The narrative space of Le médianoche amoureux by Michel Tournier is organized around the relation of doubles and couples. In this short story collection the author asks himself about the nature and performance scope of the literary oral word. On the one hand, two different concepts of repetition are developed articulating the nouvelles and the short stories; the analysis of both explores the gradations and shades present in both kind of stories. On the other hand, a thesis which is object of reflection and verification is defended in the book: the presence and importance of the principle of repetition in art –the creation of doubles at different levels– takes part in the sphere of reality suggesting mimesis and favoring balance. Both fiction and metafiction join together as allies at the very heart of the book.

Autofiction has become a theoretical tool which allows us to review larger questions such as the permanent redistribution of the boundaries of fiction or the general autofictionalization peculiar to postmodern society. The purpose of this paper is to offer a diagnosis of the theoretical debate around autofiction in order to determine the ways in which autofiction is employed as a generic label as well as the limits of this ambiguous category. Beyond purely stylistic and textual parameters or even the paradoxical nature of the pragmatic plane, the analysis reveals the need to give up the panfictionalist doxa involving autofictional postmodern practices. Thus the thematic, ontological and anthropological implications of a kind of être-au-monde as impostor can be evaluated, as well as the historical evolution of that mode of literary imposture.

Gueule d’amour tells us the tragic love story of a former soldier who kills his mistress, a beautiful and mysterious woman. There are also other men, among them the narrator, who will fall under the charm of this femme fatale. Unable to love, she values really her freedom what increases her mystery and makes her lovers suffer. Nevertheless, our perception of the story is determined by the personal situation of the narrator as well as the narratological proceedings used in the discourse.

In online tourism discourse, stereotypes are conveyed by the different semiotic codes. They back up specific argumentative lines and mould image isotopies, helping to create a tailor-made, ready-to-visit destination. The description of the Otherness, which is based on implicit, power-based relationships between visitors and the host community, is felt as arbitrary and timeless. Therefore, as parts of a specific type of discourse, transnational as well as cultural hetero- and auto-stereotypes are meaningful. Their localization can be approached according to particular editing policies and space-time parameters.

An analysis about Jean-Jacques Rousseau’s contribution to the theory of writing and the grammatology. This analysis contains a systematic comparison of the rousseaunian ideas about the language and the writing with another theories of the 17th (Arnauld and Lancelot), 18th (Condillac, Paillasson, Jaucourt) and 20th centuries (Saussure). The contrast of Rousseau’s ideas to Saussure’s about writing also, allows to make explicit Rousseau’s grammatological ideas’s big importance and his relation with the grammatology (Gelb, Derrida, Harris), exceeding avant la lettre modern linguistics’s phonocentrism.

The paper establishes and analyses a series of signification cores of some Hélène Cixous’s texts, giving a special relevance to the writing of time and, concretely, to the writing of the moment, of the «still». I intend to demonstrate that writing the «still» means in Hélène Cixous’s selected texts an exit door to the life, to the potential of happiness of the moment.
