The research was directed towards the process of chess sports initiation during the period of general basic training, with the objective of characterizing this process from psycho-pedagogical criteria during the teaching-learning of the basic elements of this sport discipline; therefore, its importance lay in the contribution to the special didactics of chess, by giving it a formative, contextualized and logical sequential character in search of the general basic training of schoolchildren from an integral educational approach. In addition, from the theoretical renovation, it is possible to conceive a dialectic and global sport initiation in order to enable the schoolchildren and educator to acquire resources such as knowledge, skills and attitudes

Mexico is an active territory in the autonomic struggles for self-government. It is a consolidated trend that has won rights at electoral courts, since 2011. In the last decade six indigenous municipalities that have won the right to choose their municipal authority through their Own Normative System: Cherán, Michoacán (2012); Ayutla de los Libres, Guerrero (2019); Oxchuc, Chiapas (2019); and three in the state of Morelos in 2021: San Miguel Peras; La Trinidad Vista Hermosa, and Magdalena Yodocono de Porfirio Díaz. In addition to the 417 municipalities in the state of Oaxaca, that already elect their municipal representatives without political parties. This contribution analyzes the case of the municipality of Oxchuc, Chiapas, which in 2017 obtained a ruling in favor to elect its municipal authorities without political parties, and successfully elected them in 2019, but it that was not the case in 2021. Creating algorithms at the university is the first step to introduce the student to computer programming. A skill crucial to consider since various investigations have reported that many times the student has shown poor academic performance in these courses due to the complexity of the contents, because they do not have something tangible to test the algorithm and because solving problems requires effort, creativity, and other skills. This research focused on the subject of Algorithms of the Tizimín Multidisciplinary Unit in which many students fail to achieve the required knowledge, being the academic performance at the end of the course inadequate. It was decided to find out exactly in which subjects the students have problems when creating their algorithms, a situation not analyzed, and once these were determined, they could serve as support for a learning methodology through the Scratch programming language, which has been used to help the student in their academic performance. The research was qualitative, subject to content analysis applied to course performance tests. 1037 items were analyzed obtaining a list of errors and the effectiveness of their use in the courses taught was tested.

The thoughts shared in this essay aim to highlight job insecurity in Higher Education Institutions (HEI) during COVID-19, portraying specifically the work of a teacher. In order to understand how the logic of job insecurity leads to the practice of undermining and minimizing the education professional, it is proposed to reflect on the effects that have occurred since the beginning of the pandemic. Finally, some critical proposals are highlighted to address the labor vulnerability of the teaching community in HEIs, based on the recognition of human, social, economic, and labor rights.

This article presents the analysis of a set of official documents that between 2015 and 2019 introduced digital education in Argentina’s school curriculum. Methodologically, the study constitutes a document analysis, framed in a historical-anthropological educational research approach. The results achieved allow, on the one hand, to locate in the Digital Education curriculum a series of problems linked to the guidelines for digital literacy and, on the other, to put these problems in relation to a body of techno-educational trends at the local and global level. Finally, the article presents a series of alternatives to review the Digital Education curriculum from a situated and historical perspective.

The following work describes the methodology that was used in the elaboration and validation of an instrument designed to evaluate stress and discomfort in professors of a Mexican university. Using the Delphi technique, the development of the instrument was carried out from the perspective of those involved and it was validated by experts. Through three rounds of interaction between the participants, consensus was sought through feedback on their responses. The result was a questionnaire made up of four sections: 1) personal and professional information, 2) Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI-ES) scale adapted to the educational context, 3) scale of determinants of teacher stress and discomfort, and 4) scale of job satisfaction. By applying the instrument to a sample of 46 teachers, the validity and reliability of each scale was obtained, which in the case of the MBI-ES was 0.62, the scale of sources of stress and teacher discomfort was 0.97 and in the scale of sources of job satisfaction a value of 0.91 was obtained; it was conclude that the three scales have technical validity of 0.93 by Cronbach’s Alpha.
