This paper describes some conclusions from a study conducted to research issues in families to balance their working and private life. We analyze the women's speech on the role played by profitable work in the configuration of their identity and issues derived from of trying to balance it with their family life. By means of discussion groups, the research study concludes that women that work are satisfied with their employment. Nevertheless, they also recognize they have much trouble in balance work and private life. Likewise, it confirms that employment choices of women are conditioned by maternity. Presence of children in their life is the main reason put forward by women to reduce or eliminate workload and time.

The working women’s image during the first post war years is analyzed, from 1945 until the arrival of television (1954) as shown in the Italian cinematographic news reels. A quantitative and qualitative analysis of the news featuring working women is made, and the types of professional activities which are normally linked to them and they way they are portrayed are established. This visual representation is contextualized in the legal framework related to the working situation, created by the government of the chosen period. This way, we can compare the image offered by the cinematographic news with the reality of the working Italian women. It is shown that the period’s cinema offered an idealized vision of the women’s working conditions and granted women a secondary role inside the news‘s priorities.

Resumen
At the moment in Spain, two readings of mobbing coexist. The first one situates the psychopathological profile of the pursuer as main factor of harassment. The second one conceptualizes mobbing as a problem of work organization. Trough two case studies we contrast the explanatory capacity of each of these models, and we conclude that although they contribute towards explaining the cases, both of them leave some basic aspects without explanation, therefore, it would be necessary the elaboration of a new theoretical model with greater explanatory power.

In this text we explore the first theoretical systematizations in Spain of employment regulation which took place at the beginning of the 20th century, focusing on the aspects considered to be important in them, the conceptions or arguments of their authors, their intellectual origins and the contributions they made. In Spain, very little analysis of this type has been carried out. The text addresses, first, criticisms of the regulation of relations between employers and workers as privately constituted; second, the systematization of social policies; third, proposals for a new social constitution; and finally, trade union alternatives to face the growing tendency toward the concentration of capital (with all its consequences).

The paper presents some results of doctoral thesis " Time, work and well-being: an approximation from everyday life ". The main aim is to analyze from a qualitative approach how changes in working time affect everyday life. Empirical findings show that working time model changes from a golden cage to a hazardous freedom.
