The fundamentals of teaching at university level include the interrelation of three elements: the student, the teacher, and knowledge. The first one approaches teaching with a particular knowledge structure that may facilitate or limit learning; the second one develops specific conceptualizations according to their own life experiences and schooling; and the third one upholds cultural and social links, and also has a history and epistemology that shapes the content to be taught. The objective of this article is to use movement analysis for the teaching-learning (TL) of muscle function. For this purpose, a case study was carried out to analyze the function of the trunk muscles through the movement analysis of a Paralympic shot put, through the observation, description and analysis of video footage filmed during the athlete’s habitual training sessions. For the analysis, the phases of a conventional throw and the phases of the Paralympic throw were taken into account, from which a series of animated illustrations were made and a table was formulated to describe the muscular actions taking place in each of them. It is considered that the use of this T-L strategy aids students in understanding muscle activity from the observation, analysis, representation and explanation of movements, and it is replicable across different sportive or daily activities.

This article identifies the representations that the regional press built on the Bari and Uwa ethnic groups, in the case of La Opinion (Cúcuta, Norte de Santander, Colombia) between 1992 and 2018. The selected period follows the first 25 years of the promulgated Political Constitution in 1991 after a political process that demanded the establishment of a secular and social state of law. Through the documentary review of 78 copies of the newspaper in its printed version, this being an intentional sample made up of the newspapers of October 11, 12 and 13 of each year (eve, day and after the commemoration of the discovery of America or Columbus Day), a coding and categorization process was applied, which evidenced the infantilization of the Bari, showing them through cartoons and illustrations in the children’s reprint. In addition, it made the Uwa invisible, since during the period studied they are mentioned only twice. The newspaper represents the Barí and Uwa indigenous people as warriors, associated with the resistance against conquest and colonization during the 17th and 18th centuries, and as heritage, since it values their existence, their ancestral practices that allow the care of the territory, but in In general, there is an under-representation of these communities in the media. This situation is recognized as an opportunity to propose an intercultural educational commitment in the Department and the recognition of multi-ethnicity from the school.

This article is the product of the investigation “the common: discarded bodies in relation to waste”, carried out in Moravia neighborhood in the City of Medellín. Both the survival and political processes of the inhabitants were understood thanks to situated observation, access to archive documents, images and interviews. The method used is “the trigger”, which is based on the framing of the gaze, to approach or move away from the observed phenomenon intentionally. An enlarged frame allows to see the phenomena in relation to the institutional aspect; Likewise, in the position of the observer, through the gesture of approaching, the researcher makes a detailed frame to focus on the phenomenon and thus perceive its signals. Precisely one of the signals perceived in this research context has to do with the community: a word used complacently in economic, political, and educational discourses. Thanks to the “in situ” investigation, it was found that, through their actions, the inhabitants of Moravia contradict the traditional conception of Community originating from the Social Sciences. On the contrary, the inhabitants of Moravia join in processes of coercion around waste, that is, around the production of the common. Historicalpedagogical anthropology is the perspective in which the investigation is inscribed, insofar as it does not defend a unitary conception of the human being and does not privilege its thematization in the abstract, in addition to the fact that it does not have a specific set of methods. It is concluded that it is necessary not only to resist language in language itself in relation to the use of the notion of Community, but also to advance towards the understanding of the production of the common as a possibility for the creation of various forms of human relationships.

The purpose of this review article, from the perspective of bibliometric analysis, is to know and understand the evolution of virtual education in the different areas of knowledge, from the appearance of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus virus, which has been declared as a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). In the bibliometric analysis carried out, a systematic approach is applied, using the SCOPUS databases and to represent the data, the visualization software VOSViewer and Power BI. An exploratory analysis of the co-authors is carried out, journals that publish the most articles referring to virtual education since the appearance of covid-19, analysis of institutions, analysis of co-citation, countries with the most published documents and co-occurrence of keywords. The results provide an overview of virtual education during the covid-19 pandemic, show a growing interest from the scientific community and reveal complete bibliometric data on the main authors, affiliations and areas of knowledge in which more documents are published on the theme.

This article defends two premises: first, that the collective memory in Colombia is fragmented - that is, dismembered, shattered - by the barbarism of the history of hidden pain. Second, that the fragmentation of memory prevents the conscious exercise of citizenship. As a central thesis, it is defended that a process of defragmentation is necessary, which is, of reorganization of the parts of that collective memory in order to readjust them, make them accessible, being the condition of possibility of fully conscious citizen training. Methodologically, it is based on the socio-critical paradigm; the logic of structural fluctuation is followed, which consists of going from the premises to the conclusion and from the conclusion and the first premise to the second premise. The conclusion is reached that it is necessary to take responsibility for the past by defragmenting it, as well as training in social responsibility with oneself and with the other as part of civic education.

In this issue of the Redipe Magazine, the need to vindicate the usefulness of pedagogy and the humanities to build a better world and life is highlighted. Without the active protagonism of the human sciences, citizen formation will be a long hope, with its back to the need for people to gain understanding, critical and edifying consciousness. A look is needed in which the notion of the common, based on co-activity, displaces the notion of community, which focuses on processes of possession and belonging according to the criteria of the despotic reason of the market, affirming the inequalities and exclusions that erode existence. It is necessary that the collective memory, today dismembered, torn apart by the barbarism of the history of hidden pain, give rise to a process of defragmentation of the past, that is, of reorganization of the parts of that collective memory, which makes them accessible. This is the condition of the possibility of a fully conscious citizen formation, of a citizenship responsible with itself, with the other and with the other that weaves the pluriverse life.

The purpose of this systematic review is to describe the effects of curricular pedagogical programs that apply motor games in the development of executive functions during the preschool stage, since motor games have been proclaimed as a driver for cognitive and executive development, taking more importance in infantile ages, however, there are still gaps on the effectiveness of explanatory research on this activity in reference to the biological processes of neuromaturation and its impact on learning processes during the preschool stage in educational institutions, The eligible studies were peer-reviewed publications in English, Portuguese and Spanish that sampled a population of children with an average age between 3 and 7 years old and focused on developing and assessing an executive function. The reporting items followed the review guide (PRISMA), to finally select nine investigations that met the inclusion criteria. As a result, it can be affirmed that motor play and EF are closely correlated, having a significant impact on working memory, cognitive flexibility, inhibitory control and planning, and that these transcend in behaviors and behavior in educational, social, emotional and mainly cognitive contexts. In addition, the findings show the need to implement study plans based on motor play as a means of teaching-learning in preschool stages, since it presents greater benefit in the processes of neuroplasticity and learning.

This article provides reflections on an important dimension in educational theory and praxis: the identity and role of the teacher from the conception of those who are being prepared to perform the profession. It is based on the fact that there are times of change for the field of Education due to, mainly, phenomena such as globalization and virtualization. These tendencies have had a direct effect on the activity of teachers and their functions in the academy, placing them at a critical point. New demands and challenges arise for the guild, and in that dynamic, the identity of the teacher becomes also very problematic ¿What does it mean to be a teacher today? This approach can be solved from different points of view; from the current legislation referred to the teacher being promoted by the state, going through the elaborations of directives and managers of each institution, up to the self-concept that each teacher has of himself. This investigation in particular pretends, through the Social Representations Theory, show the way the superior education students, specifically those that are studying Physical Education and Sports Degree from two private universities located in Antioquia department in Colombia, conceive and configure the role of teacher.
