Resumen
Science as a human activity implies specific forms of language production concerning the acquisition and use of scientific knowledge. The language employed in science uses linguistic and communicative resources shown in texts and related to the communication context. Scientific discourse reflects the way language is used in the field of science. University students interact with texts concerning their professional context. Therefore, they should be able to comprehend, to process and construct the information they need through the analysis of the discourse presented in those texts. The objective of this article is to provide foreign language teachers with a tool (dimensions and indicators) for the analysis of the scientific discourse in the context of technical sciences based on the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach. This tool will allow teachers to instruct students in the analysis of texts related to their profession taking into account what it is said (concepts, categories, theories, etc.), how it is said (organization of the information, textual typology) and where it is said (context). This procedure will allow students to use the language as a means of interaction and social interrelation to satisfy the communicative needs that their professional context requires.

Despite the development achieved by humankind, much remains to be done so that the use of technologies contributes to personalize learning through the use of games. It is necessary to count on teachers who are eager to use student-centered teaching methods that motivate them to employ Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for the benefit of their ownlearning. The impact of the pandemic has promoted the use of Learning Management Systems (LMS) as educational technologies capable of bringing the classroom closer to home. Among the different LMS, Moodle is characterized by being open source, offering multiple options to teachers for working with students at distance and having a high level of support thanks to its community. The results achieved in the use of gamification in education have redirected the efforts of teachers to increasingly integrate the elements provided by games in the teaching-learning process. Moodle platform has not been left behind in providing forms or complements that allow the game design techniques to be applied in the activities and coursesdesigned. However, there are criteria supporting that Moodle does not have the ability to gamify its courses. Precisely, the objective of this article is to analyze and demonstrate the capabilities of the Moodle platform to integrate one of the trends with the greatest impact on young generations: the gamification of education.

The Technological University of Havana has the mission of training an engineer that meets the expectations demanded by the economy of the country. The general objectives of the program of the Preparation for the Defense discipline state: “toconstruct in the students a vision concerning the security and national defense and their role as professionals… When developing the discipline by the teachers of the Military Teaching Department in this institution, it has been confirmed through class observations, revision of previous exams, as well as the results of the students that the professors elaborate the evaluations without consulting the objectives of the career and the discipline, resulting in conceptual inaccuracy in their formulation and the contextualization with the profession. The objective of this article is to present results related to the implementation of evaluations corresponding to intellectual skills that allow achieving the professionalization of the discipline in the career by giving answers to questions which include situations that can be solved putting into practice the knowledge, abilities and values acquired through the discipline. The results of the students’ evaluations as well as the answers given to the stated situations evidenced their better understanding of the relation between the subject and their professional performance and how their specialty can contribute to the preparation of the economy for the country defense.

Resumen
Faced with the difficulties observed in designing programs that are coherently related to the curricula modeled for the career, the need to study curricular theory arises. This paper is aimed at validating the methodology proposed as a way of implementing the evaluation model of the relationships between the meso and micro levels of the curriculum, as asolution given to the scientific problem of a research carried out at the Technical University of Manabí. Among the theoretical level methods, the analytic-synthetic, historical-logical, hypothetical-deductive and modeling stand out. The empirical methods and techniques used were observation, documentary analysis, as well as discussion and review, in its "workshop" form. As main results, the methodology is proposed as a way of implementing the evaluation model, as well as the relationships between the meso and micro levels of the curriculum in higher education. Finally, the pedagogical practice has been enriched by the application of the methodology for the implementation of the proposed model which allowed the validation of the research hypothesis, with excellent results.

At present, it is necessary the use of technologies to support distance learning. In subjects that demand the development of experimental skills, it implies a challenge from the didactic point of view. This paper is aimed at presenting a didacticexperience for achieving the development of laboratory practices in Physics by using the possibilities offered by the Moodle platform. The pedagogical conception followed in the experience favors the combination of activities and resources on the platform to facilitate the collaborative learning with the purpose of incorporating in the Physics teaching-learning process some elements of the socio- cultural approach to guarantee critical group discussions among students themselves as well as amongthe students and the professor. Preliminary results were obtained through the partial implementation of this conception in two laboratory practices with three groups of students (130) including the real experiment, the experimental data processing andthe report of the results to fulfill the objectives of the subject program.

Technology has penetrated all spheres of society, forming an inherent part of it and, basically, one of the biggest changes it has introduced is to facilitate interpersonal communication with through devices as well as quick and instant access to information. The paper presented is the result of a research which allowed identifying the difficulties of CC-PCC officials in their professional activity concerning the use of mobile devices through empirical and theoretical inquiries. In this research, a training strategyfor improving the professional activity of these officials by using mobile devices was proposed. The strategy is also intended for promoting the development of basic competences to generate an environment of interaction, cooperation and collaboration. Its practical implementation and its validation by experts have made possible to recognize its viability, considering current requirements.

The Policy for Improving the English Language Training Process for Cuban higher education students establishes the accreditation of level A2 in English, as one of the requirements to be met by students to graduate from higher education, as described by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Therefore, when entering the university, they take an exam to determine the degree of knowledge they have and place them at the corresponding levels, to certify the required level or work to achieve it, through courses taught by the professors of the Language Center, as one of the ways to do so. One of the main reasons why students do not reach level A2, as found when analyzing the results of the exams administered at Cujae in 2018 and 2019, is related to listening comprehension. The objective of this work is to refer to the difficulties that students face in listening comprehension and to offer strategies to favor the improvement of this skill. The use of listening strategies in the teaching-learning process carried out in the groupswhere the Policyis implemented, has madepossible for students to achieve a better comprehension of what they listen to. This will contribute to attainbetter results in the accreditation of the language level A2 of engineering students.

Resumen
In this article, the training of Higher Education graduates from the Computer Sciences career concerning the information literacy in the preparation for employment stage is studied. An analysis of the requirements to work with the graduates, mainly with those who are linked to teaching during this stage is carried out. Theoretical and empirical methods were used namely,the inductive-deductive analysis, the analysis and synthesis, the systematization, the scientific observation, the documentary study among others, which have facilitated to reach definite conclusions as a result of this research. These results were decisive for a full training of the graduates who are linked to teaching and computerization of society at the university andallowed to literate them in relation to essential aspects of their training process such as the management of information and knowledge to achieve a better professional performance.

The Preparation for the Defense discipline is structured as a complex frame of educational, investigative and beyond the classroom activities to achieve the comprehensive education of university students. To accomplish this purpose, academic, educational, scientific, methodological, organizational and administrative aspects are combined through the methodological work to encourage the professionalization of the pedagogical process. The influence of this discipline on the professional profile of engineers and architects hasbeen analyzed in the scientific and methodological activities at the department. This paper is aimed at identifying the aspects of The Preparation for the Defense teaching –learning process that contribute to the comprehensive education of engineers and architects at CUJAE based on teachers’ pedagogical experience. As a result, the dialectical relation among the objectives of the discipline, the modes and spheres of action of the engineers and architects are shown.
