This work tries to communicate scientific tradition idea in Thomas Kuhn considering three main characteristics, without them, the author’s image regarding scientific work would not be understood: a) tension facing innovation development, b) scientific or research practice idea, and c) immensurable notion as a result of the relationship between convergent and diverging logic, between community and consensus. It deals with arguing that once tradition is proposed as an element that permits scientific change, the author refers such unities as constituent of tradition, and its correspondent function towards scientific progress. It will be observed that, unlike the idea of rupture as a device permitting scientific advance, due to its correspondence to the revolution principle, Kuhn is thinking that what supports every change stage, transformation or paradigmatic breaking point, is a research tradition strong referent.

This article suggests that social field and habitus (as proposed by Pierre Bourdieu) constitute a promising theoretical frame in order to understand social actors participation, which are vital regarding environmental matters and, especially, in order to explore the social meaning of environmental right and its application. It is also suggested that the environmental field is a social space where different habitus related to environment enter in conflict. Most of all, visionary and pragmatic dispositions, respectively, bring to environmental debate different attitudes and different world points of view. Nevertheless, when it deals with environmental law”s application, in a restraining way, the field itself reorganizes around two other dispositions: the punitive and the restrictive.

The following article wishes to recover, in general terms, a series of methodological problems related to the classical social change theme, relatively separated from theoretical discussion within social sciences since the middle eight hundred nine years. For this matter, we start from the assumption that socio historic conditions are given in order to reach legitimacy in that category critical revision, mainly starting from the present global economic crisis and the need to find answers to the historical development problem. We will approach the problematic link between social change and theory, in order to explore, in a preliminary way, a critical conceptual relationship: which binds the idea of social change to a determination or social determination matter, and as a result, with the arduous social causative quarrel.

The following article is an analysis about biographical childhood texts incorporation in Chile. From a cultural view and trying to gather the scarce critical tradition around this kind of writing in Latin America, it proposes an interpretation regarding the late childhood expression as a time and space memory and subjectivity. Following our own reading, this could be explained by the strong Latin-American political mark on this literature and the autobiographical and secretarial aristocratic origin, linked to public life and urged to register their writings on national history, up to the middle of the century. The lack of childhood, or its elusive, and sometimes anecdotic representation, would have relationship with illuminist and positive speeches predominance between these authors; their appearance, to the slow fissure of these speeches and the incorporation of new actors on the national literary field, arriving from middle sectors or discriminated for their sexual gender, for those who would have less objections picturing that precise life moment in a more intimate and comprehensive way, trying to demand surpassing and personal worthy stories many times.

This text analyzes two feminine autobiographies under a new gender reading vision. These are  La casa de los Conejos (The rabbit house) (Laura Alcoba) and  Sueño con menguante, Biografía de una “machi” Dream on the wane. A “machi” Biography. (Sonia Montecinos). The article pretends answering  the following questions: ¿Who tells the story: the one who lived  passed events or the one who remembers them? ¿Where exactly does he  speak from? ¿Under which conditions is the text generated, and what is expressed in this format and final content? ¿Which are the central biographical moments from which the passed imaginary relationship is reconstructed? ¿How is the narrative identity built, spread in split personality diversity between the writer, the narrator and the character presented? ¿What is the silence role in this identity construction? ¿Which is the “posteriori” meaning given to recreated experiences, which only have a meaning assumed by the author? ¿How is the autobiographical account filtered by subjectivity –the present one– and, fundamentally the imaginary relationship between the writer and his past?

Memory and oblivion collaborate in the life image composition of an author who, starting from his autobiographical profile enters into society through the interaction of historical account exactitude and the effort to overturn his own life experience in a model whose characteristics he tries to individualize. The testimonial work of the Spanish historian nationalized Chilean Leopoldo Castedo (Madrid, 1915-1999) offers the key that allows understanding the troubled plot within the individual and collective self and the dynamic that permits ego auto construction. In this way, written word value reconstructs historical and political life organization marked by ideas and concepts activities. This work pretends exploring objective situations that place the author in the best sociohistorical context comprehension from his vital path. Recognizing that the actual world demands past and memory in order to  survive and discover historical prints on current processes, the author-individual recreates a continuity sense that grants coherence and meaning to his own existence, without disregarding initiated negotiations with others.

A brief study regarding first person narratives published by Brazilian writers in the last decade letting us observe a suggestive auto fiction presence, ambiguous genre where author and narrator, life and fiction categories, are mixed in an unutterable way. Having as a reference biographical space (Leonor Arfuch) notion and “subjective turn” (Biatriz Sarlo), we developed, through the analysis of different works, hypothesis regarding a contemporary, always in process  , identity conception
