Resumen
The files related to the Argentine Railways are now scattered, fragmented and abandoned throughout the country. Thus accessibility becomes a problem for researchers and people interested in working with them. In this sense, this paper seeks to visibilize a fragment recovered from this file in the context of a project that raises awareness around the importance of archives and, at the same time, it seeks to create links with other parts of this file that extend throughout the country.

Resumen
The article reports the Centro de Estudios Históricos e Información Parque de España de la ciudad de Rosario (Argentina) program for preserving documents, applied to three cases of files of companies. This important initiative not only underscores the lack of both public policy and a corporate culture concerning promotion of systematic programs to preserve documentation of public and private companies to facilitate the research of scholars of economic history and the history of companies.

Resumen
The Bank of the Province of Buenos Aires is now the oldest public institution of Argentine territory. This study aims to transcend its strictly financial and operating action –which has attracted the attention of economic historiography– to emphasize on the political conflicts that arise between the government of the Nation and the Province since 1946, when the national government has nationalized banks and deposits. This is a situation directly related to the various functions: commercial, administrative and bank mortgage, while the parent company for agricultural and industrial economy of Buenos Aires is a substantive player to understand the economics and finance as part of policy decisions taken since the beginnings of Peron in front of the national government and Domingo Mercante as the province’s governor. Disagreements are coincident with the presidency in the financial institution of the former “radical and ex-forjista” linked to Mercante, Arturo M. Jauretche (1946-1950). This lesser-known aspect of the nationalization of the banks between the mid 1940s and 1955, serves as a reference to know the ins and outs of this decision in the area of the powerful province of Buenos Aires.

Resumen
The juicios de residencias in America are significantly relevant in the reconstruction of the social and professional life of colonial judges. Witnesses inquired by the resident judge, provided valuable data about ministers' networks. These data includes alliances with the most important neighbours, commercial or mining entreprises, matrimonial agreements, purchases and sales of properties, participations in political matters, wars, benefits to relatives and intimates, etc. These documents must be used within the context of wider records (Notarial Protocols, acts of Cabildos, agreements books of the Audiencias, private letters, etc.) which give evidence on the intrincate relationships that several hearers performed in their corresponding jurisdiction.
