The study focused on determining the internal control strategies that allow improvement in billing management in commercial and artisanal microenterprises in the Portoviejo canton in order to carry out an analysis based on the results obtained. Due to this, methods were applied through non-experimental research with a mixed approach (qualitative/quantitative); For this, data collection tools such as the survey and the semi-structured interview were applied; the resulting sample for its implementation was made up of a total of 68 microentrepreneurs. The results showed the main internal control strategies adopted by commercial and craft microenterprises, among which are billing processes, Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) and process control.

The main objective of this study is the identification of CSR strategies implemented by the recycling micro-enterprises of the El Carmen canton in order to carry out an analysis of their application and how the waste management processes are. For this, a descriptive methodology was applied based on a qualitative approach, in relation to information collection instruments, the survey and the semi-structured interview were used, the population was made up of a total of 16 collaborators of the recycling microenterprises to survey effects; and for the interview, it was conducted with the managers of the “YO RECICLO” Microenterprise and the “STEPHANNY” Recycling Microenterprise. The results showed a certain level of ignorance of CSR on the part of the workers, in the same way the strategies applied and the processes carried out by the companies in the treatment of waste were identified.

The shrimp sector represents the main non-oil item in economic importance for Ecuador. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the critical factors of quality management in the frozen shrimp industry for export in the province of Manabí. For this purpose, a non-experimental and cross-sectional investigation was implemented through a bibliographic and field study, implementing a survey of producers and exporters, as well as an interview with an expert in the sector. Among the main findings, It was found that the Manabi shrimp industry strives to comply with current commercial and health standards in international markets and with quality standards as a means of access to said destinations despite the high costs required. The main factors that affect the quality of shrimp for export are sanitary aspects, legal protocols, technological requirements, infrastructural and logistical limitations and poor quality of natural resources and labor used in the production process. As a final conclusion, a comprehensive proposal is required in which the public sector intervenes through a package of commercial, economic, tariff and legal policies that benefit the sector, improving the entrepreneurial environment in order to sustain the Manabi and Ecuadorian shrimp industry.

The current world is still in a health, social, and of course economic emergency, with a high level of uncertainty, many economies are closed and paralyzed, there are still quarantines and restrictions. Covid-19 has challenged the global socioeconomic system and in the same way Ecuadorian companies, which, because of the pandemic, have had to rethink their business model, mainly applying digital strategies, and the use of digital platforms for their transactions. commercial and the acquisition of goods and services with safe mechanisms and efficient tools, which causes a search for new strategies to balance their activities. Through a bibliographic review, this article aims to have a global and national vision of the evolution of digital platforms and their impact on the marketing of post-pandemic goods and services. Now, due to the ease of cost and accessibility, the trend is to take advantage of electronic transactions and digital technology to guarantee production, sustain the demand for goods and services, and avoid the paralysis of supply chains and their operations. It is concluded that the use and exploitation of virtual resources such as websites and mobile applications guarantee security in transactions, commercial interaction, and management in the management of multimedia digital objects, setting a positive impact on the way of doing business and the commercialization of goods and services.

The government audit is essential for the economic development, the industrial complexity and the globalization of the economy, helping to verify and analyze the strict compliance with the recommendations resulting from the previous audits, the work was developed with the purpose of knowing operational controls through the execution of the government audit, carried out by the Provincial Government of Manabí, through the qualitative paradigm, emphasizing the follow-up reports and compliance with the recommendations made by the Internal Audit Directorate in based on the special exams, in which a documentary design was used with primary sources, laws and regulations of the Provincial Government of Manabí together with the approved reports found in the General Comptroller of the State, taking the ethnographic method as applied, which consisted of interviews to servers immersed in the processes of audits and control time. Regarding the information collection techniques, it was developed based on the conclusions and recommendations of the special exams and approved reports, to which the researcher takes as a reference the weighting of ranges, risk calculation and proposed confidence levels. in the General Manual of Government Audit of the General Comptroller of the State, it was possible to obtain as a result that the institution presents a moderate level of trust and a low level of risk, but even so, it must take precautions in the area of ​​​​Human Talent, in addition not the respective constant follow-ups are carried out that allow knowing the conditions of the company

In the present work, we seek to know the actions, challenges and limitations in the management of social media to attract new clients and advisors, guaranteeing the expansion of the sales channels of cosmetic products of Yanbal microentrepreneurs in the province of Manabí. For which a qualitative and quantitative analysis was carried out through the application of interviews and surveys, identifying that at present the use of social networks is an important part of digital marketing strategies and tools, and has led microentrepreneurs to eliminate barriers. zoning, take self-education actions and train with professionals; overcome challenges and reach a high level of followers.   Concluding that social media contributes effectively in attracting new customers, as well as increasing sales for microentrepreneurs and for Yanbal. Keeping in mind that personalized and face-to-face sales still play a leading role.

Nowadays, several companies face the challenge of finding and applying new production methods that allow them to compete in a global market. Lean Manufacturing (LM) methodologies have become an option that adapts to different situations in the industry, providing an alternative to put an end to waste, optimizing processes and increasing profits, therefore, the objective of this research is determine the level of understanding and application of Lean principles in the elimination of waste through a systematic review of the literature on the possible adoption of these methodologies in small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises (SMEs). Scopus, ScienceDirect, Web of Science, Scielo, Redalyc, Dialnet and Dimensions were searched. Prospective and retrospective studies were selected according to inclusion and exclusion criteria. Twenty-five studies were meta-analyzed, which sought to answer the question: How does the design of lean production systems affect the management of moulting in SMEs? Concluding that a conceptualization framework of LM is fundamental for the management of active resources of small and medium-sized companies for its correct application. In addition, it focuses on significantly minimizing losses from manufacturing systems while maximizing value creation for the end customer.

In health services, interpersonal attention is a priority, through this aspect the fulfillment of the user's expectations and level of satisfaction with respect to quality service received is identified. The objective of the study is to evaluate the quality of the outpatient service in the ESP level II in the city of Portoviejo. The research was carried out with a quantitative approach, descriptive type, with a non-experimental - cross-sectional design. A stratified sample was considered and a survey was applied to 315 users through the SerQual instrument, which consists of five dimensions of quality such as: tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results show that group with the highest prevalence was female (60%), single marital status (41.6%) and age group 21 to 30 years (28.3%). In general, users responded neutrally regarding health services. In dimensions of tangibility, responsiveness and empathy showed total neutrality; while, reliability revealed neutrality and disagreement, as well as security, neutrality and satisfaction. There is a low rate of patients satisfied with quality service received; this is because of shortcomings found, such as dating unavailability, cumbersome paperwork and lack of speed in internal attention. The greatest satisfaction in the care received was found in safety dimension.

This research aims to know the applicability of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in companies that develop their activities with non-renewable resources (mining of aggregates for construction). This research will contribute to the analysis of this subject at the local level since there is not enough information in reference to companies under this business model. For this, the self-diagnosis instrument developed by the Chihuahuan business foundation FECHAC will be used. In addition, it seeks to know the perception of senior management about the competitive advantages that CSR provides to these companies that develop in the mining of aggregates for construction. To achieve these objectives, a case study of the company MEGAROK S.A located in the province of Manabí was carried out. A quantitative-qualitative analysis was developed to find a correlation of the variables studied in this research. It should be noted that it is necessary to develop a CSR measurement instrument that is applicable to local companies under this business model.

The present study evidences the analysis of social networks and the incidence that it has in the process of internationalization of SMEs in the city of Machala through statistical evaluations in SPSS software, the objective of the investigation was based on studying through an investigative model the relational significance of the objective variables of the investigation, a quantitative methodological structure with correlational scope was used, in a sample of 50 SMEs from the city of Machala in the process of internationalization. As a result of the study, answers were obtained that differ from the hypotheses, thus understanding the behavior of business strategies and how social networks affect these processes, unexpected evaluations were obtained, concluding that the management of social networks is underdeveloped and they work as a complement to very well managed marketing strategies.
