A methodological essay is presented to assess vulnerability of beaches´ human activity caused by jellyfish blooms arrivals. The pilot study area are the beaches of Torre del Mar and Caleta de Vélez (Velez-Málaga, Spain). The methodology proposes various criteria to assess the vulnerability of the tourism sector at various levels of scale, both in spatial and temporal dimensions. There are three spatial levels: scale of detail (the beach itself), socioeconomic influence area and municipal scale. On the other hand, the short and long-term consequences are estimated at a temporary level. Fundamentally, user surveys, interviews with economic actors in the area and analysis of statistical records are used. In general, it is observed that part of the economic activity related to the beaches improves in the short term with the presence of jellyfish while in the long term it suffers.

People living in urban areas must face several challenges to improve their health and well-being. The purpose of this research is to further explore how the use of urban blue and green spaces is related to the people’s mood feelings when visiting these spaces. A cross-sectional study is carried out with an adult sample population in Albania with people between 16-74 years old by an online survey. Respondents have been asked to complete the survey via the platform Google Form, from April to May 2021. The questionnaire included questions related to socio-economic characteristics, urban green and blue spaces (GBS), and self-reported feelings information. After the validation and cleaning process, a representative sample (95% level of confidence) of 530 respondents was obtained. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze indicators such as (1) sociodemographic characteristics; (2) frequency of visits in GBS in the last 4 weeks; (3) time spending during the visit; (4) activities carried out during the visit; (5) type of accompaniment; (6) the reason for not visiting GBS and the quality of GBS. The SPSS software platform was used for the statistical analyses. The frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation calculations were used to calculate data from the sample. The Chi-square test was used to examine the relationship between the frequency of visits in blue space and the people’ mood. The study shows a significant relationship among the frequency of visits of blue and green spaces and positive mood feelings.

This article aims to verify the resilience of urban tourism in the face of the COVID-19 crisis, and identify its main features, taking the city of Malaga as a reference. The methodological approach provided by the economic analysis will be used to analyze the dynamics that have been registered in the accommodation market, both conventional (hotels) and short-term rental tourist housing. The data refer to demand, supply and price indicators for the period between September 2018 and the same month in 2021. The results of the analysis show clear signs of recovery in the tourism market as of spring 2021. More specifically, the role that residents of Spain acquire in the demand for hotel accommodation is confirmed. Likewise, in the peer-to-peer market, it is confirmed that, months after the lifting of mobility restrictions, the activity levels reached before the pandemic were exceeded. On this basis, it seems pertinent to reopen and rethink the debate on the carrying capacity of cities and the advisability of regulating the tourist accommodation market.

COVID-19 has been a profound shock to the global economy and, in particular, in the aviation industry, as it is affected by restrictive measures to stop the spread of the virus. Besides describing the impact of the pandemic on the commercial aviation sector globally, this study analyses the air connectivity of Spanish airports in order to understand the changes that have occurred in the country’s airport network because of COVID-19. Through the study of connectivity with a topological connectivity coefficient and its mapping, this analysis looks at the history of the Spanish aviation diachronically (1970 to 2020). There is no doubt that the pandemic is affecting aviation in away never experienced before, both in terms of commercial (frequencies and routes) and health security.

One of the first tasks to tackle any scientific publication is to review all the scientific literature on the subject. This article presents a methodology that allows analyzing scientific trends in a discipline through a bibliometric analysis. Specifically, the field of Economic Geography is used as a case study, Web of Science (WoS) has been chosen as the database for this analysis. With a set of 4,307 publications, various bibliometric indicators are analyzed, such as the evolution of scientific production, the agents involved (countries and organizations) and topics addressed, in order to see the evolution of the scientific output and the thematic specializations of Economic Geography from 1920 to the present.

The study of the bioclimatic limits is essential in each region to know the distribution of the vegetal formations. The objective of the work was to elaborate bioclimatic maps of Argentina in three periods of time (Last Glacial Maximum, current situation and climate change scenario RCP8.5 of 2070) and analyze their changes. For this, the methodology of the types of bioclimatic regimes was applied from continuous climatic databases of WordClim. As a result, a reduction in the surface of the mesocryophilic, hypercryophilic and cryophilic thermal types was observed between the Last Glacial Maximum and the present day and the thermophile appears in the future scenario. This research is a contribution to the understanding of the distribution of vegetation on a national scale and its dynamics.

Mathematical resilience is a student's ability to survive and be positive when facing difficulties and anxiety in learning mathematics as indicated by the ability to work collaboratively with groups, and have language skills to communicate mathematical understanding. Learning mathematics online caused various negative conditions for students; reduced learning interactions, internet disturbances, material that was not optimally explained, even low support for studying at home. This study aims to find out about students’ mathematical resilience when taking online mathematics lessons during the Covid 19 Pandemic. A qualitative phenomenological design was used, in which 20 high school students in Medan, participated. Data was collected through an open online questionnaire and interview, due to the implementation of social restrictions in Medan. Thematic analysis was used to interpret the data. The results are summed up: (1) Implementation and use of mathematics learning platforms during the Covid 19 Pandemic; (2) Adaptation of students learning mathematics; (3) Students' belief in learning mathematics; (4) students' communication skills during mathematics learning; (5) The Support for learning mathematics. This study recommends several suggestions to strengthen students' mathematical resilience in order to overcome mathematical difficulties and problem when taking online mathematics learning.

The meridional mountains of Europe are located in Andalusia, in the south of the Iberian Peninsula. In this region, orographic and climatic factors are the main circumstances that condition the landscape and cultural peculiarities. Nowadays, its ecosystems show a high vulnerability to climate change, its traditional ways of life are in crisis and its cultural heritage is endangered by abandonment and depopulation. This paper analyzes some of the main documents that include proposals of environmental education at European, national and regional levels from the point of view of its adaptation the territory of the Andalusian Mediterranean mountains. Some educational actions are also evaluated in order to detect the possible existence of dysfunctionalities or deficiencies among the different educational policies and projects. Finally, a series of actions are proposed to optimize environmental education programs.

A crisis of port and urban governance can be observed in the Bay of Pasaia (Gipuzkoa-Basque Country). This work aims to analyse the trajectory of the port-city relationship by observing the conflict between the different actors in the territory. In addition to the field work and the different contributions of the bibliography, the methodology is based on local press cuttings as a source of information. This type of research makes it possible to characterise these actors, their expectations and interaction processes, and to quantify the intensity of the disputes according to the different episodes in the sequence. The effectiveness of the Landlord Port model, conflict and actors in land management is discussed. The main conclusions of this study point out that all the actors involved in the conflict are legitimised to act, despite the fact that citizens are not in the decision-making spheres. Therefore, the analysis leads to the recognition that the main difficulty is observed in the inability of the actors involved to consider the city-port interface as a common good and not as a potential resource.

The aim of this research is to analyse the evolution of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) on the Malaga-Seville territorial axis, as well as on public transport policies and on the aspect of territorial cohesion, in particular as regards the rail network. The qualitative methodology used in the article is based on systematic and documentary literature review. The results of the work show that the TEN-T play a decisive role in the objective of territorial cohesion in Andalusia, although there is still insufficient development of these networks and a certain political incapacity persists. It is concluded that the TEN-T have been particularly important for the railway infrastructure of Andalusia.
