This article brings up Islam perspective towards life. Islam is not presented as an "illustrated" religion and vanguardof European "rational" history, nor, by defect, as an "assault" towards the contemporary liberal values of toleranceand democracy. Rather, it is considered in relation to bioethics, in which the questioni ng about the problem of technologyis fundamental. Is it of interest to situate Islam as a specific "anthropotechnia", that is as a gathering of forces that makespossible the "transformation of human animal into man". An "anthropotecnia" perspective means to reflect in the forceswhich, in Islam, make possible human governing.

This essay suggests an analytical approach to the functional relationship kept between the State and private initiative, and society in Mexico, using social security as a coordination core. The study sets out a two period existence in this relationship dynamics, “welfare” stage and “poliarchy” stage. The document gives emphasis to how the Mexican State has looked for reaching legitimacy in front of society and enterprises through the exercise of values and democratic practices that have turned into different assurance models. This work includes three segments. In the first one, the origin of state assurance and how it was carried out into practice through the presidential regime. Subsequently, neoliberal transformations are examined, as well as their impacts on social security mechanics. Al last, an analysis based on empirical information is presented towards obtaining conclusions around Mexican citizens’ medical protection facing the risk used as analysis category of the population percentage included in health protection and equal opportunities to gain access into health services.

So called “subject recurrence” plays and important role in contemporaneous subjectivity reconfiguration, not only in the mediate horizon, but also regarding academicals research and artistic experimentation. Different voices, reveling biographical traces, personality features or oneself experience prints populate the most diverse significant spaces, not only within canonical genres (biographies, autobiographies, life stories, memories) also in the “subjective documentaries” “reality fictions” or traumatic memory testimonies. Regarding the last Argentinean dictatorship (1976-1983) there is an autobiographical narrative proliferation, testimonies and documentaries. Among them it stands captive women’s stories inside concentration camps. We have chosen three samples regarding this subject, interfered by gender experience: a doctoral thesis written in exile, a five survived women dialogue published as a book and a novel with a sort of “autobiographical” pretension, whose author was outside the camp. Our goal is to show, form a semiotic cultural perspective, the ethic, esthetic and political differences that emerge from each peculiar enunciatively voice construction, related to each one of the discursive genders involved.

Through a critical analysis of seven documentaries considered among the most important produced in Latin America in the last quarter of the century, this essay proposes showing the diverse manifestations from a new gender variant: personal and subjective movie documentary. Emphasis is placed on the Object-Subject negotiation, that seems to be identified as a unique entity, or it is placed within a close “family” area. The second emphasis is placed regarding these two entities (Subject-Object,) negotiation with the spectator or receptor, which represents, in his turn, society and its cultural, social and ideological dimensions.

Others memory rescue states the historian’s fundamental task in an effort to fight oblivion forms, uses and abuses. Therefore, a task is established to safeguard individual and social memory. Memory-history binomial, placed in time and space, define the rescue work of life stories, in order to make up a heuristic body that contributes to the hermeneutic process. Starting form an oral story methodology, it claims stimulating individuals to freely remember, in order to impinge on and propitiate biographical accounts that will permit the construction of diverse stories. Historian and informant establish a particular relationship. Subjectivity and partiality are recognized, without damaging the analysis process and the interpretation due to definite historical work. It is pretended, as a result, more than a scientific story, the construction of diverse stories that recover everyday life, individual and collective forms of thought and action, separated from political and official interests that could regulate or determine official stories, imposed by power.
