Resumen
Our case material for arterial occlusions comprises 211 patients and from it we gather that most frequentcauses are thrombosis and embolisms. Treatment for the latter is surgical; in aorto-iliac embolisms, approach should be extraperitoneal. Forgarty's probe is not considered essential. In acute thrombosis initial medical treatment should be followed at an early stage by surgery and tactics should vary according to location of occlusion.

Resumen
Diagnosis of spontaneous, acute, ischemic syndromes of the limbs is studied. Positive diagnosis is based on the presence of threeelements: pain, loss of temperature and changes in colour, added to disappearence of pulses. They are classified according to their intensity intolight, medium and severe. Topographic diagnosis is made by clinical procedures and, eventually, by arteriography. Diagnosis of limb viability is of the greatest interest. At times this may be extremely difficult. The most common ethiologies are listed, with stresson the. frequent difficulty of distinguishing between embolism and acute thrombosis. Arteriography is not always necessary in embolism.Conversely, it should be performed in other types of ischemia in arder to establish the surgical technique to be employed.

Resumen
1) Twenty cases of surgery due to traumatism of a large artery leading to the limbs, are studied. 2) Sixteen of these cases presented associated lesions: osteo-artícular, in soft and nervous parts. 3) Lesion producing mechanisms are analyzed ( a ,;ast majority are due to work accidents) as well as topography of lesions. 4) Identification of surgical cases and operatory opportunity are discussed. 5) Conduct to be followed with respect to arterial lesions is studied, it should tend to re-establish flow procedures employed were venous graft (14 cases);arterial suture (3 cases) or adventicectomy (3 cases) in cases of contusion with arterial spasm. 6) Conduct before osteo-articular lesions in softor associated nervous parts is analyzed. 7) Results are listed, with 16 total restorations, 3 sequella due to associated lesions, 1 amputation dueto distal attrition and no cases of death or thrombosis ín repaired arterial sector.

Resumen
A 66 years-old patient, with such acute epigastric pain that he had to be treated with strong analgesics, was exhaustively studied, but no explanation to hispain was found. It was not possible to perform selective angiography of celiac trunk by reason of highly sinous iliacs and aorta. Nor were profile aortographies, possible. No visceral lesions were found during surgery, but an important fremitus of hepatic artery was discovered. Celiac trunk was liberated at leve! of theaortic ring. Fremitus disappeared during surgery and pain during post-operatory period. The case was classified as Dunbar's syndrome.
