Resumen
The goal of this article is to propose a theoretical-methodological design in order to develop a comparative, critical, and complex discourse analysis between the Chilean and the Peruvian press: news published in the newspapers “La Cuarta” and “Ajá”, respectively. Due to the complex nature of the intercultural relationships between both countries, a matrix centred on a journalistic CDA will be applied as methodological strategy. This, in turn, will bring together the concrete results of each of the recurrent news in both media. In a second stage, and following the methodological grounds of CDA, a critical and complex discourse analysis (CCDA) will be posed enabling a comparative tool of complex matrix which will allow weighing against the differences and similarities yielded by the aforementioned newspapers.

Resumen
Galician online media hardly ever use social web tools or added value services. The elements more used are the news order by email, the chance of printing contents, the RSS feeds and the possibility of changing the letters size. They are very limited too the chance of visualizing news on PDF and the newspaper library resource, proving that most of Galician online media have even a long way to cover for taking advantage of Internet news possibilities. In spite of actual situation, online media responsibles declare that they bet on information on line and they think about social web like an opportunity to change the journalist model started some years ago thanks to Internet.

Resumen
This article is a synthesis of extensive research by the author and funded by Blanquerna Faculty ofCommunication. This paper analyzes the discourse of some journalists and media on the Proposition of Law Statute of the professional journalist from a normative perspective. To this end, we have used two main techniques: content analysis and a rhetorical one. The research, of a qualitative nature, pays particular attention to the arguments and the implicit ones underlying them. The analysis reveals the depth of differences, to the point where we can talk about opposing views and attitudes on the issue.

Resumen
This article denies the possibility of finding a scientific methodology for the analysis of research texts published in the media. In reaching this conclusion we have analyzed existing methodologies for the study of these texts as well as some examples where it is recorded the difficulties of finding a scientific methodology that allows us to clearly state that we have a research text. How can we tell whether or not we have a text under investigation when the media tend to present as what investigations are only conducted by a source leaks interested?

Resumen
The aim of this article is examine the characteristics of newsrooms’ organization of Catalan local media as a part of media convergence. Data was obtained from a survey distributed among media members of the Catalan Association of Local Newspapers, with a response rate of 45%, and 19 in-depth interviews with journalists and managers of 8 media groups. Companies were selected taking into account a wide range of variables: geographical distribution, periodicity, circulation, etc. Results show media convergence does not mean newsroom integration, but media groups usually develop some kind of integrated production. Formulas developed by media are diverse, with different levels of integration.

Resumen
This work describes the analysis and evaluation of the journalistic treatment that mass media devote to Women’s International Day. This study focuses on six points. The results of all of them, this is the conjunction of qualitative and qualitative characteristics together with the effects produced by selection of the journalistic agenda or the effects produced by publicity or humour allow the know the position of women within the everyday national written press. The conclusions and their interpretations is the space for discussion: if the place occupied by women is the deserved space or if on the contrary this place should be occupied by women every single day in the year either as an emergent item or one regular and stable one.

Resumen
The political talk show has turned into a successful audio-visual genre in Spain. Nevertheless, it doesn`t contribute effectively to the public debate, due to its scant plurality of opinions. The political talk shows seem to be ruled by the ideological bias of the networks, instead of an honest will to analyze the political and social current affairs. Only the public media avoid this general handicap: they have become the last redoubt of plurality in the Spanish audio-visual media system.
