Resumen
This article focused on describing the typical processes, materials used, main health risks derived from the leather tanning industry, as well as the environmental impact associated with this industry and activity in the province of Tungurahua, Ecuador. For the development of this document, an integrative review of the literature was carried out, as a bibliographic research modality. The main result was that the contamination of water tributaries with chemicals from wastewater, resulting from the transformation of animal skins into leather for the leather goods industry, has determined the exponential growth of contamination, due to the poor management of such waste. Contamination of water resources is evidenced by the amount of chromium discharged into the water, both trivalent and hexavalent. The concentration of Cr6 ranges from 52.3 to 392.9 mg/L, exceeding the limit determined by the TULAS regulations. It is concluded that the determination of Cr6 becomes a potential factor and an imminent risk for the development of different affectations associated with chromium exposure.

Resumen
This study compiles and describes the construction of the concept of woman from Pizarnik's literary contributions. It also articulates Pizarnik's writings with the approach of intersectional feminism. The methodology applied is descriptive-qualitative, with a narrative design. The main objective of the essay is to describe from several writings of Pizarnik, such as poetry, diaries and quotations, the construction of the concept of woman, relating it to intersectional feminism. In several poems and writings several themes are glimpsed: the notion of united women, the rupture of gender stereotypes, the loneliness, independence of a woman, the appropriation of the body, the construction of being a woman from an "outsider" perspective, the insurmountable barriers between the rights that women and men have, as well as the inadequacy of language in the description of versions of reality.

Resumen
The purpose of this article is to report the findings of a systematic document review of studies published between 2013 and 2021. The objective of the research was to establish the relationship between the effects and alterations produced by high and sustained cortisol over time on cognitive functions. To achieve this objective, 73 documents were reviewed, which were subjected to a formal and content analysis, in an orderly sequence, guided by the research objectives, selecting 36 neuroscientific investigations. The documents found correspond to primary and secondary sources, associated to the topics, cortisol in terms of definition, function and alteration; sustained hypercortisolemia, stress and brain structures; identification of damages and alterations in brain structures, such as the amygdala, hippocampus and prefrontal cortex, as well as cognitive functions such as: attention, memory, social cognition and planning, considered as prerequisites for the development of learning. The study allowed concluding that high cortisol levels, for prolonged periods due to physical and psychological stress, generate a negative impact on the organism, producing a neurotoxic condition for brain structures, modifying their volume and favoring neuronal dysfunction, generating as a consequence alterations in cognitive functions, such as: failure in the arousal system, alertness, concentration, as well as episodic and spatial memory, which as a whole affect information processing and learning.

Resumen
The learning and teaching process evolves over time, due to this different methodologies and techniques are implemented for students to learn optimally; however, one of the most common problems within mental health is stress and anxiety, which can be generated by not adapting to new systems in education, as is the case of virtual learning forced by the pandemic by COVID-19. In this context, this research seeks to describe the perception of eighth semester students of psychology at the Universidad Tecnológica Indoamérica in the city of Ambato, regarding their learning experience in virtual environments. For this purpose, the perceptions of a sample of 50 students of the Faculty of Human and Health Sciences are collected, based on their experience with classes under the virtual modality in times of pandemic. The results show that students consider that stress influences their learning, and that they tend to generate anxious traits when performing complex tasks. The solution to the problems is directed to know the levels of stress and anxiety that students may have, the teacher has a great influence, so he can use interactive methodologies and incorporate active breaks, reducing the levels of these pathologies, in order to stimulate the skills and abilities of students.

This article analyzes one of the problems considered of significant importance from a social and legal perspective, with negative implications for society, and in particular for children and adolescents, a group of the population that due to their physical and psychological conditions are considered vulnerable, and therefore deserve special and priority attention from the State and its agencies: crimes against sexual freedom, acts that are committed against the victim's will, by intimidating the victim or threatening the victim's family members; these acts of a sexual nature cause physical and psychological damage to those who suffer the aggression and those close to them, and violate the integrity and modesty of persons. In this order, sexual exploitation of persons, forced prostitution, pornography, sexual violence, harassment and abuse, rape, use of persons for public exhibition for sexual purposes, contact with this same affinity and offer of services by electronic means, trafficking in persons; are the most common crimes against sexual freedom. The objective was to analyze the main crimes of this type and their incidence in the most vulnerable population. The methods used were: qualitative, quantitative, descriptive and bibliographic, which implied the review of documentary material, complaints and reports from the prosecutor's office related to the object of study, obtaining results and their interpretation by means of figures with statistical data. The study period focused on the years 2018 - 2021 in the Province of Tungurahua, Ecuador.
