Resumen
Statistics presented by the Surgery Service of the Mercedes Hospital comprise 100 cases of pulmonary hydatidosisover a 10-year period. 'he paper contains an analysis of therapy employed for each anatomo-clinical type, as well as basic surgicalconcepts common to all hydatid cysts of lung. Death-rate ( 1 % ) , morbility and complications with consequent reoperation are studied. These constitute a clear indication of the importance of this disease.

Resumen
Case material consists of two patients suffering from hydatid cyst with heterotopic vesicle in peritoneum: one of them with hyaline content and the other supurated and treated through surgery 23 days after parturition. An insheathment membrane was found coveringthe visceral plane and preventing view of rupture of primitive cyst. No similar Óbservation has been found in national bibliography.

Resumen
The different complications of conservative gynecological surgery are evaluated. Said compllcations are related to disease_ and type oí surgery performed. They can be divided into immediate and mediate. Immediate postsurgical complications comprise infections, hemorrhages, phlebitis and intestinal problems. Their incidence and · prophylaxis are discussed.Mediate complications are those connected with functional future of the organ or. with appearence therein of pathology. Frequency and actual importance of saidaccidents is considered, especially with respect to their weight in deciding on conservative gynecological surgery.

Resumen
In order to reach it goal conservative gynaecological surgery, requires a complete an¡:I detailed preoperatory test which in future can keep the patient free any patological process.Once genital cancer and infection have been discarded, the .anatornical and functional aspects of the patient's genital apparatus should be studied, as wellas her psychic-neuroendocrinal characteristics. Clinical data must be completed with paraclinical tests. Auxiliary tests both have benefits and limitations.Greater accuracy is obtained when the test's results are situated on the same diagnostical line. Nowadays, laparoscopy is the most developed and frequently used gynaecological exam.

Resumen
The author anal:¡,zes conservative ovarían surgery in the majority of gynecological surgery cases, with specíal emphasis on cases of ovarian tumors. Therapyis also indicated. Ovarían functions include prevention of arteriosclerosis and, fundamentally, coronary diseases. The author recommends: -In surgery of benign processes of ttterus, preservation of ovaries if healthy and non atrophíc, regardless ot age. -In surgery of tubes due to fallopian pregnancies, ovaries may be preserved if no other pathology in foundthereín. -In ovarían surgery, emphasis is laid on the importance of residual ovarían pathology following abscission of benign ovarian tumors. Generally speaking incases of ovarían cysts conservative procedures are advisable when the patíent is under 40 years of age; after this, complementary radical surgery should be performedaccompanied by administration of estrogens. The paper includes discussion of the rare cases in which it is possible to act conservatively in the presence of malign ovarían tumors.

The author reviews indications and techniques for·: 1) Maintaining the organ's functions during surgery; 2) Treating disease affecting said functions. Special emphasis is laid on preservation of generating function are specified. The work analyzes systematically tumoral, infectious, traumatic and congenital causes located in the body and cervix of uterus, as well as their treatment both during and in absence of pregnancy. The author's experience on the subject is presented. with special attention on aspects which have heretocorenot been presented in national congresses. The subjects considered are: uterine synechia. congenital malformations and cervical incompetence.
