The pandemic caused by COVID-19 has forced higher education institutions to adapt their different academic processes (classes, meetings, academic events) to the dynamics and challenges of virtuality. In this sense, in addition to the digital divide, among the challenges raised by this pandemic in the academic context are: the training of teachers in the use of ICT and in terms of the appropriation of methodologies for virtuality, as well as development of skills in practical courses during remote presence. In this article we present as a contribution the application of the collaborative learning methodology in the development of practical activities within the Human-Computer Interaction course of the Systems Engineering Program of the University of Cartagena. Specifically, the methodology of the practical sessions developed within the topic of usability inspections was adapted to remote presence, taking into account teleconferencing and collaborative work tools. Through the collaborative sessions designed, different inspection exercises on general purpose applications, web applications and video games were developed in the course. The proposal presented is intended to be extrapolated for the development of remote practical activities in other courses in the area of Engineering.

The purpose of this study was to identify the students’ perception of the influence of music on citizen behavior, from coexistence and Peace, from it, conflict resolution, human rights, emotional regulation and the environment were studied. For this purpose, a qualitative methodology was used through phenomenology. The participants were ninth grade students from the Bienvenido Rodríguez school in the municipality of Guamal -Magdalena. To collect the information, a semistructured interview was used by telephone and virtual. Among the findings, it was evidenced that students perceive that music influences not only their behavior, but also the state of mind that motivates them to reflect and widens the spaces to achieve a positive attitude towards life, expressed in resolving conflicts and respect. by the community. It is concluded that, Music is a very relevant social instrument, capable of modifying the mood and behavior of a person, whenever the spaces for reflection are expanded. This is how music should be considered as in the input in the construction of pedagogical strategies that motivate the practice of coexistence, through the development of civic skill.

The objective of this research was to characterize the scientific production of Latin American countries on COVID-19 as of July 12, 2021. Regarding the methodology, a bibliometric study was carried out in the SCOPUS database. Original and short original articles were included in which Latin American countries were consigned. Scientific production was described according to the number of documents, country, institution of origin, subject area, scientific journals in which they were published, research funding, and collaboration networks. Regarding the results, 10,697 articles were included, of which 63.1 were research articles. Brazil was the most prolific country to produce research on Covid-19. Of the first five magazines with the highest production, two were foreign and of the institutions with the highest scientific production, the vast majority belong to the education sector, led by the University of Sao Pablo. Taking into account the above, it was concluded that most of the publications came from Brazil, while Haiti had the least contribution. Journal articles are recognized as the main method of disseminating knowledge and most of these articles are published among the most prestigious magazines in Latin America.

This study aimed to analyze the psychometric properties of cultural adaptation of the gender role scale in university teachers. Method: It’s descriptive and instrumental quantitative study, in which 232 teachers from a university in Colombia participated. Internal consistency and validity analyzes of the scale factors were performed. Results: Throughout the adaptation procedure, the adjustments made were considered pertinent both in the analysis of judges and in advanced driving. The factorial structure of three factors explained 64.677% of the variance, although changes in the location of three items were evident, which leads to a theoretical discussion of such factors. The scale and its factors showed adequate internal consistency coefficients.

The present innovation proposal is derived from a transdisciplinary, descriptive, and qualitative inquiry that supports the classroom project, which is carried out to promote learning based on the theory of social practice. The innovation, in the first university semester, requires the support of the teacher by the researchers, from the plastic arts and mathematics education. The purpose is on the participation experience of university students and professors, in an attempt to allow a collective construction around the mathematical practices of identification, and use of regularities and patterns, mediated by observation, creation, and inductive reasoning around pre-Columbian iconography. A description of the common enterprise is presented regarding the creation of regularities, the use of patterns, scales, 3D creations, and the structuring of inductive reasoning, with a follow-up from the participation that is observed in the community of practice of the class.

The implementation of education based on the competence approach and evaluation as the central axis of this research, has different problems, in this article it is intended to reveal some of the intimacy of the implementation of evaluation processes in the pedagogical practice of some elementary school teachers, among them the index of subjectivities that mainstream them and make them wonder about the way in which it is assumed and the meaning that this practice has for the teacher; The result of this research comes from the sampling of practicing teachers from public institutions in the city of Medellín; using the interview as a tool, which allowed findings such as the constitution of a perspective adjusted to the integrality that demands the formation of human beings in their own capacities and the beginning of a deconstructive process that allows the evolution of old practices giving way to the emergencies of dynamics adjusted to existing realities.

The rise of globalization thanks to the development of new information and communication technologies and the expansion of the internet brought with it the advent of new forms of communication and interactions called digital culture. These new ways of relating and interacting between social groups represent constant innovations and transformations in the different spheres of societies, including education. The objective of this work is to describe the effects of globalization and digital culture in educational environments. The research corresponds to a theoretical documentary and / or bibliographic review. The results showed that education needs to adapt to the present, through teacher training for the proper use of technological tools. Similarly, it faces the challenge of an increasingly diverse and multicultural education. Digital culture constantly pressures to redefine and reinvent the educational process as a whole.

The environmental difficulties generated by the marine erosion that threatens the Bahía La Rada community on the coasts of Córdoba in Colombia and by its proximity to its rural educational institution of the same name, allowed us to analyze the relationship of learning about marine erosion as scientific content and the formation of environmental leaders in high school students. A qualitative methodology with an interpretative scope was used, through a qualitative content analysis (ACC), documentary analysis, non-participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The participating population was non-probabilistic and intentional, made up of 15 students, 4 girls and 8 boys, aged between 12 and 16 years. The results allowed identifying four criteria for the training of School Environmental Leaders (LAE): educate for the environment, train to build an environment, lead to transform the context and share what has been transformed, implemented through the proposal of an environmental tutor module that links synergistically the school environmental contents taught and the socio-environmental problems of the students’ context. Finally, it is recommended to promote a collective dynamic of environmental awareness and empowerment of students as an educational need for the generation of commitments and actions in favor of the transformation of the learning of natural sciences applied to contextual environmental solutions.
