Introduction: The Preparation of Physical Culture students is necessary to facilitate the education of children and the acquisition of ludic skills and capacities, and offer proper family counseling as part of the Program Educate your Child.Aim: To design pedagogic actions based on a ludic approach for Physical Culture students, as part of the Program Educate your Child.Materials and methods: The population of the sample consisted of 41 fourth-year students in the Physical Culture Bachelor Degree, five teachers of the Department of Physical Education Practice, with more than five years of experience, and five promoters of the Program Educate your Child. The theoretical methods used were analysis-synthesis and systemic-structural for action design; the empirical method was observation. Results: Overall, the actions implemented will enable Physical Culture to improve student preparedness to use a ludic approach in the implementation of Program Educate your Child. Conclusions: The pedagogical actions favor a ludic-based training for future work as a program’s promoter, whose implementation was considered feasible and was evaluated as satisfactory.

Introduction: Ludic activities are necessary throughout life, particularly for children and adolescents. Aim: To check the influence of a system of ludic activities on the development of motor skills in children and adolescents. This experimental study relied on quasi experiment that tackles the causal relation between the variables set for this research. Materials and methods: The sample consisted of 30 students in two groups: control and experimental. Results: The practical application showed the contrasts between the post-test and the initial results, thus refusing the null hypothesis, since in every variable, the probability associated with the test statistics underwent significant differences. Conclusions: The ludic activity system suggested for the initial student development is viable, and should be applied in other physical education classes.

Introduction: Optimization of freestyle swimming training is a critical starting point for this sport in life. However, there are still methodological flaws consisting of the integration of ludic activities to the process.Aim: To implement ludic physical activities in freestyle swimming teaching to nine-year-old children.Materials and methods: The methodology relied on methods and techniques, which helped apply the proposal to the sample, with favorable results that corroborated the validity of the proposal. The interpretation of results from the survey was done to design a guide of ludic activities. Results: The results were positive and permitted to corroborate the proposal. The test results were interpreted to measure the impact of ludic activities. It was defined that ludic activities stimulate children to participate actively and flexibly in the process of sports initiation in swimming. Conclusions: The exercises that will be part of the guide should adjust to the various needs of boys and girls, as they develop different learning modes.

This study deals with the need of promoting greater attention of the elderly, using a recreational approach with a view to improve their life quality. A diagnostic revealed the limited variety of recreational choices for this population group, in addition to insufficient orientation of recreational activities according to their likes and preferences, which was associated with their poor engagement in community activities. This research used theoretical, empirical, and statistical methods, which facilitated the collection of data and information necessary to design recreational games for the elderly

Introduction: Basketball today needs parameters for the assessment of technical offensive elements.Aim: To suggest parameters for the assessment of technical offensive elements of 3x3 basketball athletes in the e11-12-year-old category, in Camagüey.Materials and methods: The research methods used were theoretical, empirical, and statistical, which demonstrated the current shortcomings of the assessment process. The parameters were designed according to the practice, from previous experiences, showing a close interrelation to the variables and dimensions, whose universal attributes are objectivity, a systemic character, flexibility, and adaptability, and they are feasible, viable, and valid solutions. Results: The findings of this research coincide with previous studies done by other authors, who suggest multiple assessment variables that condition player tasks and learning one way or another, using a substantial set of pedagogical and organizational variables. Conclusions: The surveyed professionals said that the parameters suggested are a feasible, viable, and valid solutions for the development of technical offensive elements in 3X3 basketball athletes in the 11-12-year-old category, since the introduction of assessment that is based on a system’s approach, integrate into the variables used for assessment, the dimensions suggested, and the way of controlling and assessing.

Introduction: The tactical performance of boxers is critical; it takes into consideration the particularities of each athlete in the sport, especially the three bout distances.Aim: To design exercises to improve the tactical performance of boxers in the adult pre-selection of Camaguey.Materials and methods: The objectives of the adult category were used to design the; the study included 24 boxers of the adult category from the local preselection, in the several divisions established in the Comprehensive Program of Athlete Preparation, and the characteristics of the boxers between 19 and 40.Results: The assessment made by ten users revealed the acceptance and convenience of the system of exercises conforming to their opinions, as they consider it is a valuable methodological tool for coaches in this category. Conclusions: The validation of the system of exercises was checked upon its implementation in educational practice and the application of the initial and final instruments utilized to measure the parameters set during the design stage. This procedure demonstrated the improvements observed in the athletes, in terms of technical-tactical level when the exercise system was applied.

Introduction: Sports in general, and basketball, in particular, have undergone constant changes through the years, both in planning theory and practice due to the different technologies and multiple changes of the different rules of the sport, demanding higher technical, tactical, theoretical, psychological, and physical preparednessAim: To design a methodological strategy for the development of team tactical offensive actions by 3x3 basketball university athletes in Camaguey.Materials and methods: The sample consisted of twelve coaches, directors, and all the athletes. The methods used were theoretical, empirical, and mathematical-statistical.Results: They permitted the methodological strategy to organize its structure by phases, starting with the rationale, then the diagnostic, general objective, planning, testing, and evaluation to distinguish the development of team tactical actions. Conclusions: The methodological strategy suggested is feasible, viable, and valid for the development of team tactical offensive actions by university athletes.

Introduction: One of the tactical factors in handball is to try to gain free space during the game, facilitating the evolution of plays, or keeping ball possession.Aim: To design a training alternative didactics to lose the markers in junior handball players in the municipality of Vertientes.Materials and methods: the population was made of handball players of the two sexes in the municipality of Vertientes. The theoretical methods used relied on logical thinking, whereas the empirical methods included observation and survey, as well as mathematical statistics to determine the empirical distributions of frequency. Results: A didactic alternative was designed, which complements and optimizes the traditional methods and procedures of losing the markers, based on the relationship between the structure of concentric circles of content, the principles, and tactical problems to be considered when attacking, as well as the pedagogical principles. Conclusions: The users considered that the proposal improves the loss of markers, and can be implemented during player initiation.

Introduction: Financial management offers tools that helps interpret facts taking place in the financial world and their effects on companies. It also contributes to recognizing previously irrelevant situations that could bring about serious consequences.Aim: To design an economic-financial strategy that enables sports training management. Materials and methods: The main methods used were the analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, documentary review, interview, to determine the empirical frequency distributions through percentages. Results: The economic-financial strategy distinguishes by its interdependence and synergy relations between the economic-financial indicators, and the indicators for proper sports training management in the area of high-performance.Conclusions: the economic-financial strategy helps facilitate sports training management in high-performance sports, with the interrelation and synergy between the financial indicators and the elements that favor sports training management.

Introduction: The scientific community of taekwondo has made efforts to optimize the talent selection system, but they have failed to enhance the genetic indicators that cannot be changed with sports training.Aim: To design the ratio profile as an indicator during the detection of the genetic potential of taekwondo talents.Materials and methods: the population comprised the Cuban female selection. Theoretical and analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive methods were used, in addition to measurements. The statistical and mathematical methods were included, then, the central trend measurements, and the correlation coefficient were determined. Results: The biological indicators or markers that provide information about the genetic potential, and to differentiate the physical components include the finger-length ratio. Conclusions: the ratio profile can be used to detect talents during the selection process, which the users considered a viable proposal.
