The objective of this study was to implement a training program in attention behaviors to increase academic performance in elementary school students with ADHD. A methodology based on the study of single cases was used, with a quasi-experimental design and the Basic Skills Inventory (IHB) of Macotela and Romay (2012) was applied, the participants were eight students with a diagnosis of ADHD. The results report the need to intervene in the sub-area of attention with a program of three progressive stages (eye contact, visual fixation in discriminative situations and visual follow-up of successive stimuli); In the post-test evaluation of the IHB, a 35% increase in attention behaviors was obtained and the effects on school performance were an increase of 1,125 in grades (bimonthly evaluation). Such results show that contingency management and the use of behavioral techniques have short-term efficacy in students with ADHD.

Vocational training that combines activities in the labor field and the educational institution is traditionally known as dual training. In Mexico this training has not yet reached a considerable development in higher education. The objective of this documentary research, conducted with the method of conceptual mapping, was to identify with what types of methodological processes dual training is carried out in higher education, their own characteristics, and differences with other terms. At first, 165 articles were obtained from the Redalyc, SciElo, Dialnet and DOAJ databases. After a relevance analysis, 12 texts were selected to carry out the conceptual cartography. The eight axes of analysis were: notion, categorization, characterization, differentiation, division, linkage, methodology and exemplification. The results suggest that higher education institutions have not distinguished with sufficient clarity the difference between the processes of dual training, professional practice, and social service. This causes dual training to fail when planning learning and monitoring it. In addition, a relevant finding was to identify the need to introduce the principles of human capital and situated learning as a basis for dual training. Within the methodological process, three relevant aspects stand out: (1) the context, (2) the organization and pedagogical design, as well as (3) the intervention and evaluation.

We present the results of a study on social representations around educational inclusion/exclusion in participants of psychopedagogical teams in Jalisco, Mexico from the dramatic analysis of stories of school inclusion generated in writing during a group dynamic. The results show the hegemony of a medical-clinical representation scheme, which is overlap on a school intervention scheme. Inclusion is an achievement that involves the participation of various actors, their moral qualities to accept differences, the training of teachers and the intervention of psychopedagogical teams.

This work was carried out in the Totonac community of Lipuntahuaca, in the Sierra Norte de Puebla, Mexico, whose population lives in poverty with a very high social backwardness. The objective was to know the socioeconomic and educational conditions in the face of the new distant education scheme in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The information was obtained from a probabilistic sample. The schooling of parents is low, and their activities do not allow them to support their children in school work. No internet service or computer equipment was observed in any home. It is concluded that families do not have sufficient human, technological, economical and physical resources to face this situation, so it is necessary to rethink the strategies of the new educational models and involves immediate governmental action.

The 21st century requires systemic engineers to face the labor challenges and current circumstances; this implies the domain of factual sciences such as physics; in addition to gnosis on sustainability. A tool that can contribute to the training of this type of engineer is educational research; therefore, this inquiry aims to outline an educational intervention with guidance for the knowledge and quantification of sustainability in the learning of hydrodynamics with students of Engineering. The approach is qualitative in its descriptive aspect, through Research Based on Design, the results indicate, according to expert judges, that the required didactic sequence is viable, due to the systematization with which it was designed.
