lhis is a case of spontaneous rupture of esophagus (middle third) only four such cases are recorded in world literature. It is analyzed and those aspects of highest interestare. considered. In therapy of lesion, cronology is of importance since mínimum pleurostomy should be preferred for evolved cases. Possibility of exclusion of esophagusis considered.

Resumen
Paraduodenal herniation is a rare disease and is generally due to malformations which exaggerate or deepen duodenal fossae. It only becomes apparent when a thin loop is strangled in them, as in the case presented _by the authors. Surgery was successful.
