Resumen
The distribution maps of Phyllariopsis purpurascens (C. Agardh) Henry & South and P. brevipes (C. Agardh) Henry & South (Phyllariaceae, Laminariales, Phaeophyta), along the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands, are presented, and their vertical distribution range are commented. The consequences of the geographical distribution in Phyllariopsis, in relation to their ecological and reproductive diversification, are discussed.

Resumen
The maroccan mediterranean coast, because of its proximity to the Straits of Gibraltar, presents elements in its seascape flora which are clearly ot atlantic origin. We have been studied a group of big and brown seaweeds (Phaeophyta) with these characteristics for four years, stablishing at a phytogeographic level, the boundaries of the oceanic influence on these coasts.

Resumen
This paper presents the first floristic and photographic catalogue of diatoms that inhabit several rivers and streams of Salamanca. This catalogue is made up of 210 taxa which belong to 164 species. We think that 14 of them are new for Spanish alga flora. We also present some tables where several physical-chemical factors of the water.

Resumen
Contributions to the distribution and ecology of the Charophyceae of the Valencia province. As result of the study of 88 places, data on distribution and ecology of the Charophyceae in the Valencia province are given. Fifteen taxa have been surveyed. Chara canescens, C. connivens and C. galioides are new provincial records. The main physical-chemical characteristics of water for each species are presented.
