Introducción: La enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica tiene una prevalencia de 10.2% en la población mundial de 40 a 80 años, pero algunos reportes señalan prevalencias del 15.0% y 20.6%. Esta enfermedad genera importantes costos para el sistema sanitario, principalmente relacionados con los estadios moderados, graves, las exacerbaciones y las complicaciones que conllevan. Objetivo: Se describió el panorama económico de la atención de salud del paciente con Enfermedad Pulmonar Obstructiva Crónica en diferentes países del mundo. Método: Se realizó una revisión narrativa a partir de la búsqueda de información en las bases de datos Biomed Central, Wiley Online Library, Pubmed, Scielo Regional, Scielo Cuba y Elsevier, utilizando las palabras claves: enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica, costos directos, costos indirectos, evaluación económica, atención de salud; fueron revisados varios artículos de donde se eligieron los estudios más significativos con relación al tema a tratar y que se referenciaron en este artículo.Resultados: La mayor proporción corresponde a los costos directos derivados de las exacerbaciones de la enfermedad (particularmente ingresos hospitalarios) y a los costos indirectos vinculados a la discapacidad de los pacientes propia de los estadios más avanzados de la misma. Conclusiones: La enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica generó costos muy altos para los sistemas de salud. Minimizar las exacerbaciones de la enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica, controlar el empeoramiento de los síntomas y hacer prevención tabáquica, así como controlar otros factores ambientales, pudiera reducir potencialmente el costo del tratamiento en cualquier fase de la enfermedad.

Introducción: En el año 2021 y como estrategia de apoyo al trabajo del médico y la enfermera de la familia se crearon los equipos de evaluación integral para los pacientes con COVID-19 en ingreso domiciliar.Objetivo. Describir los resultados del equipo de evaluación integral en el área de salud Raúl Gómez garcía, entre agosto y octubre del 2021Método: Estudio descriptivo de variables personales y clínicas de los casos vistos y de la conducta médica del equipo de evaluación integralResultados: En los casos evaluados hubo un predominio del sexo femenino.Las comorbilidades más frecuentes fueron la Hipertensión arterial, la obesidad y la cardiopatia izquémica con el 36,2, 33,3 y 30 % mientras que el diagnóstico más observado fue la neumopatia inflamatoria en el 49 %.El 87,2 % de pacientes tuvieron saturación de oxigeno por encima de 95 % y frecuencia respiratoria entre 21 y 24 respiraciones por minuto, parámetros que unido a la valoración de su cuadro clínico permitieron su tratamiento y seguimiento en la comunidad.Conclusiones:El equipo de evaluación integral brindó atención,tratamiento y seguimiento a 174 casos evitando que evolucionaran hacia la gravedad y la muerte sin necesidad de remitir a nivel hospitalar.Sus resultados en la práctica muestran que es una alternativa de apoyo a la APS en situaciones epidémicas donde se rebasa la capacidad de respuesta del equipo básico de salud y se requiere disponer de camas hospitalarios para otros casos.

The problem of water in Mexico is dealt with in a transversal way from the evocations of the mural El agua, origen de la vida, by the painter Diego Rivera. The work, which is located in Chapultepec, is unique, as it was painted at the end of the Lerma system, where the Cárcamo de Dolores, in charge of distributing the resource, is located. The engineering project was essential to supply water to the metropolis in the center of the country, which currently suffers from shortages. Due to the location of the mural, a certain emphasis is placed on the metropolitan area of the Valley of Mexico. The objectives of this text are to portray the various aspects of drought and inequalities around water and to argue how a work of art and its context can influence our reflections and future actions to propose solutions to this social problem.

Of all the feelings that the human heart harbors, I consider that nostalgia is both unstable and prolific material, the creator works from his memory, always inaccurate and intimate. So, for the artist there are two obvious approaches when it comes to memories, ranging from sadness or happiness. In the particular case of Nayeli Guadalupe Gómez Martínez, her graphic work is luminous, the choice of colors and figures that recall childhood freedom. There is an almost untidy ease in his strokes that brings sweetness to his proposal. His watercolors allow us to escape for a moment from the harsh adult reality and he manages to immerse us in a simple world, where innocence can be recovered. The idyllic settings, the childish and imaginary characters of those carefree times of our childhood. The artist promotes the healing of emotional wounds and to rebuild ourselves through the aesthetic experience.

The publishing success of The Line Becomes a River (2018), by Mexican-American author and former Border Patrol agent Francisco Cantú, is supported by criticism and the liberal status of the literary market. This article analyzes the ethical and aesthetic considerations involved in writing about the politicized space of the border that separates Mexico and the United States, a liminal territory marked by the structural and historical violence that surrounds the experience of crossing, always starting from ethical and morals of the one who narrates from privilege, hierarchy and belonging to a disciplinary system that justifies, allows and reproduces racism and xenophobia.      

It delves into the main characteristics of the story “El policía de las ratas”, by Roberto Bolaño, which addresses the animal theme from the detective genre. From the author's perspective on the infralife of sewer rats, these voiceless and politically minority animals are vindicated. The distribution of the sensible in Bolaño, the personization of the characters and the exploration of certain landscapes of the city place the text in a 'between' where the society of the sewers and the human come together. The article intends to describe this discursive relationship based on Jacques Rancière’s theses on the politics of literature; by Roberto Esposito about the notions of person, non-person and thing in the book Las personas y las cosas (2016); and Gabriel Giorgi around the body, the corpse and the community in Common Forms. Animality, culture, biopolitics (2014).

Pissicelli anhela encontrar la paz en su vida, pero su búsqueda se ve repentinamente interrumpida al cruzarse con Espinosa, una persona con la que establece una conexión poco común. En medio de este vínculo inusual, se sumerge en el amor, esto lo maravilla y colma de esperanzas. Sin embargo, a medida que avanza la historia, la tensión emocional se hace presente, acompañada de la intuición de nuevos caminos que se abren ante ellos. Los obstáculos y el orgullo ponen a prueba su relación, conduciéndolos por senderos inciertos y desafiando la solidez de su vínculo.

Adult education is a necessary structure to respond to some of the great challenges that must be faced in these times of crisis. Despite these, adult education centres are the great unknown of our educational system. Therefore, this research aims to describe and understand the teaching work carried out in their secondary education classrooms. Given the qualitative nature of our research, a collective study of ethnographic cases was chosen during a stay in the field for two years. Empirical evidence was collected through participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The results of the research describe the peculiar performance of a secondary classroom for adults and the specificity of the teaching tasks that are developed there. In the light of these results, we point out the need to raise knowledge in teacher training that address the uniqueness of this educational modality in a world where there are still 750 million illiterate people (UNESCO, 2019), high rates of early school leaving in western societies, aging progressive population, new training challenges associated with the digitization of life and a health and climate emergency that requires new ways of being in the world.
