Within the framework of current research on intra-urban accessibility, this study aims to characterize the access of young population to the public transport network for night-time leisure, as well as to identify the inequalities, and potential socio-spatial inequities in the city of Alcobendas (Autonomous Community of Madrid, Spain). As to methods, we have resorted, among others, to the General Transit Feed Specification data, which provide innovative analytical opportunities, and to the Geographic Information Systems processing and inferential statistical techniques. The results reveal, with high temporal and spatial accuracy, a broad coverage of this population group, prioritizing the areas with the highest potential demand and the lowest per capita income, although they also uncover some problems in certain night-time periods and areas, particularly in terms of frequency.

The Ecuadorian economic history has been fundamentally unstable, generating low returns in the commercial and financial area. In this context, the paper examines the background related to the commercial and financial insertion of Ecuadorian economic history, with a qualitative approach and using the historical method. The background analysis shows that the commercial aspect has a high dependence on exports, crediting it to the lack of autonomy generated in the colonial era and the need for a productive matrix with added value. Regarding the financial aspect, indebtedness and public spending have had negative effects on economic development, and to counteract them, economic integration and a change in productive ideology are proposed.

International Trade, as part of the global economy, has suffered the consequences of the crisis originated by the pandemic. This paper pretends to analyze the effects on the exports and imports of products and services in Spain. The conclusions show that, the drastic falls in some sectors had a temporary component in most cases (especially sanitary and esential goods), but other industries (like tourism, hospitality and leisure) are still suffering the consequences. Although the trade of goods are going back to normal, touristic services still remain behind. The lack of visitors from other countries has also had an impact on the reduction of foreign capital inflows, which are registered in the Balance of Payments. However, perspectives for the coming months are positive, as most of the restrictions associated to COVID are gradually disappearing and international air traffic is increasing, bringing foreign tourists back to Spain.

For a long time, Man has been looking for the exploitation of natural resources for daily purposes. Thus, the current scientific and technological development has facilitated and given him real opportunities for the overexploitation of these resources in general and the plant cover in particular. In order to show this exploitation, we want, in this article, to study the evolution of the vegetation cover of the forest of Ait Daoud or Ali, located in the Central High Atlas on an area of 30 860 ha, between 1972, 1999 and 2020, based on remote sensing and GIS tool. Regarding the methodology of work, the multi-chronic study of the dynamics of the vegetation cover of the study area, is based on the spatio-temporal analysis and processing of satellite images by remote sensing space. Indeed, in this paper we have opted for this approach which is based on the use of data from LandSat satellite images of three types; these are the images of type MSS, ETM and Oli, for three dates 1972, 1999 and 2020 (period of 48 years) to identify the spatial differences of the vegetation cover between the three selected dates. Indeed, the study of the dynamics of the vegetation cover of the forest of Ait Daoud or Ali between 1972, 1999 and 2020, showed a very important spatio-temporal variation, linked essentially to several factors (natural and human). The comparison of the results of the classification of Landsat images, showed a decline and a significant degradation of vegetation cover between 1972 and 1999 of 12% of the total area of the study area. This degradation is justified by the intervention of several factors, including climatic conditions and dry periods that Morocco has experienced in this period. For the second period (1999-2020), the treatment showed an increase in vegetation cover of about 10%. In this study, we have highlighted the impact of natural factors and especially anthropic actions on the dynamics of the forest of Ait Daoud or Ali located in the Central High Atlas, based on the use of geospatial techniques that have allowed us to have very precise information on the spatio-temporal dynamics of plant cover.

The Historic Center of Malaga has been undergoing a series of profound architectural, functional and social transformations in recent decades. These processes have not yet been systematically analysed, despite the fact that the study of urban processes such as gentrification is a very present field of academic research. This work aims to determine if the Historic Center of Malaga has presented a gentrification process from the last third of the 20th century to the beginning of the 21st century. The results were obtained and analysed on the basis of a selection of demographic, socio-economic and property indicators that facilitate the identification of this urban phenomenon. The results obtained indicate the existence of an advanced gentrification process. This study establishes the basis for a broader avenue of investigation of this Malaga urban space.

The innovation capacity of companies is related to the reconfiguration or modification of their competitive advantages. It is best explained from the perspective of dynamic capabilities (organisational abilities to manage their resources in changing environments), a field that requires further practical study. Methodologically, a model is provided. The model identifies the most important variables and indicators in order to facilitate managers strategy. That model allows them to explain how those resources and capacities taking part in the development of new processes, products or services influence the reconfiguration of competitive advantage. To support the utility of the model, an exemplary case carried out within the technology sector based on a public and a private company. As conclusions and results, it can be stated that this empirical study supports the scientific literature, verifying how specific innovation activities have to do with the dynamic capabilities from which the company’s sustainable competitive advantage is determined. Regarding that, culture and collaborative behavior play a fundamental role, which along with technology, are evident in the case of the private sector compared to the public one.

Critical analysis of public policies on environmental conservation, management, and tourism development in the protected natural areas of Ecuador to detect their dysfunctions, contradictions, and problems of applicability. A predominantly exploratory research methodology with a descriptive-analytical approach is used when studying and systematizing the different regulations, actions and guidelines existing and implemented by international and national organizations with competencies in environmental conservation and sustainable development. These are systematized and analyzed through the main documents of interest that include principles, strategic guidelines, and specific rules of application.Through primary and secondary sources, and internal documentation of various Administrations we have identified the most visible effects and impacts that these policies have generated in the protection and/or valorization of the natural heritage, as well as in the tourist development compatible with the conservation of these spaces, the generation of complementary income and economic diversification for local communities. We concluded that Ecuadorian regulations on the conservation of protected areas present notable points of collision and lack of coherence or coordination with tourism policies. This is the consequence of two main factors: the lack of a broad strategic vision and comprehensive territorial planning of these territories as sustainable tourist destinations and the lack of a framework for management, planning and collaborative planning between the different local agencies and agents that affect these spaces.

This article, aims to assess the historical importance represented by two iconic archaeological sites located in the municipality of Nueva Guinea, in the Autonomous Region of the South Caribbean Coast (RACCS) of Nicaragua, these being the sites known as “Los Ranchitos” and “La Letra”. Some interpretations are provided on the constituent elements of these sites, the relevance of their location, functionality and their links with surrounding regions. Of vital importance were the field visits at different times, the detailed documentation and the analysis of the spatial distribution of the immovable archaeological evidence, in addition to the associated materiality in each of the sites referred to there are several archaeological collections in the municipality of Nueva Guinea, most of them from fortuitous fi nds in the sites referred to above, so they have been considered of utmost importance to understand social and economic aspects of the ancient populations that occupied these territories.

The purpose of this article is to describe and analyze how the Alcoholics Anonymous religious therapeutic community generates identity among the members of the group. Based on the experience in the fi eld and offi ce work, it was reflected on the various aspects that make up the social phenomenon regarding the way in which Alcoholics Anonymous works. Among the most outstanding results, we find that Alcoholics Anonymous is a community of men and of alcoholism in Mexico, there are Civil Associations among which Alcoholics Anonymous stands out. Although the religious therapeutic method of Alcoholics Anonymous does not guarantee the rehabilitation of alcoholism, the community does operate as a religious group for self-help and mutual help in the face of social problems presented by members of the community. women that works through a religious therapeutic model called the Three Legacies, through which it indoctrinates the members, who acquire cultural patterns that make them fully identify with the grouping. It can be inferred that the ingestion of intoxicating beverages is a generalized contemporary practice that is increasing among the population in Mexico. To address this social problem of alcoholism in Mexico, there are Civil Associations among which Alcoholics Anonymous stands out. Although the religious therapeutic method of Alcoholics Anonymous does not guarantee the rehabilitation of alcoholism, the community does operate as a religious group for self-help and mutual help in the face of social problems presented by members of the community.
