’sphilosophy would show the importancethat the latter acquires for a critique ofpolitical theology.

Resumen
The purpose of this paper is to explore atension and a desire. The tension is the onewe find between our ability to change ourmind, a crucial component of almost anyconception of progress, and the tendency weapparently show to cling to the core beliefsof the political identity we identify with ina particular context. In order to adopt moreinclusive positions and become better citizens,we would like to be able to detect andreplace our prejudices. And yet, we are dragged, sometimes against our better judgment, toward positions that we inherited from thosewith whom we share the things we careabout. Throughout this paper we wonderhow it is possible to intervene on this tensionin order to retain necessary aspects for bothtendencies. In particular, we explore how itis possible to intervene on this apparent problemby fulfilling a desire: we want to combatbad discourse with more discourse. Theintervention strategies devised to counteractthe negative effects of the rise of polarizationthat we develop are aimed at improving thequality of democratic deliberation. Deliberatingwith those whom we disagree withseems to us to be an essential democraticideal. In this sense, there is no progress withoutdisagreement.

Resumen
This article criticises the notion oflove as ideology that dominates contemporaryfeminist reflections, contrastingit with one of love understood, withinthe framework of the emotional turn, asa force that enables the creation of newsocial bonds in the current context ofsocial crisis. Among the multiple voicesthat bring together this perspective, ToniNegri offers us a concept of love —whichis crystallised in the trilogy Empire, Multitudeand Commonwealth— as a creativepsychosocial passion that allows us to illuminatethe problematic knot betweendiverse subjectivities and affects whenit comes to thinking about the waysin which we wish to inhabit our socialworld.

Resumen
The aim of this paper is to analysethe problem of the relation betweenthe reflection principle and the hostilityprinciple, from modern philosophy and, more specifically, in these authors: Hegel,Schmitt and Derrida. Then, I will expose howthis problem is central in the definitionof the Political, according to Carl Schmitt. Finally, I will use Derrida’s critique ofSchmitt to understand how this problemis a fundamental element in the philosophicalmodernity.
