This article intends to approach the bodies of fashion shows, from the understanding of the body as an expressive sensorimotor force, which allows us to consider, in the midst of the visible uniformity of performances on the catwalks, the existence of nuances of the compositional specificities of such apparitions. Thus, we will present the notion of body leaks, defended in the thesis Metaphor of the hanger: body and apparition in the fashion shows (LEAHY, 2018), especially from the notions of body techniques, by the sociologist and anthropologist Marcel Mauss (2003), and of body schema, by the phenomenologist philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty (1999). After situating the ways in which the dressed bodies performed their performances in the parades until the contemporary ways, we deal with the issue of body techniques used specifically in the activity of bodies on the catwalks, which can be understood as parading techniques. From brief examples of fashion shows from São Paulo Fashion Week 42 (SPFW42) in 2016, analyzed in the thesis, wewill perceive and discuss the leaks operated and expressed by these bodies, recognizing them as elaborated in a culture, brokered as sensitive and moving force.

The virtual platform is integrated with specialized programs used for teaching and student learning management. Moodle is a Learning Management System (LMS) that manages and distributes activities as a complement to face-to-face training, in a blended learning manner, but it is more exclusively virtual. The research was carried out under the quantitative approach, for the collection of information instruments were applied such as surveys to teachers and students and interviews with authorities of Bluefields and Nueva Guinea campuses of the University of the Autonomous Regions of the Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast (URACCAN). Students in the area of Economics and Administrative Sciences in the undergraduate programs of Public Accounting and Auditing, Business Administration, Administrative Informatics and Systems Engineering were surveyed, as well as interviews with vice-rectors, academic secretaries, area coordinators, coordinators of Educational Technology, and the director of SITICI (Technological Information and Institutional Communication System). With this information it was possible to analyze the virtual platform’s usefulness and satisfaction as a complement in the learning process, the means, and tools available to develop more interactive subjects; it was possible to describe the factors that intervene according to the characteristics of each campus such as network access problems, few technological pieces of equipment for the use of students and teachers and the possible strategies expressed by users to improve access to the virtual platform in each of the territories. In this work, we contemplate strategies that can be taken up by the authorities of the campuses to improve infrastructure, training for teachers and students, and especially the service offered on weekends in some URACCAN territories.

In the university model of the 21st century, independent work acquires great importance for the academic performance of students, a detailed study of the specialized pedagogical literature shows the relevance of reflecting on the characteristics and specific requirements for each educational level and study modalities of Higher Education. One of the modalities where independent work has been developed most frequently is blended learning, which traditionally takes the form of Courses for Workers (CPT for its acronyms in Spanish). It is a qualitative study of the Participatory Action Research, motivated by the need for constant updating of their knowledge about the management of independent work from the professional improvement. On the basis of the deficiencies and potentialities found, a system of methodological teaching workshops is proposed that conceives independent work as a management process, proposing its implementation particularly within the class meetings or sessions. The present research responds to this need with the objective of designing a system of methodological teaching workshops that contribute to the methodological preparation of the first-year teachers at Alberto Fernández Meneses Municipal University Center for the direction of independent work in the Primary Education graduate training, semi-attendance study modality.

The banana crop is highly profitable with acceptable production and quality indexes. It represents an alternative export item in the region, mainly for the Central American market. The security that the crop provides to small, medium and large producers has been threatened by their disapproval because they are not exporting their harvest because the destination countries have requirements that they are not complying with. With the objective of identifying the causes of rejections that limit banana producers from exporting their product, this study was carried out in the period from September to November 2018. Surveys were conducted with six producers of banana farms in the area. It was identified that producers use sword sons as propagation material, all producers are suppliers of their own seeds obtained from the sons of adult plants, they do not store their seeds due to the deterioration it suffers. The most commonly used seed variety is dwarf plantain and CENSA ¾, the pathogen that most affects is Mycosphaerella fijiensis, which is managed chemically. The rejections that have occurred in previous years have been due to poor post-harvest handling, ripening, phytosanitary requirements in the countries of destination, and to a lesser extent, due to fungicide residuals. Currently, there have been no reports of rejections due to chemical residues

The present Cultivation and Raising of Wisdom and Knowledge research (CCRISAC) is focused on recounting the medicinal knowledge and practices in the management of COVID-19 in older Miskitu adults from Kamla Community, Puerto Cabezas municipality, Autonomous Region of the Northern Nicaraguan Caribbean Coast. It is intended to make known the ways of transmitting knowledge to future generations. We proceeded according to seven methodological moments: Dreaming the idea, Analysis of the context, Harmony between knowledge, Design of the paths: Research, Intercultural Action; Coexistence and Community Construction of knowledge, knowings and practices, Dialogue of knowledges and doings, and the construction of an Action Plan. Among the main findings, it is reported that people in the Kamla Community had experiences with diseases similar to COVID-19, such as the ancestral disease called IKIKIA, thus, responding to the health emergency with those medicinal practices previously used by the ancestors. On the other hand, the severity of the disease was recognized for the elderly, so the predominant feelings were sadness, fear and anguish. This community has maintained the ancestral knowledge in the elderly, however, the form of transmission to the new generation has been limited to orality and observation, where only medicinal plants and infusions are addressed, however, they are not experimented and the rituals in the preparation of the medicine are not detailed, which leads to the incomplete transmission of knowledge and practices of ancestral medicine

Potato crop represent a source of foreign exchange in our country and generate a large number of jobs. To this date, there is no formal study on the population fluctuation of Bactericera cockerelli and Candidatus liberibacter. This study was conducted to determine the population dynamics of Bactericera cockerelli and the incidence of Candidatus liberibacter in potatoes, which was carried out in Jinotega, La Concordia, San Rafael del Norte, and Yalí municipalities, in the department of Jinotega, from February to September 2014. The data collection was carried out in 4 potato farms. Thirty yellow sticky traps and 30 stations for visual sampling were located on each farm. The Bactericera cockerelli insects found, as well as the symptoms of the disease detected in the field were identified with the help of the thematic guide used by the phytosanitary specialists of the Instituto de Protección y Sanidad Agropecuaria (IPSA). The number of insects captured in the yellow traps and the number of insects observed, the number of plants with symptoms of Candidatus liberibacter, and the incidence of tuber damage in potato farms were evaluated. According to the results obtained, it was shown that the populations of Bactericera cockerelli were present in potato from March 14th to May 23rd, with the maximum population peak on April 25th, in the first cycle, and from June 23rd to September the 2nd, with the maximum population peak on July 22nd, in the postrainy season; the incidence of Candidatus liberibacter in potato was higher in the first cycle than in the postrera cycle, and the incidence of Candidatus liberibacter in tubers was higher in Buenos Aires farm with 72%, El Aguacate 1 with 32%, Las Piedras with 23% and El Aguacate 2 with 16%.

This qualitative study assessed the life quality of retired older adults affiliated to the Nicaraguan Social Security Institute (INSS) in Bilwi City, Puerto Cabezas. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with a homogeneous sample of 14 older adults from different ethnic groups (Miskitu, Creole and Mestizo), 7 women and 7 men, corresponding to 6 people from the Miskitu ethnic group, 4 from the Creole ethnic group and 4 from the Mestizo ethnic group, due to the geographical position of the region and taking into account their cultural environment. Convenience sampling was used and the information collected was subjected to two levels of coding to facilitate the analysis process. It was concluded that in general, the older adults had a good perception of their quality of life, with greater importance given to social factors, since the fundamental basis for a good quality of life was the family, followed by friends. Having a stable support base provided the older adult with security and well-being at the physical, psychological and social levels.  One of the factors with the greatest impact was the economic sphere; in contrast to the women, who did not make any negative remarks regarding this aspect, in the male sex, in the Mestizo and Creole ethnic groups there was greater discontent, in contrast to the Miskitu ethnic group.
