Resumen
A patient convalescing from the second miocardial infarction developed abdominal pains and was operated upon. The cause was found to be obstruction of superior mesenteric artery and embolectomy was performed in order to restablish circulation. The patient recovered completely.

Resumen
Reference to etiological factors which provoke acute arterial accidents: embolism, acute thrombosis, traumatisms and aneurismatic comp!ications is made. The therapeutic procedures for each case is summarized. The authors insist on intraoperatory arteriography as a complement of surgical therapy in each case.The importance of decompressive fasciotomy of ischemic Jimbs is pointed out, as well as the high frequency and treatment of associated deep venous thrombosis, which so often complicates the post-operative evolution.The authors insist that only irreversible ischemic lesion bounds reconstructive surgery, which is by nomeans limited just by a time term he indication of anticoagulants in post-operatory is summarized and the use and indication of fibrinolitics is pointed out.

Resumen
During the course of sepsis due to salmonella colerasis, a primar y infections (mycotic) aneurysm appeared in the left femoral tripod. Surgery, consisting of resection of neurysm and interpositioning of vein between the external iliac and the superficial femoral arteries, failed due to hemorrhage. A successful bypass was then performed with synthetic prothesis from primitive iliac to popliteal vein through an obturating opening.Surgical treatment in this disease is difficult and failure frequent.

Resumen
Brachialgic and cervico-brachialgic disorders are a frequent complaint of our times and consequently this case of supraepitrochlear exostosis with functional manifestations which indicate involvement of median nerve, possibly the first such case to be reported in Uruguay, may prove to be of interest.Exostosis and anomalies in concomitant soft parts, as well as manifestations of median nerve involvement of sensitive type, coincided with findings in ali cases in available bibliography.Treatment followed the rules advocated sincel 1938; postoperotory evolution resulted in the partients functional, biological and morphological recovery.Since supraepitrochlear exostosis may affect not only the median nerve but also other noble structures in the vicinity, surgical treatment is justified.

A patient with hydatid cyst on right lobe of liver suffered from compression of postcava. Post-operatory evolution of surgery performed on cyst ended with the patient's death ten hours later due to acute cardiovascular decompensation.The paper discuses pausible caus of death.
