At a global level, an exceptional scenario has arisen in the educational sphere as a result of the health crisis caused by COVID-19 in which Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) play a relevant role. The aim of this paper is to provide an updated overview of the situation of ICT use in Spain and to reflect on how digital inequality is affecting minors, becoming a factor of social exclusion. To this end, a descriptive analysis of the data from the Survey on Equipment and Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Households (INE, 2020) is carried out. The results show that, despite the evolution in the possession and use of electronic devices and the Internet, there are differences depending on variables such as habitat or income

La investigación tuvo como objetivo el determinar la percepción de la atención a tutoría integral que tienen los estudiantes del quinto grado de educación secundaria de la IE 3054 La Flor, Carabayllo porque se requiere mejorar el logro de habilidades de los estudiantes en contextos de la vida cotidiana mediante la tutoría. La metodología usada fue enfoque cuantitativo, nivel descriptivo enfoque cuantitativo, diseño no experimental y transversal. El método de análisis fue el análisis estadístico. Se efectuó la investigación sin conflictos de intereses al cumplirse con el consentimiento informado. La variable de estudio se denominó atención tutorial integral la cual tuvo como dimensiones a la tutoría individual y tutoría grupal. La población estuvo constituida por 350 estudiantes de educación secundaria y se seleccionó la muestra por el método probabilístico y estratificado, conformada por los 185 estudiantes de dicha organización. Entre los principales resultados la tutoría individual en el indicador denominado corporal el 47,54% obtuvo nivel alto mientras en la dimensión tutoría grupal en el indicador denominado dimensión ayuda social obtuvo 56,28% en nivel alto. La principal conclusión se refirió a la percepción de la atención tutorial integral al 48,09% de estudiantes mientras el 6,01% percibieron de manera baja.

From studies carried out in Cienfuegos, there has been weakness in the gender perspective in the sciences related to Information and Communication Technologies, in addition the incorporation of women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics careers is insufficient. Therefore, a project has been designed that has as one of its tasks to identify, from the gender perspective, elements that characterize the academic reality of the teaching of programming at the University of Cienfuegos "Carlos Rafael Rodríguez". The communication reports the results of the quantitative-descriptive research carried out that aimed to describe the academic performance in the subjects related to programming, from a gender perspective, in those enrolled in the 2016-2017 academic year and that culminated in 2022 in the Computer Engineering career, from the answer to the questions: In the first five subjects related to programming, do the results of men show any difference compared to that of women? And what is the result of the analysis of the graduation of women with respect to men at the end of the fifth year of the career? The analysis of documents was used as a fundamental method, as well as statistical descriptors such as percentage and medians. The Mann-Whitney U test revealed that women have a lower academic performance than male students, however, the percentage of graduation of women was higher than men.

The development of orthographic competence, as a singular component of the teaching-learning of spelling, remains fully valid today, since people in a general sense, and adolescents specifically, present countless writing errors from the first school grades to professional level, which affect the communication process. The objective of this article is to disseminate the main findings of the research carried out at the high school level in the Dominican Republic to transform this reality. The research approach was qualitative, from the application of a systematization of experiences of its main author, enriched with other methods of the theoretical and empirical levels. The results showed different regularities based on the analysis of the declared essential categories: teaching-learning of spelling, development of spelling competence and playful approach. The contradiction that exists between the insufficient development of orthographic competence in the students of the selected sample and their perceptions about it was demonstrated. The main scientific result was a methodology with a playful approach for the development of orthographic competence, which is applicable to different contexts, if it is adapted to existing conditions. This methodology considers the existing theoretical references, related to the teaching-learning of spelling, which, it could be determined, did not manage to organically integrate the needs, interests, and motivations of secondary level students.

The objective analysis of the initial and continuous professional training of workers in today's world faces a series of challenges, among others, achieving the availability of graduates who are competent to fulfill the functions inherent to the work object of their profession. The objective of this article is to propose a procedure for the development of professional learning tasks for the training of a competent. A preexperimental quantitative research was carried out, using the methods of document review, observation, analysis, synthesis, hypothetical-deductive, systemic, the pedagogical pre-experiment and the Chi-square statistician (X2). A sample of 30 intermediate technical students in Industrial Mechanics from the municipality of Holguín, Cuba, was used, in which the improvement of learning results as competent workers was demonstrated. The result can be generalized at the national and international level according to the characteristics of the teaching-learning process aimed at the professional training of workers. It concludes by stating that the application of the procedure contributes to improving the quality of professional training (initial or continuous) of competent workers.

The global pandemic and the isolation, social, preventive and mandatory arranged by different government and university estates, which led educational institutions to adapt the curricular activities that were developed in person to the virtual modality using new didactic strategies that required the use of technologies. In this sense, in learning with the virtual modality, the autonomy of the student in learning is important to strengthen their cognitive maturity, in addition to active learning that allows them to form critical thinking, among others. Active Learning is considered as a didactic strategy where the active participation of the student with their learning process is promoted. Therefore, this work presents an innovative strategy of the application of Active Learning as a learning strategy in a higher education context, with a view to contributing to the professional training of students who are studying a degree course in a virtual / remote, way through the application of new didactic strategies in the face of the impossibility of implementing face-to-face activities. The results show that the didactic strategy applied was highly positive.

The sociocultural competence is a feasible topic due to its importance in the development of the communicative competence. The research was characterized for being a pedagogical professional approach. The objective of this article was to determine the causes of the insufficient development of the sociocultural competence in Foreign Language teacher trainees limiting the pedagogical performance, so as the establishment of the solution throughout an interventive strategy. In this study, the main categories taken into account are the sociocultural competence and the didactic-sociocultural competence. The research methods used were the following: participant observation, interviews, surveys, pedagogical test and study of the activity products. These methods correspond to the participatory action research methodology of the qualitative paradigm. As a fundamental result of the investigation, the following causes were determined that allowed the origins of the difficulties of the teacher trainees related to the topic that is researched are shown and the corresponding actions for the interventive strategy, which main theoretical base is the didactic-sociocultural competence. In the same way, it is concluded the feasible truth of the previously established theoretical limitation.

The educational tasks of postgrad are located in the epicenter of the formative processes that you/they take place in that educational level. The development of methodological aspects, linked to its employment for the treatment to the contents of prevention of professional illnesses, constitutes a demand verified in the bibliographical revision and in the educational practice. With the result that the present study, assume the objective of elaborating some methodological considerations for the employment of educational tasks of postgrad centered in prevention of professional illnesses. From a dialectical-materialistic positioning, they were applied during the investigation theoretical methods as the analysis and synthesis, the historical-logical one, the systematizing and the modulation; in the empiric level the revision of documents was used in function of the reports of precedent investigations and of the juridical dispositions that regulate essential aspects linked to the topic. He/she also conformed to, a focal group to obtain approaches valorative on the relevancy of the methodological considerations. As part of the result, they are necessary procedural aspects associated to the treatment of the contents of prevention of professional illnesses in the educational tasks of postgrad, among them those of systematizing, administration of the knowledge, acting, innovation and communication. In conclusive terms it is informed that the methodological considerations for the employment of educational tasks of postgrads centered in prevention of professional illnesses, conform a sequence of interdisciplinary procedural approaches of high relevancy, according to results of the focal group, being evidenced the execution of the proposed objective.

The formation of psycho-pedagogical counseling as a competence in the initial training of the Pedagogy-Psychology professional constitutes a social need, inasmuch as it surpasses the formation of this as a skill or mode of action. It is conceived from and for professional performance, as a concretion of what the professional intervention knows and needs, in a process from dependence to independence in practice. In this sense, the objective of this article is to socialize a pedagogical strategy for the formation of the psycho-pedagogical counseling competence from the internalization of its constitutive elements, its externalization in practice and the evaluative reflection of what it needed, applied and needs to transform in the formation for its efficiency. The scientific research methods used: analysis-synthesis, inductive-deductive and modeling; all of them of theoretical character and document analysis, observation, survey and specialists' criteria; of empirical character; demonstrated the scientific value, viability and feasibility of the strategy. The strategy, as a novel element, shows the new understanding of the formation of psycho-pedagogical counseling as a competence of the Pedagogy-Psychology professional in initial training and its contribution to reach agile professionals, prepared for change, useful in the management and solution of the conflicts that derive from it in the basic labor entities. It favors the awareness of the actions in the formation of the psycho-pedagogical counseling competence and stimulates the transit to higher stages.

This descriptive bibliographic review addresses experiences of the benefits, risks, scope and limitations in the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) during social isolation. The objective was to identify the most valuable guidelines for the proper use of Information and Communication Technologies from formal and informal education during the confinement by COVID-19. The methods used were analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, adapted prism method, generalization-abstraction, hermeneutic and argumentative epistemic systematization. As a result, 90 bibliographic inputs were found, 70 articles from scientific databases and 20 from institutional portals. Therefore, it is verified that the proper use of Information and Communication Technologies contributes to an optimal comprehensive education.
