Objective: The process of referring patients from primary care to specialized care often results in a lack of continuity of care and delays in health care. In this scenario, the need for specialized care in neurology presents long waiting lines in Brazil. Few studies address the reasons for referrals to neurology in Brazil and, when performed, usually with a convenience sample of patients who manage to reach a single neurological health service. This study aims to quantify the reasons for referrals of primary care physicians to neurology in Belo Horizonte, southeastern Brazil. Methods: It is a cohort with evaluation of all referrals from Primary Care to Neurology in Belo Horizonte, between March 2019 and July 2020. Neurologists or primary care physicians, with experience in neurology referral protocols, performed the assessment of all referrals from the public health system. Results: There were 13,844 referrals to neurologists, or 814.35 referrals by month. Headache, epilepsy and cerebrovascular disorder were the most common reasons.  Conclusion: This work captured all referrals from the public health system to neurology in a major Brazilian city, which can provide community-based information for health policy and health education.

Objective: to identify, through the nurses' speeches, the principles that support their practices in Psychosocial Care Centers. Method: Descriptive-exploratory study with a qualitative approach, whose method used was Laurence Bardin's Content Analysis, which supported the appreciation of the data collected through individual and semi-structured interviews with 03 Mental Health Nurses. The study followed the ethical and scientific foundations surrounding this type of research. Results: the following categories were defined: 1-Theoretical-practical appropriation, training and rationale for mental health care; 2-Psychiatric and psychosocial care paradigms in transition and the challenges for nurses to work. Where the interviewees talk about their professional experiences, highlighting aspects that allude to the need to change the way they look at mental health care from the perspective of nurses working in substitutive services. Final Considerations: It was identified that the new challenges imposed by the transformation of the mental health field still reflect the urgency and greater incentive to qualify nurses, mainly due to the need to integrate knowledge that involves multiple knowledge and appreciation of the potential of new care scenarios in the current context of Psychosocial Care.

The importance of implementing an application/software that checks in real time the braking system of the vehicles, it is enough to review the numerous cases of accidents caused by vehicles due to deficiencies in the brakes, since every time an accident occurs in a vehicle of heavy cargo, light or passengers, Generally it is attributed to brake deficiencies (Camacho, 2022), generating road accidents of great magnitude in which there are targeted victims, from children to the elderly, due to the severity of the accidents most people lose their lives and others are affected for life, as in the case of the accident caused by the tractor-trailer in Colombia (Espectador, 2022). However, it would not be enough, it is important to add to the vehicles a special type of alert sound (CLAXON) that is easy to recognize in these emergency cases, which would allow that all the people around them know the emergency and can help or give free way to the vehicle and reduce the severity of the accident. The two previous proposals merged together would be the necessary change and the leap to the modernization of Colombia.

In this article we investigate the place of Orpheus and of music in Proclus’ works, more specifically in Platonic Theology and analyze how the mythical musician is devoid of his epic-musical feats, characteristic of the representations about him, found in ancient mythology. In the Proclean text, he is represented as a theologian, guardian of the initiatory mysteries that were passed on by the musician to the philosophers, among which Plato receives the greatest prominence. The place of auctoritas occupied by Orpheus is reinforced by his presence always beside Plato in the religious interpretations of the divinities linked to the orphism, presented by Proclus. We seek to present, via passages of Platonic Theology and the orphic hymns attributed to the late-ancient philosopher, the concept of cosmic music revealed in the excerpts and how it relates to the perception of universal harmony and with this conception of Orpheus and Plato theologians. Throughout the work we propose our translation into Portuguese of the excerpts in Greek, based on the most recent Italian translation by Michele Abbate (2019).

The present text traces parallels between the lives, works and receptions of Jacques Derrida and Lucian of Samosata. Basing my theoretical perspective on both literary theory (specially comparative literature) and classical studies, I suggest an approximation between the writing projects outlined by these two authors, highlighting in both of them: a deep respect for tradition in their readings, including their care for the singularity of the works; the same intention of returning to classical texts, in order to remove the patina of time; a common desire for displacement and estrangement from the structures established by convention; the same freedom in using different genres and modalities of discourse in their writings; as well as the discomfort that such characteristics inspire in the most conservative part of their critical fortune. In conclusion, I defend the ethical dimension of the writing projects of these two authors, proposing that some fundamental aspects of the Derridean deconstruction have been taken up and reworked, avant la lettre, in an extremely creative way by Lucian.
