The growth of the urban population triggers a series of technical, ecological and social challenges to ensure the availability and quality of surface water due to the presence of emerging contaminants, which in recent years have aroused scientific interest due to their increasing presence in aqueous media. The objective of this study was the simultaneous determination of six non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (aspirin, diclofenac, ibuprofen, keterolac, meloxicam and naproxen) by high performance liquid chromatography coupled to a diode array detector (HPLC-DAD). Different water sampling points were established along the Portoviejo River near drinking water catchment areas, as well as drinking water samples were collected in the cities of Manta, Portoviejo and Rocafuerte. Initial results revealed that the concentrations of these contaminants were found to be below the analytical technique detection and quantification limits, making impossible to quantify them at µg/L levels, both in surface water and drinking water samples. The results also suggest that more sensitive and accurate analytical techniques are needed for the evaluation of these contaminants to determine concentrations of these drugs at ng/L levels. Currently, repetition is a phenomenon that persists in university institutions with different magnitudes and implications both individually, collectively and socially. This article aims to analyze the factors that influence repetition through multiple correspondence analysis, highlighting that its occurrence is influenced by both exogenous and endogenous factors, and that Ecuadorian universities should prioritize research on this topic., that favor the design and implementation of actions to minimize the effect of the aforementioned problem. The research allows us to assert that this topic has a high validity in the field of third-level education in Ecuador, which is confirmed by the high numbers of students who drop each year or repeat in the different careers that are offered both in public universities and private. For the analysis of the data, the SPSS statistical software was used, by steps backwards using the Likelihood Ratio (RV) criterion between the dependent variables (Student Repetition) and the independent variables (Socioeconomic) and with a p-value <0.10 within the Wald test. The conclusion was obtained. Once the binary logistic regression analysis was carried out with a significance level of p<0.10, it can be identified that the variables WORKS and TYPE OF HOUSING meet the aforementioned criteria and are variables of significance in the problem of desertion of university students of the Faculty of Informatics Sciences of the Technical University of Manabí. Spatial econometric methods have advanced rapidly, and many studies show the utility of these techniques in various fields. However, they have not yet received enough attention in the context of sustainable development. The main role of local development policy is to create a favorable business environment and new jobs, thus contributing to economic development. System dynamics and econometrics have traditionally been viewed as contrasting and sometimes conflicting approaches to deriving parameters for economic models. The digitization and automation of econometrics has the potential to accelerate national, regional, and local economic development and global economic connections, and some have been remarkably successful in doing so. Despite the prevalence of special economic zones around the world, their performance and impact on the economy and structural transformation are quite mixed. Economic development leads to a progressive change in the socioeconomic structure of the country. Educational technologies today have been present to a greater extent since the pandemic situations around the world, Latin America and Ecuador, which is no exception. In this sense, at educational levels, distance modalities have had to be implemented without the available means, the preparation of teachers and the conditions of students with the use of telematic teaching, virtualization and its digital tools. Regarding the demands of the use of digital tools and resources from technological applications in education, and that these guarantee certain levels of optimization in the teaching-learning processes, the following scientific problem is taken into account in particular: how to specify the process of analysis on the behavior of the Quizizz tool in the process of formative evaluation in the students of Basic Superior of the School “Dr. Achilles Valencia”? The objective set out in the study focused on the analysis of the applicability of the Quizizz tool in the process of formative evaluation in the students of Basic Superior of the School “Dr. Achilles Valencia”. The research approach is mixed, both qualitatively and quantitatively, and is descriptive, in which it seeks to identify the level of knowledge of teachers for the management of the Quizziz tool. The intentional sample was 15 students, to whom pre and post tests were applied for the control group and the experimental group, respectively. For the collection of the data, questionnaire-type instruments were used for teaching uses and scientific observation through the verifications of the tool in the students. With the analysis of the results, it is established that the pre - test and the post - test for the experimental group, presents an average increase of 20%; while for the experimental group the pre-test yielded a higher average than the control group. As in the post - test, where the increase reaches up to 24%, which represents a significant advance in the application of Quizziz in the academic field. Questionnaire-type evaluations will be applied for assessment in classes, both for the control group and the experimental group, by showing 100% accuracy in the management of both content and platform by students. The study in question raises and develops with a diagnostic vision regarding the use of strategies in terms of cooperative learning from virtual learning environments in students of the “Pedro Balda Cucalón” Fiscal Educational Unit of the Manta Canton. The problem dealt with is fundamentally about how to determine the incidence of the application of the aspects of cooperative learning from virtual learning environments in the students of Higher Basic Education. The general objective was defined as to analyze the impact on student performance based on cooperative learning from virtual learning environments in upper elementary school of this educational unit. For this purpose, a basic descriptive methodology was used, where direct sources of primary observation and instruments such as questionnaires to teachers and students were used. The data obtained in different opportunities or moments within the students' learning processes and the use of virtual learning environments were compared, from the evaluation and incidence of the use of approaches and theories related to cooperative learning. The defined sample consisted of 110 students of the afternoon section and 12 teachers of the mentioned educational unit. The analysis of the information obtained proposed to establish the continuity and deepening of the use of strategies and activities that guarantee cooperative learning in students in the context of the implementation of virtual learning environments. The contents to be dealt with are consolidated from team work, from the responsibility and autonomy achieved in the members of the groups when carrying out the activities. On average, academic results improved; heterogeneity is a significant and essential element for the achievement of the learning to learn competency, in terms of self-learning, classroom climate and motivation towards learning. Technology and software have made many aspects of daily life easier; in education this is also transcendent, therefore, this research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of Scratch as a teaching resource in the development of logical-mathematical thinking in 8th grade students of basic general education (EGB) of the Unit Educational Yahuarcocha, Manabí – Ecuador. The methodology used was based on a quantitative, documentary approach, with a quasi-experimental design and descriptive scope. The study population was 45 EGB 8th grade students, a non-probabilistic sample establishing an experimental group and a control group of 22 and 23 students, respectively. As a data collection instrument, a pre-test and post-test were used. The results show that after implementing Scratch as a teaching strategy for the experimental group, the students increased their level of development of logical-mathematical thinking by 3.78% compared to the results of the pre-test and 1.57% with compared to the control group in the post-test, which allows us to conclude that the Scratch application as a teaching resource turns out to be highly effective in developing mathematical logical reasoning in students. The objective of the research was to characterize by searching for the factors most related to the structure of the companies. For this, the questionnaire of the business structural survey ENESEM 2018 of the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses of a sample of 3723 medium and large companies, from the manufacturing, trade, service, mining and construction sectors of companies from all over Ecuador. Through a principal components analysis, a reduction of the groups of variables that made up the questionnaire was obtained, and through a multinomial model, the structure of the companies was characterized. Among the results obtained are the factors to characterize a large company in relation to characterizing it as a type A company, which is ultimately the variable "land", followed by the variable "mining". Likewise, the characteristic of "land" and “building” as well as the "mining and construction" sector also define more a company structured as large in relation to a medium-sized company B. It is concluded that large companies are characterized by the presence of Tangible Goods, while the medium type A and B by the other variables related to expenses, costs, production and depreciation. The model obtained was accepted for application by using the pseudo R2 Nagelkerke coefficient to test the suitability of the model, it was validated with an overall good classification rate of 87.3%. The objective of this article is to analyze the perception of the client in the public services of the Quevedo National Transit Agency. The investigation was of a descriptive type, it sought to express the particularities and the perception of the users when requesting the public services provided by the National Transit Agency. For the development of the project, a sample of users of the Quevedo National Transit Agency was chosen, which was carried out every month during the years 2019, 2020 and 2021. Among the results obtained, a considerable decrease in the issuance and renewal of licenses is reflected. Verbal language is an essential factor in preschool education, as it allows the child to communicate orally in an appropriate way within their social environment. When children enter educational institutions, teachers are the main guides to help them in their development, taking into account that there has been a confinement as a result of the pandemic, causing children to limit themselves and socialize with their peers. ; Therefore, a systematic review related to the didactic strategies used for the language development of 3-year-old children in the Diana Esther Guerrero Vargas Educational Unit is addressed. A structured survey was applied to nursery school teachers to learn about their experiences in the use of didactic strategies for teaching and learning. The study carried out is quantitative under a non-experimental design of a transactional and descriptive type. A theoretical analysis on the use of didactic strategies for language development is presented, for which a bibliographic review was carried out that includes 30 documents referred to in the work and that are related to the subject studied. The results of a survey carried out with nursery school teachers, related to their appreciations in relation to the language development of their students, are offered. It is concluded that the work allowed to describe a theoretical analysis linked to the strategies and methods used for language development.
