Resumen
Global economic instability, digital disruption and saturated labor markets have led to underemployment among professionals. The objective is to know the trajectories and the labor identity of Chilean professionals who work in underemployment conditions. The qualitative methodology was obtained through in-depth interviews with 15 professionals. The data was processed by the Atlas ti 7 software and the hermeneutic type analysis was applied. The results show that a labor identity is configured not centered on the particular profession, but on “being professional” as a symbol of integration and social prestige. The labor identity as underemployed professionals accounts for a functional and pragmatic identity. Underemployment is assumed from a critical discourse at a social, economic and political level, but in practice it is overcome through individual strategies and costs.

Resumen
The government of Felipe Calderón in Mexico is remembered for the crisis of violence unleashed by the “war” against organized crime and the systematic criminalization of victims. Led by the poet Javier Sicilia –the father of a young man who was murdered– the Peace with Justice and Dignity Movement emerged in 2011, becoming a collective actor of national and international significance that opposed the official discourse, calling for an end to the “war”. Through in-depth interviews, this article focuses on understanding the dynamics of recruitment into the MPJD. Although the theory highlights the role of networks in recruiting activists, the findings question their role among non-politicized people.

Resumen
The field of studies on criminal groups has set aside the analysis of the emergence of the criminal phenomenon from the point of view of its communicative infrastructure. In particular, a systemic analysis of criminality has been dismissed. The article faces with the question: how to understand the criminal phenomenon from the point of view of social systems theory? Based on empirical research, the paper proposes to analyze the criminal order and its multiple functional performances.

Resumen
Based on the 2020 Mexican Population Census, we analyzed the school insertion of recent child migrants from the United States and the Northern Triangle of Central America and their associated factors. To this end, descriptive statistics and multinomial logistic regression models were used. Both types of international migrants have higher school absenteeism and grade repetition rates than non-migrants, with those for Central American migrants being much higher than for those from the United States. The low economic status and parental schooling of Central Americans, as well as the absence of parents in the home among both Central American and US migrants constitute risk factors for school dropout and discontinuity.

Resumen
The book review of the book El movimiento zapatista y la transición democrática en México: Oportunidades para la movilización, el éxito y la supervivencia (Inclán, 2021) is presented, which deals with the analysis of the structure of political opportunities for the insurgent indigenous movement based in the state of Chiapas, and how the closing of opportunities occurred to obtain the success of the political demands referred to the constitutional reform in terms of indigenous rights and culture. From the conclusion that points to the closing of political opportunities and the tendency of the movement towards the transnational solidarity network, new lines of research and questions that the text opens are visualized.

Resumen
Ver sin ser visto. Centros clandestinos de detención en Argentina como dispositivos panópticos (1976-1983) offers an analysis of 3 clandestine detention centers that, in the context of the cold war, operated in Argentina: Automotores Orletti, la Escuela de Mecánica de la Armada, y y el Departamento de Informaciones de la Policía de Córdova .
The idea that served to tense this investigation and that is summarized in the title: Ver sin ser visto, with the idea of the panopticon, by Bentham, seems to me that it does not work to analyze clandestine detention centers. And, in vain, the author, when she analyzes the relationship between the architectural design of the clandestine centers in question and the panopticon, she tries to force this relationship.

Resumen
This paper aims to point out the urgent need to analyze the complex landscape of political events of our present from the toolbox provided by the methodology of critical sociology of Pierre Bourdieu. For this, it is necessary to carry out a genealogy focused on the role that the neoliberal revolution has had as it was thought by Bourdieu. This study of neoliberalism finds in the presence of social domination and the cultural dispossession to which the dominated are subjected, the way from which to explain a set of historical drifts that have led to the success of politicians such as Donald Trump, Boris Johnson or Jair Bolsonaro.

Resumen
This article examines the institutional construction of the Fundación para la Educación Superior y el Desarrollo (Fedesarrollo) in Colombia in the 1970s. This case study allows for the analytical review of how the U.S. think tank model was adopted by the Colombian academic center and how the Ford Foundation played a fundamental role in exporting this type of institution to the country with its technical and financial support in line with the “Brookings model”. With respect to the methodology, semi-structured interviews as well as internal documents from Fedesarrollo and the Ford Foundation were utilized. It is concluded that this Colombian academic center assumed the typical functions of a U.S. think tank.

Resumen
The article explores the relationship between that Catholic networks and one of the first sociology professional programs in Colombia. The configuration of a specific sociological perspective is studied with emphasis on the ideological bases of the Cold War. This perspective explains the religious authorities support for the initial development of the discipline. However, as sociology strengthened itself as a relatively autonomous space, a chasm opened up between these authorities and the body of teachers, researchers and students. With the deep politicization of these sectors in Latin America, the initial orientation of sociology was modified. It also changed the perception around it generated among those who had most promoted it from the some institutions.

Resumen
This article explores characteristic ways of living in young, urban, middle-class sectors. After a survey, twenty-seven in-depth interviews and a review of 4.000 profiles on social networks and dating apps, our hypothesis is that the pet family is a subjectivation device linking affective, economic, environmental, and architectural practices involving the prioritization of friendship, changing partners, ambivalence towards maternity/paternity and living in small apartments. It also implies an ontological relocation of the pet, from helper/guardian to relative/roommate/intimate friend. We also propose the notion of the eco-family as a subjectivation device that incorporates ecological habits into ways of life. These ways of living together go beyond the concept of family, showing what the current norm is.
