The authors present an experimental study of the behaviour of deperitonized surfaces sutured, with antiadhesive treatment with Trasylol in dosis of 900.000I.C.U. distributed during the pre, per and postoperatory periods. Results seem to show the efficiency of this therapeutical procedure in reducing adhesionsfrom 55 % in sutured parietal deperitonizations treated with dosis of up to 300.000 I.C.U. of Trasylol applied exclusively intraperitoneally, to a 16.6 % when thcnew procedure is applied.

A) Case material consists of three patients with reno-vascular hypertension, who wese treated by venous graft from the aorta to the renal artery distalto occlusion. Post-operatory evolution !asted between 18 and 14 monts. B) One of the abovementioned cases was due to congenital stenosis, another to fibromuscular hyperplasiaand the third to arteriosclerosis. C) All cases had had long evolution, over 6 years. D) The three patients were studied by post-operatory  arteriography which showed bood functioningof graft.   E) In two cases tension figures became normal; the remaining one showed marked improvement of bypertension but did not reach normal values.F) Pathological and diagnostica! elements on which the surgical treatment as based are discussed. Stress is laid on the interest of such procedurz since it cancure hyperte1sion, especially if performed at a sufficiently early stage.

Sarcomas of soft parts are defined as malignant tumors arising in the tissues between dermis and periosteum and covering the. skeleton of the trunk andlimbs. Generally these neoplasias are mesodermic in origin with the exception of tumors in peripheral nerve sheaths which are of neuroectodermic origin. The multipotential character of mesenchymatose cell determine that these tumors present marked structural complexity, thus making histogenetic diagnosis difficult. On the other hand, no other tumoral origin shows so evidently -the relative character of histological malignancy, and consequently we have found convenient to est.ablish three. degrees (local, regional andgeneral) of malignancy according to morphologic and evolutive characteristics of each tumoral type. We propase a histogenetic classification which comprises ali tumoral forros with their histopathological and biological characteristics; we insist, above ali, in fibroblastic tumors, where discordancy is often found between morphologic and evolutive characteristics. Finally we study a series of 20 cases of sarcomas of soft parts, their frequency and evolution pre and post-treatment. Even though this sample has little significance, incomparing it with Stout's broader series, ( 1953) their was marked similarity in their generalcharacteristics.

Twelve dogs, out 2 series of 6, underwent tho performance of a diaphragmatic opening comprising about 25 % of the left hemidiaphragm, which wasrepaired utilizing grafts of their own skin and aponeurosis of the tensor of the fascia lata. The paper contains the results which indicate that both proc.duresare adequate, though the grafting of skin ressults in more adhesions and inflamatory elements are 1nore numerous.

We present one case of renovascular hypertension reveloped as a consequence of bilateral renal stenosis,so that it can be added to national case material. Treatment consisted of right aortorrenal by-pass ,it was successful.

ibroblastic tumors constitute an important sector within the vast subject of fibromatous proliferations.  They are of special importance in soft parts becauseof their frequency, difficulty and complexity of nosogenic interpretation and of diagnostic and therapeutic problems due to their contradictory morphological characteristicsand, at times, paradoxic biology. De-moid fibromas, fibromatosis, nodular fas.itis and dermic pseudosarcoma are, together with loca!ly -malignant,metastasis- producing orthodox fibrosarcoma, the most significant processes in  this chapter of tumorsof soft parts. These forms have un

Case material consists of three patients with complicated popliteal aneurysms. In two of these there was acute massive intramuscular thrombosis, in thethird there was embolism, distal to the aneurysm. I'hese complications are discussed, with stress of seriousr.ess of disease and on importance of restoring blood flow towards limb by resorting to modern direct vascular surgery techniques.

The author presents a case of intermitent obstruction of subclavian vein and analyzes anatomical factors that trigger it. The anterior scalenous muscle is of importance and the disease should be treated by its resection. Radiological documentation is included.

Malignant mesenchymoma is a low-frequency tumor oi soft parts, generally localized in the muscle, with tenacious local and regional recurrency causing metastasisin 50 % of cases, through the bloodstream. It is predominant in females. Histogenesis is complex and it is admited that they result in multipotentialdifferenciation capacity of primitive mesenchymatic cell in different tissues.

The past and present of miocardial revascularization is considered with special reference to the use of the aortic-coronary bridge with the safena vein. Relativeand absolute Jimitations to the use of venous grafting are revised and the value of the mammary artery for grafting purposes discussed. The technical possibilitiesof mammary-coronary anastomosis are tried in animals and on dead bodies, arriving at the conclusion that it is possible to perform it utilizing the anteriordescendent coronary and the proximal sectors of the right circumflex coronary. Optical magnification was not required for the operation. Special care should be taken in performing a neat suture.
