In El Salvador, by the year 2003, population classified like in fertile age represents a little more than third part of these range. The health indicators reflect a situation that demands concrete attention and actions towards the necessities of the reproductive health of the salvadorian adolescents. According to the National Survey of familiar health made in 1998, 48,8% of the women with less than 24 years have had sexual experience, of them, less of 10% used some contraceptive method in his first sexual relation and 42% have had at least a pregnancy before the 24 years. Since the problems of sexual and reproductive health in adolescents were classified like high-priority subject of attention, the promotion of their health must constitute one of the main objectives of any project of development, as much at local level as national. In this article appears some numbers and reflections about the situation referring to the sexual and reproductive health of the Salvadoran adolescents between fiftheen and twenty four years old and some actions that are made on the matter. One considers a model of attention for adolescents implemented in the country and the main implications and challenges that even all we are doing have to do to take care of the situation.

This article attempts to reflect on the study of the environment, on theoretical and methodological concepts surrounding the diverse characteristics of a territory, or region, permitting us to know its social urban condition, its natural resources, the type of development of a locality and of an urban zone; the possible environmental impact on social welfare, as well as the participation of various actors in environmental matters. The economic and social development of a region involves intensive use of natural resources and, consequently, the generation of solid, liquid and gaseous polluting emissions, in different layers of the environment. The indicators of sustainability must go beyond a frequency count or statistical measurement.

Over the last few decades, something which has revolutionised the different ambits of social life has been the speed with which information is transmitted, widening informational asymmetry and thus marking new social distinctions. This analysis studies the importance of information in human life, its evolution and the costs which economic agents face in order to receive it. At the same time, consideration is given to the way in which information bridges work between communities of knowledge to reduce the costs of information and its exchange among the different social agents.

A way of organising tourist activity within the State of Mexico is proposed, starting on a regional scale, from the perspective that the territory and its organisation have an influence on the mobility and distribution of tourist flows. They play a strategic role in facilitating or obstructing economic activity

The technological and information revolution is one of the elements that have brought about a recomposition of the productive and administrative structures of private organizations, to such an extent that it has imposed new rhythms of production, commercialization, distribution and consumption throughout the world. It has also placed public administration in a context of competitiveness, efficiency and effectiveness, leading it to adopt some of the techniques of the private sector in order to give satisfactory answers to market pressures. This work therefore gives consideration to the phenomenon of adoption, adaptation and application of management techniques in public administration. Strategic planning is taken as the element to illustrate this.

The explicatory power of the partner-technique networks approach (techno-industrial ones) can be very useful to explain the industrial and technological dynamics of the territorial areas that are attempting to consolidate these activities. In addition, this methodological perspective appears to be a potential option to decode socioeconomic, productive andtechnological problems that occur in the territories.

The purpose of this study is to start an analysis of the foundation and working structure of the centres of population which were established as regional centers in the process of the colonization of the new provinces of Latin America. This involves a tremendous effort of compilation and understanding of information about eh phenomena which marked the begging of the inhabiting of these cities.

This is an analysis of two strategies used by Mexican Liberal governments in the post-Independence period - liberal legality and liberal pragmatism - which sought to confront the contradiction existing between the characteristics of the agrarian regime of a holistic society of collective actors inherited from the colonial period, based on rural communities; and the liberal aspirations to a modern western agrarian regime of individual actors and citizens, based on the plurality of small production properties.
