Resumen
This article studies the illustrations of the game of Filosofía cortesana (Courtly philosophy) accompanying the 1587 Madrid edition. The existence of these images was not heretofore known, although a 1588 Venice edition has recently been discovered with a representation of the gameboard. The article includes a review of scholarship to date on this topic as well as a letter documenting familiarity with the Game of the Goose in the Spanish court in the years prior to the publication of the edition by Barros.

Resumen
From the death of Charles II to the settling of the War of Succession in favor of Philip, certain ideological tendencies left their trace on the ephemeral iconography of the sepulchral monuments of Charles II and the father of Philip V, which were commissioned by the City of Granada. The dangerous indecisiveness about whether or not to support Philip, in the early moments, led to wasteful overspending in the printing of the descriptive brochure of the sepulchral monument of the latter, which in turn resulted in an extraordinary number of engravings. Especially interesting are the hieroglyphs, the main contribution of this study.

Resumen
Antonio Pisano, llamado il Pisanello, y Enrique Giner son dos de los más destacados medallistas que ha dado el arte. Además, ambos exploraron la capacidad estilística y simbólica del arte de la medalla trabajando, entre sus muchos encargos, sobre un personaje común de extraordinaria importancia en la historia valenciana: Alfonso el Magnánimo. El primero en pleno Renacimiento, y el segundo durante el pasado siglo XX, supieron reflejar distintos carices del monarca en función de lo que demandaban sus patronos y, sobre todo, su propia época. El presente estudio explora los caminos estéticos e iconográficos que ambos autores tomaron en dicha representación e intenta indagar su trasfondo ideológico.
