The evident situations emerging from the post-pandemic in the educational field have an important effect on the way of teaching, moving from classrooms full of people to face-to-face learning processes where teacher-student and student interactions with each other are part of daily living and learning, change by a single-person space that requires connection equipment, the use of the Internet and an active videoconference session that allows establishing digital relationships to continue with the learning processes. This can significantly affect motivation during learning processes, for this reason it is necessary to study what effect digital tools have for teaching on the motivation of the educational community. For this, a study was carried out from a quantitative, non-experimental and transversal temporality approach, in which the teachers from Instituto Superior Tecnológico EuroAmericano participated and responded to a survey on the aforementioned topics. The Ecuadorian beer sector is of an industrial and artisanal nature that has been affected by the Covid-19 health crisis. This has affected sales, since the consumption of alcoholic beverages has been restricted in order to protect the immune system. As a result, advertising in this sector is normally discreet in terms of consumption. Thus, it was analyzed whether there is growth in sales as a function of advertising investment within the beer sector. A linear regression model was used to determine the level of significance in terms of the correlation of the variables and the forecast for the next year. The study sample consisted of five companies selected according to their registration with the Superintendence of Companies, Securities and Insurance for the years 2016 to 2020. The results showed that there is a highly significant relationship between the study variables, which denote a level of direct dependence of income on promotion and advertising. Thus, it is concluded that the beer sector has a close link with promotion and advertising for the return on sales and the forecast for 2021 showed growth in both variables.

This research determines the influence that exists between leadership and low labor performance in the company McDuck. Through a quantitative methodology, with a transversal non-experimental research design, which was measured in its real context and consequently allowed to investigate how leadership affects the company, to study the causes that have caused the low work performance of employees, and thus establish accurate solutions. Through the use of surveys made to the work group of 55 people, it was found that in the company McDuck there is a low productivity due to the lack of commitment of its collaborators; this as a result of the inappropriate management of the managers and the lack of an adequate leadership style. This causes a bad working environment that discourages subordinates to meet the goals and objectives set. Therefore, the manager of the McDuck company should implement a participatory leadership style or also known as full commitment, since it is the style that would increase the level of job performance and would have a balance between proper management and acceptance by the workers of the company while maintaining a high level of concern for people and results.

As a consequence of the confinement caused by COVID-19, Higher Education Institutions have adapted their academic processes to the particularities of the so-called remote presence, having as a challenge in the different courses, the development of practical skills in students and digital skills in teachers. In this order of ideas, UNESCO, starting from the vision of the agenda for sustainable development, has proposed a framework of ICT competencies for teachers, which comprises a set of 18 competencies structured in 3 levels and 6 aspects. This article proposes as a contribution, the development of digital competences of UNESCO, within one of the practical topics of the elective course of Human-Computer Interaction of the Systems Engineering Program of the University of Cartagena. Specifically, the topic “user testing” was adapted from the course, which is traditionally developed in a practical way in a usability laboratory. In this manner, using teleconferencing, remote monitoring and survey management tools, the students and the course teacher set up the basic infrastructure of a virtual usability laboratory, in which the students could develop the practices of the topic in question.

The humanities constitute a training course that has historically been implemented in the country’s universities, contributing to continuous metaanalysis of social, political, economic and cultural phenomena from interdisciplinary approaches, not only as a fundamental part of the institutional educational projects of each institution. , but rather as platforms for approaching debates and discussion around issues and associated problems that affect the reality of the different communities from a territorial perspective. However, the influx of the capitalist market, globalization and the international conditions for the production of new products demanded by the markets, has caused in some regions of the continent, including Colombia, the tendency to close related programs. At least two consequences follow from the situation in question; The first is that according to the statistics of entities such as DANE and the Labor Observatory of the universities, there are significantly low expectations regarding what a humanities career can contribute to the realization of the life project of citizens; and the second aspect is the weakening of a critical thinking that permeates the realities beyond the preparation of professionals for the reproduction of the hegemonic system, and seeks strategies to transform the context as an ethical-political requirement, a task in which the humanities have much to contribute.
