The curricular organization of Contemporary History in the Secondary School in Cuba was modified within the changes that took place in the international situation of the years 1990, mainly due to the collapse of the European  Socialist Field and the disintegration of the USSR. Those modifications characterized the most recent period in the school discipline. The present article is devoted to the brief analysis of the transformations in the conception of the discipline in the context of this situation.

Sexual abuse is considered another form of infantile abuse that has extended in the societies of the modern world affecting thousands of children every year. The Cuban educational policy in response to the help of childhood and their protection, favors the prevention system of the infantile sexual abuse; this task is led by the teacher due to the educative role he plays, for the possibilities offered by his proximity to the boy and the girl, for his constant work with the family and as organizer of the educational influences received by them at school, family and community. Therefore it is of vital urgency the Cuban teacher's effective preparation in the prevention of sexual abuse, so that he can respond to the demands of the society.

The Distrito Centro constitutes the original urban core of Madrid, that still today continues being relevant within the greater Madrid metropolitan area by the diversity of activities that are located in it. It emphasizes the residential function, with significant changes in its population (aging, immigration, etc.) and by the spatial importance that it still has, which has motivated that the last PGOUM has in mind this urban area explicitly, with specific programs and the objective of its population recovery and quality of life. But it still presents ––in comparison with the rest of Madrid–– important problems in housing: state of the construction (ruinous, bad or deficient), infrahousing, vacated houses, negative perception of the urban surroundings by the residents, that is to say, of the urban environment (noise, pollution, little cleanliness in streets, lack of green areas), at the same time are related to the social degradation.
