O objetivo do estudo foi delinear e interpretar o uso tradicional de plantas medicinais utilizadas para a manutenção da saúde da mulher em suas diferentes fases. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão integrativa de artigos publicados entre os anos de 2011 e 2021 nos bancos de dado da ScienceDirect, LILACs e ARCA (Fiocruz), em todos os idiomas, utilizando os descritores “gynecology” e “medicinal plants”, combinados pelo operador booleano AND, seguindo as recomendações PRISMA. Foram incluídos 24 artigos na revisão por preencherem os critérios de inclusão e responderem aos objetivos do estudo. Estudos etnobotânicos de todo o mundo, foram considerados para gerar a identificação e um padrão de frequência na utilização de plantas que são cultivadas em nosso país. Como resultados obtidos a partir da análise, verificou-se 1208 citações de plantas utilizadas através do conhecimento de parteiras, curandeiras, fitoterapeutas, homens e mulheres. Destas citações aproximadamente 116 eram relacionadas a 51 plantas que são cultivadas também em solo brasileiro e foram descritas segundo seu nome popular, nome cientifico, parte utilizada e indicações mediante o uso tradicional. Conclui-se que dentro de um contexto biocultural, o uso tradicional de plantas por mulheres deve ser pesquisado, compreendido, compilado e divulgado para que haja manutenção do reconhecimento e valorização cultural e, como sugerem as políticas vigentes, que seja acrescido de conhecimentos, por parte dos profissionais de saúde que atuam diretamente com a população, sobre características que garantam a qualidade do uso dessas plantas.

This article analyzes the forms of violence in the novel Triste Fim de Policarpo Quaresma, by Lima Barreto (published in English as The Patriot and Sad End of Policarpo Quaresma), through the Lacanian materialism proposed by Slavoj Žižek. The methodological process of construction of this research followed the path of selection and review of the bibliography from the readings and studies of printed and digital works that provided the essential data for the construction of the text. As this is a qualitative research, we reached for the readings of Lacanian Literature and Materialism, bringing elements of Philosophy and Sociology in order to complement the specific approach, aiming to investigate the relationship between world, people, events and places, in their forms of social and literary representation. The text presents data on the work of Lima Barreto, highlighting the literary aspects that reflect the behavior and tensions of a country that had become independent and democratic, although not transposing such concepts to everyday practices. Among the various conceptions of violence, we chose those postulated by Žižek (2014) to explain how subjective and objective violence - systemic and symbolic - appears as consequences of power relations between classes in the political and social scenario presented by the narrative of the character Policarpo Quaresma. Research indicates that violence in Policarpo Quaresma is associated with man and society, and that the subjective, systemic and symbolic forms not only maintain the structure of the narrative but also accounts for searching for the meaning of existence that depicts the character.

This article aims to analyze the characters Isaías Caminha and Gonzaga de Sá, both protagonists of the novels Recordações do Escrivão Isaías Caminha (1998) and Vida e morte de M. J. Gonzaga de Sá (1997), by the pre-modernist writer Lima Barreto, through the lens of Lacanian Materialism proposed by the Slovenian philosopher and critic Slavoj Žižek. Initially, we present the author and a brief view of the literary movement to which he is linked. As it is a relatively new trend in Brazil, we emphasize that Lacanian Materialism, previously linked to political philosophy, gradually advances and reaches the area of ​​cultural studies, through the proposal of reading literary texts from the application of Lacan's concepts proposed by Žižek. This critic's proposal is to intervene in political discourse because he believes that it can affect people's ideas and help social changing. In this perspective, the objective of this article is to apply the concepts of  the real, the symbolic and the imaginary, in a brief analysis of the two characters (Isaías Caminha and Gonzaga de Sá) to explain how these concepts provide a directive on the possible relationship between what Žižek says about current issues and what can be applied to the reality of the novels under study. Our research attests to the relevance of Lima Barreto's works, since his characters represent the human being as a social organism conditioned to historical and literary conceptions, which allows our analysis in the light of a contemporary theory.  

The teaching-learning of reading in early childhood education is a key factor for a good educational development of children, especially with regard to reading practices with a view to living in society. Given the above, the work described here is a Systematic Review of Literature (RSL), which selected and analyzed works that addressed the reading formation of students in the 5th year of Elementary School I. For that, we chose to carry out a search on the CAPES Platform, as well as the choice of master's level research carried out in the last five years. In addition to the previously organized keywords, we created some guiding questions, namely: how has reading practices been carried out in elementary school I in the last 5 years within the national territory?; which genres predominate when it comes to working with reading for elementary school students?; and what are the results obtained at the end of the investigations? As a result, we evidence a still small number of researches that discuss the theme, as well as the fact that these researches focus on the development of the reading competence of the students not only with a focus on reading within the school, but beyond the walls of the institutions. through the use of different textual genres.

Introduction: The child's development is given by the acquisition of skills in several areas, being dependent on the quality of the stimuli received and the systems of the human body. Both intrinsic factors to the child and external factors can cause PMDN, so it is essential to monitor growth and development at the primary level, as it is the user's gateway to the health system. From this, it is possible to identify early if there is any change and thus intervene, indicating PE. Objective: To discuss the results of the literature about the actions and activities of PE carried out in PHC. Method: SCIELO, PUBMED, PEDRO, LILACS and MEDLINE databases and the terms Primary Health Care and Early Stimulation (Early Stimulation) were used as descriptors associated with the Boolean operator “AND”. Results: 42 articles were obtained, remaining 2 articles after the inclusion and exclusion steps. Conclusion: It is necessary to encourage the realization of PE in PHC and the scientific production on the subject, suggesting the realization of field research to know the current reality.

The use of statistical methods for forecasting demand helps managers in decision making, especially when it is necessary to carry out production planning. Therefore, it is extremely important to know the demand for a particular product, especially when it comes to lines of jobbing production systems in which transforming resources are shared between products. Following this idea, the manufacturing time of the products plays a relevant role both for the production programming to avoid incurring higher costs incurred in storage, obsolescence, among others. In order to overcome these difficulties by providing information on future sales of the product to the decision maker, this work uses time series of demand that were provided by the manufacturer of energy accumulators to forecast the demand for batteries. The study was aided by forecasting methods. Among these methods, the autoregressive integrated time series method – ARIMA – stands out, which was used and evaluated the accuracy of its forecasts. However, it was found that the additive Holt-Winters method presented the best fit for the data of this research. With the application of this methodology, it is expected to contribute to the efficiency of the programming of manufacturing processes.

The research on Literature of Cordel has been standing out for the diversity of new looks about it. However, before this epistemological profusion, there was a watershed in their research, the work "Cordel ideológico de punição" by Fausto Neto (1993). Through a bibliographical study, we will analyze the innovations that this research brought and raised new views about Cordel Literature in Brazil, collaborating even to understand the basic differences between Cordel in Brazil and in Portugal, besides the context that allowed its emergence in the Northeast of Brazil and in every country. The study allowed us to understand that the research of Fausto Neto was a watershed, because, studied the power relations of which the Cordel participated as printed media, corroborating the plastering of the existing power structures.  

This paper proposes set about the theoretical contributions of sociologists of the New Economic Sociology (NSE) in an attempt to expand the dialogue interdisciplinary with economic theory, also intends to show its contributions to the area of territorial development. First, the origins of NSE are discussed. Then, we present the criticisms of this current to some principles of economic theory. Next, it exposes the main contributions of some authors, such as Mark Granovetter, Neil Fligstein and Paul DiMaggio. Finally, the importance of these studies for the approach to territorial development is discussed. After appreciating the studies discussed here, we see that the topics dealt with by the NSE confirm the importance of the territorial approach in defining a national development project.

O estudo objetivou descrever o perfil epidemiológico e analisar a tendência e distribuição espacial da ocorrência de meningite em Alagoas, Brasil, no período 2008-2017. Caracteriza-se por ser um estudo ecológico misto envolvendo os casos confirmados de meningite e os óbitos causados pela doença. Os dados foram coletados do SINAN. Foram analisadas variáveis clínico-epidemiológicas e taxas de incidência e letalidade. Para a análise de tendência foi utilizado o modelo de regressão por pontos de inflexão. Na análise espacial foi realizada a suavização pelo modelo bayesiano empírico local, seguida da estatística de Moran global e local. Considerou-se um intervalo de confiança de 95% e significância de 5%. Foram notificados 1365 casos em Alagoas: 59,6% do sexo masculino, 60,7% com até 19 anos e 89,8% pardos. Quanto ao perfil clínico, destacou-se: meningite bacteriana (24,3%), soro grupo Y (14,0%) e diagnóstico pelo quimiocitológico (32,7%). A incidência reduziu de 4,97/100 mil em 2008 para 3,23/100 mil em 2017 (AAPC -7,3%; p<0,001). A taxa de letalidade mostrou tendência de crescimento, passando de 10,3% em 2008 para 15,85% em 2017 (AAPC 4,7%; p<0,001). Concluiu-se que a capital Maceió apresentou a maior concentração de casos notificados (40,7%). As maiores taxas de incidência foram identificadas nos municípios de Marechal Deodoro (36,00/100 mil) e Maragogi (29,63/100 mil). Os municípios prioritários situaram-se na região leste do estado.
