Resumen
The pedagogical theories of Vygotsky and Ausubel, in addition to the theory of pre-exercise and playfulness, are the basis of this research project. Adapting board games as didactic resources is a great alternative to integrate and motivate active participation in classes. In this opportunity, a board game was adapted (taking Ludo or Parqués as a referential idea) to be applied in physical education classes and in the physical-sports training program of an educational center in Colombia. In addition to its great versatility and capacity to adapt to any group, objectives, resources, spaces, contents, time, among others, it allows the integration of other areas of knowledge. The main purpose, in addition to the recreation of the participants, is to offer a didactic pedagogical alternative to be applied in school, home or sports facilities for motor learning, as well as to improve physical, psychological and metabolic condition, in addition to strengthening other areas of knowledge. Therefore, this study shows that it is necessary and important to apply new didactic resources during the physical education class and physical-sports training, and at the same time, it optimizes the teaching-learning process in teachers and students, so it is worth putting it into practice.

Resumen
The purpose of this research was to develop learning spaces called Nunka Yapajniamuri (Climate Change) virtual ecological games and a module based on the CoDesing EDS method, within the teacher professionalization program implemented in the Ecuadorian Amazon, which has allowed incorporating technological and linguistic competencies, thinking skills and reaffirming the ancestral knowledge of the country's peoples and nationalities. The initiative is aimed at minimizing the digital divide and promoting the Sustainable Development Goals among teachers and students. The scientific rigor was determined by the socio-critical paradigm, with a qualitative approach and the participatory action research method. The intervention strategy was supported by the Desing Thinking methodology of Brown & Wyatt (2015). Among the main results are the design of a learning module called: Gamifying for Sustainable Development, which will be incorporated in the subject Interinstitutional Functioning. In addition, as an added value, student teachers improved their digital competencies, enhanced their language skills and deepened their understanding of the environmental problems affecting the Amazon.

Resumen
Education in times of Covid-19 is a challenge in all educational institutions. The use of social networks became the ideal means of communication to provide information on academic activities to parents. The objective of this research was to determine the use of the WhatsApp social network as a tool for educational communication between teachers and parents of the "Antonio José de Sucre Cedeño Cortez" Educational Unit, Canton 24 de Mayo, Province of Manabí, Ecuador. In the development of the study, a mixed methodology was applied, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, in addition to the analytical method supported by the bibliographic method, which allowed collecting the data required for the research topic, with the application of a survey to 13 parents of the fourth year of General Basic Education and the interview to 14 teachers of Elementary Education. The results revealed that 100% of parents use WhatsApp as an educational communication tool, and 71.4% of teachers get timely response with the sending of academic activities and any type of communication, so it was evidenced that this social network is a learning strategy in schools.

Resumen
The university extension assumes a function of social practice in the houses of higher studies, since its purpose is the act of educating. In addition to promoting tools for teachers, students and the external community, thus maintaining their knowledge updated through continuous training. Similarly, university extension plays a transcendental role in the construction of citizens for the new model of society. This theoretical article aimed to reflect on university extension with a sense of social responsibility. The experiences of university social responsibility must be related to the extension as a collective agreement, so that a dynamic dialogue can be established between the academy and the environment itself, thus developing the true sense of belonging that should exist in the student campus.

Resumen
The aim of this study was to identify the average of productive and reproductive traits in Red Sindhi females and evaluate if there is an influence of the reproductive traits on milk yield in this breed. Data related to reproductive and productive traits of 638 Sindhi breed dairy cows from North, Northeast, Midwest and Southeast regions of Brazil were provided by ABCZ. Analysis of variance followed by analysis of correlation among reproductive traits and between these and milk yield traits were used. Averages for age at first calving (AFC), calving age (CA), calving interval (CI), reproductive efficiency (RE), dry period (DP), lactation period (LP),milk yield (MY), and total milk yield (TMY) were 549.83 ± 560.47 days; 1843.53 ± 739.99 days; 533.28 ± 206.66 days; 75.46 ± 19.95%; 248.28 ± 206.66 days; 263.22 ± 63.51 days; 7.08 ± 2.78 kg of milk. day-1 and 1875.28 ± 893.36 kg of milk.lactation-1, respectively. The traits AFC, calving order (CO), CA, CI, RE and LP were separated into categories and there was no effect on MY among different categories, while the CO showed positive correlation with LP. Therefore, it can be concluded that Red Sindhi breed dairy cows showed high averages for AFC and medium averages for MY, CI and RE.

Resumen
Tracheal collapse is the most common progressive affection of the anterior pathways in small animals. The most common clinical symptom is a “goose honk” cough in cases of tracheal collapse and inspiratory discomfort in cases of cervical collapse. The diagnosis is based on the history, physical examination, and imaging tests, notably chest radiography and endoscopic examination. Treatment can be clinical or surgical depending on the degree of collapse. Obesity currently affects several domestic animals and predisposes them to respiratory disorders. The overlapping adipose tissue presses on the muscles of the trachea, aggravating the collapse and influencing the lung compliance and expansion. The present report describes the clinical improvement in an obese canine with tracheal and bronchial collapse after clinical management and therapeutic ration.

Resumen
Objetive: To determine the efficacy of Sambucus peruviana (sauco) in patients with symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods: Simple randomized clinical trial type study with 30 patients; the preparation with sauco leaves was administered to the patients, orally, at a dose of 45mg/kg/day, for a period of six months; then the variations in the prostate symptoms score were determined according to the international prostate symptom score (IPSS) and the postvoid residual (PVR) determined by ultrasound. Results: The post-treatment analysis according to the symptomatic variation and the PVR was 87% and 97%, respectively; the statistical difference before and after treatment had a highly significant p value (p <0,001). Conclusion: Sambucus peruviana (sauco) is highly effective in the treatment of patients with symptomatic benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Resumen
Introduction: The Caregiver Stress Syndrome (ICD-11 QF27) is defined as an inadequate response to chronic emotional stress, which does not appear exclusively in caregivers and whose main features are physical and/or psychological exhaustion1. It is an entity of great prevalence nowadays, and this is due both to the increase in life expectancy and to the rise of chronic non-communicable diseases, the latter disabling the population and increasing the number of formal and informal caregivers, who emerge to meet the needs of those affected2.
Objectives: Evaluate the mental health status in caregivers of patients with chronic non-communicable diseases of the community of El Llano, Peravia province, Dominican Republic.
Methodology: Cross-sectional, prospective, observational, and analytical study. A sample of 115 people was selected, with a 95% confidence level and 8% margin of error, to which the questionnaires were applied. The questionnaire variables included age, gender, date of collected information, as well as Goldberg’s standardized questionnaires for depression and anxiety in primary care, Zarit Burden Interview, and fragments of the Primary Caregivers Questionnaire. Additionally, a form to acquire informed consent was included.
Results: It was found that 63% of caregivers could suffer from depression, 52% could suffer from anxiety, and 71% of caregivers did not present burden. Meanwhile, the overload is not enough to explain the behavior of depression (r2=-0.27), or anxiety (r2=-0.14) since both demonstrated a very low positive correlation. It was shown that 76% corresponding to 87 caregivers were female. Age was also an important variable, 45% of the caregivers were between the ages of 41-60 years.
Conclusions: The overload presented by the respondents was not sufficient to explain the levels of depression and anxiety, hence should be correlated with other variables.

Resumen
Introduction: At the end of 2019, the world faced SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, declared a pandemic in March 2020. In this context, health services have needed to reorganize, design strategies or interrupt their services routine, and many stopped providing care to people being treated for mental health illnesses and chronic conditions. Additionally, many healthcare workers who typically provide this care were redirected to the COVID-19 response.
Material and methods: An observational, descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out, with the aim of studying the perception of users about the follow-up of the Mental Health Service of the Dr. Robert Reid Cabral Children’s Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic, between December 2020 and March 2021. The population consisted of a total of 237 patients, of which 19% were included in the final investigation.
Discussion: More than half of the users of the Mental Health service of our Hospital perceived the accompaniment received as good. This coincides with other international studies that have also used tools such as telehealth to maintain contact and care with patients. A single review study recorded the perception of the users interviewed towards the remote mental health care service, where they qualify it, in general terms, as good, which coincides with our results. We found no significant differences in the number of patients with confirmed positive contacts between their partners and alterations in sleep, eating and behavior patterns, compared to those who did not have a confirmed positive contact between their partners. A single review study recorded the perception of the users interviewed towards the remote mental health care service, where they qualify it, in general terms, as good, which coincides with our results.
Conclusions: The offer of access to remote health services turns out to be a good alternative to offer patients and their families, provide timely attention to the conflicts presented, and, when properly implemented, the beneficiary families perceive the offered service as good.
