In this text, we commen on the work of the historian Rachel Holmes about the life of Eleanor Marx, recently translated into Portuguese. In reading the biography, her socialist activism as well as her career in theater, in which she worked from 1875 until the end of her life, stands out. In this sense, her role as a translator of proto-feminist works, such as Madame Bovary, by Flaubert and Casa de Muñecas, by Henrik Ibsen, from whom she translated other dramaturgical texts, is highlighted. Notable in the comment is the work carried out by the youngest daughter of Karl Marx, together with the Social Democratic Federation, the Socialist League and the Union of Gas workers, organizations in which she acted in the field of education, agitation and propaganda and translation, as well as in internationalist solidarity. In addition, her recognized militancy along with socialist feminism of the late nineteenth century stands out, a subjecton which she wrote The question of women - from a socialist point of view, in 1886.

This article aims to share reflections on the studies of Dances of Black families. To achieve this, the process of teaching-learning of São Gonçalo de Amarante Dance, a kind of family manifestation produced in the Quilombola settlement of Mussuca in Laranjeiras, Sergipe – Brazil, was observed. We started with the question "how do children learn to dance the São Gonçalo Dance in the family context of Mussuca?". It was considered that the fundamentals concerning the learning of the São Gonçalo Dance are based on processes linked to empirical practice, repetition and family experience. Furthermore, notes were established for the definition of Black family dances and the practices related to the learning of these dances were discussed through a study focused on the São Gonçalo de Amarante Dance.

Devices for developing exercises of attention, writing and performative practices are presented here as means of investigating habits of perception, stimulating the invention of languages and forms of sharing, and engaging with artistic and educational spaces, within the perspective of an expanded scene. Alongside the presentation of the procedures themselves, reflections are developed in relation to the context of crises within which artistic and educational activities are inserted today, particularly in Brazil. The propositions presented dialogue with traditional, artistic and academic knowledge, connecting sensorial, perceptual, emotional and cognitive dimensions in order to construct collective spaces and experiences. The paper integrates, in its very form, the procedures of the research, interweaving theoretical reflections with short accounts and images that converse indirectly with the themes approached.

After a brief historical overview, it followed a dialectical approach in order to discuss the implications of the presence of TO in the Brazilian academic environment. Considering the literature and the voices of several researchers, it was pointed out the impasses and the possibilities that emerge from the presence of a militant artistic practice in the Brazilian university environment.

Based on Performance Studies in Education, this investigation sought to understand some meanings of the notion of student in performance through an experience with dance in Art classes in a public elementary school. From the analysis of an audiovisual work produced during that experience, a school ritual was observed that, based on control symbols, is subverted by students in performance who constantly reconfigure their orders. When entering social performances in the school space, students began to tension their subject positions, making it necessary, therefore, to have a greater attachment to the body, whose dance became a concern about more (un)schooled performative practices.
