Resumen
Cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) of the craniofacial structure has demonstrated its usefulness in the dental area during the last decades, thus it has become a fundamental tool in the diagnosis, planning, and evaluation of treatment, and although it was not developed for the exclusive use in dentistry, as it is commonly considered, it is used in other areas such as medicine. It is specifically used in the head and neck area where different medical specialties interact, and at the same time these interact with dental specialties, so knowing the advantages of CBCT over different imaging technologies in the medical area is necessary. The purpose of this review was to describe the applications of observation, diagnosis, planning, and evolution of treatments using maxillofacial HSCT in different medical specialties. This work highlights the use of TCHC in different medical applications and highlights where it is most useful compared to other technologies.

Resumen
Formative research together with scientific teaching production are very early ways of teaching the research process, which implies the research culture that must be established from the undergraduate level, taking into account its purpose, which is the dissemination of knowledge generated through scientific publication, for which it must seek to overcome the main obstacles that faculty scientific production presents. In the Peruvian universities that teach dentistry, formative research has been promoted to strengthen future research in the field of health sciences, being the faculty scientific production of utmost importance for the contribution to the advancement of science and implication of the students with that cause. The aim of this paper is to reflect on some aspects of faculty scientific production and formative research in Peruvian dental schools.

Resumen
The objective of this research was to compare the solvent action of orange oil, eucalyptol and experimental lemongrass oil on gutta-percha cones for cold technique and thermoplastic technique. Methodology: The sample consisted of 80 gutta-percha cones No. 80 Endomedic and F3 ProTaper Universal. The cones were divided into 4 groups (n = 20) according to the type of solvent, and each one was divided into two subgroups (n = 10) according to the exposure time (5 min and 10 min). The cones were immersed in the respective solvent for 5 or 10 minutes. Then, they were washed with 5 ml of alcohol for 5 minutes and rinsed with water. Finally, after drying at room temperature for one hour, the solvent action was recorded in grams (g) of weight loss. The results were analyzed and compared using Tukey's test (p<0.05). Results: The Endomedic cone exposed for 5 min to eucalyptol obtained the lowest average weight (0.0625 ± 0.0009 g), followed by Lemongrass oil (0.0629 ± 0.0003 g) and orange oil (0.0629 ± 0.0010 g), although not a significant difference (p > 0.05) was found between each one. Conclusion: The experimental solvent of Lemongrass, eucalyptol and orange oil presented a similar solvent effect on the guta-percha cone for cold and thermoplastic technique. At a clinical level, the three solvents studied could be used in endodontic retreatment as alternative solutions with a similar solvent effect.

This article aims to analyze the transparency and accountability of public surveillance technologies installed and ma-naged by local and federal governments in Mexico. Based on the qualitative analysis, the transparency expectations that citizens have expressed through requests in the Information Access System and that can be consulted in the Plataforma Nacional de Transparencia are studied. In total, 2,264 applications were systematized and analyzed, which were registered from 2008 to 2021. These expectations of citizen transparency are contrasted with the public information available on the portals of public institutions, to test the research hypothesis that supports that there is a gap between the social needs for transparency in the matter and the accountability of the authorities that exercise surveillance with the use of technologies, and that this also does not respond to the fundamental rights that are potentially violated with this type of device.

Resumen
Most incunabula sine notis printed at Salamanca have traditionally been attributed to the ‘first anonymous printer at Salamanca’, also known as the Printer of Nebrissensis Introductiones latinae (as he appears in ISTC and GW) or to the ‘second anonymous printer at Salamanca’, also known as the Printer of Nebrissensis Gramática (as he appears in ISTC and GW). Other forms of words have also been used. Thanks to María Victoria Varona García’s research, and now that typographical analysis has been carried out using the Proctor-Haebler method, it is possible to identify the two men in charge of these anonymous printing offices. They were Alonso de Porras and Juan de Porras, members of two generations of the same family.

Resumen
From at least 1771 onwards booksellers and printers in Barcelona petitioned the city council to be allowed to change the shop signs advertizing their businesses. They also sought permission to put out signs on wooden boards, etc., and to have counters in the street on which they could advertize their wares. The public promotion of books and new publications bears witness to a new way of advertizing commercial establishments.

Resumen
Cornelio Musso (1511-1574), Bishop of Bitonto, was chosen to open the Council of Trent (1545-1563). This Italian preacher’s sermons were widely known during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Nevertheless, we know only two contemporary translations of them into Spanish, one of which is unpublished. This article researches the origins of this manuscript and analyzes the reasons why it was never sent to a printer by its owner, the first Count of Gondomar (1567-1626).

Resumen
This article analyzes the frontispieces of books printed in New Spain between 1605 and 1643. Its main contribution is to highlight the quality of the frontispiece as an artistic composition and as an integral element of the structure of books published in New Spain. It shows artistic creativity to be part of intellectual discourse during the first half of the seventeenth century.
