Resumen
D. Alexandre Nascimento (1925-), Bishop of Malanje (1975), Metropolitan Archbishop of Lubango (1977), Cardinal (1983), Archbishop of Luanda (1986-2001), is analyzed in the double perspective of understanding the dynamics of the relations between the State and the Catholic Church in the colonial period, the transition to independence and the first years of independence, as well as the agency of a personality involved in the transformation of these relations. Witness of his time, D. Alexandre Nascimento was also a religious and social agent, gener Catholic Church and the political power, between the Catholic hierarchy and the priests most identified with the revolutionary vanguard, which other elements of the episcopate do not have. In the early years of indepally discreet, whose action, of contours still little studied, is addressed in this article. His sympathy for Angolan nationalism formed in the late 1950s, arises from the awareness of the social injustices of Portuguese colonialism and leads him to establish contacts with Angolan nationalists, and with Portuguese Catholic opponents to the Estado Novo, during the period of exile in the metropolis, between 1961 and 1970. His image as a critic of Portuguese colonialism gives him recognition among Angolan nationalists that allows him, during the period of transition to independence, to have a margin of maneuver to establish mediations between theendence, he asserted himself as a defender of the institutional autonomy of the Catholic Church and human rights in Angola.

Resumen
The text reflects on the positions held by various social, university and political sectors, as well as by young people, religious congregations, and Catholic bishops in the face of the 1968 student movement in Mexico. The government of the time asserted that the student mobilization was in response to an international Marxist and communist plot, that wished to destabilize Mexico in the context of the celebration of the XIX Olympiad in the country. The Mexican bishops of the time, apart from the bishop of Cuernavaca, Sergio Méndez Arceo, accepted this interpretation and remained silent about the events. The lack of episcopal solidarity affected the Catholic faith.

Resumen
The main objective of this article is to recover the memory of Maria de São José (Lopes Lobo), barefoot Carmelite born in Setubal and professed in the convent of Saint Albert (Lisbon), author of a spiritual autobiography written by order of one of her confessors and published fragmentarily by Belchior de Santa Ana in 1657.

The properties of nanomaterials and nanoparticles, such as mechanical, chemical, thermal, optical, electrical, and biological make their application possible in the industry: medicine, cosmetics, automotive, personal hygiene, electronics, agriculture, and environment, among others. For more than two decades, nanotechnology has been considered a breakthrough technology for the agricultural area. Research on these materials has shown the potential of nanometric materials as biostimulants of plants’ growth and morphological and biochemical characteristics. In addition, nanoproducts can be developed to control pests, diseases, and weeds, among others, with the combined action of nanomaterials and plant metabolites, providing benefits for agriculture. With the information gathered, it has been shown that the controversial effects of nanotechnology applied to agriculture continue to be investigated. Still, in the coming years, with the emergence of new tools, new methodologies, and multidisciplinary work, future research will show evidence in the trophic chain and possibly palpable effects on the human body.
