Resumen
This article analyzes a university experience regarding the use of podcasts as an educational communication strategy in a film appreciation course. It also presents a guiding framework that facilitates the use of this digital resource to enhance teaching-learning processes related to educational communication, film, and audiovisual media. The methodology employed follows a qualitative approach, based on the participant and experiential observation of the professor in charge of the subject, through the systematization of his or her own practice, by means of an auto-ethnographic exercise, complemented by the review and analysis of the productions (podcasts), using an evaluation instrument validated by experts. The main results show, through the analysis of six categories, that podcasts are a pertinent educational communication resource, capable of energizing teaching proposals and making them innovative both inside and outside the classroom. The experience reaffirms educommunication as a discipline and a significant space for praxis, offering tools not only for the instrumental use of ICTs but also for students' critical reflection on the media. Finally, it is emphasized that the experience can be replicated in other contexts, under the recommendation of following the same proposed design and procedures.

Resumen
The text of Casado Velarde "Language and Culture" (1991), analyzes the interrelation of Language and Culture in the different currents, which have dealt with the study of modern linguistics. His reading reminded me of Don Beny, a fisherman from the marshes of Ayapel who confronted me with a simple question while filming a sunset for an ecological documentary. Sometime later, this simple and exemplary man helps me to understand the dichotomy and blind spots (Bedoya, 2016) of the dualist and rationalist approach of the dominant thought in the West, which could somehow show its emptiness, for the observation and understanding of other forms possible to see and understand the world through language.

However, this personalization is based on algorithms rather than genuine emotional understanding, raising questions about the authenticity of the educational experience. Data automation allows educators to focus on creative and strategic tasks, streamlining processes and providing feedback on student progress. While AI offers opportunities to enhance educational intervention and foster creativity, it also presents ethical challenges. Resumen
The purpose of this article is to expose the relationship between the compositional elements that characterize the plastic arts and the visual grammar inherent to the field of graphic design, in the creation of persuasive and innovative graphic pieces since visual expression and effective communication come together to respond to the needs of the contemporary environment. Thus, from immersion in the collective imagination of the designer, an application guide was proposed and made that showed the importance of exploring art from the perspective of the elements of the image, with the purpose of using them as visual grammar in the compositions. graphics, thus generating a pedagogical tool that leads to redefining and expanding the horizon of creation.

Resumen
Gamer identity has emerged from the normalization of video games and their consumption as part of the daily life of audiences around the world, and recently there has been a more pronounced academic interest in its study. This article is a bibliometric analysis of the academic work about gamer identity found in the Scopus database and aims to be a starting point to knowing the most common thematic and theoretical approaches to study the phenomenon. Aided by search refinement and the R Studio tool Bibliometrix, the findings are: a prevalence of qualitative techniques, a focus on young populations, a lack of research on Latin American populations, gender as a common theoretical framework, a pronounced interest in online gaming, and a Western-American epistemic monopolization. Although results correspond to a single database, they serve to detect the most common trends and thus encourage the use of novel approaches to nuance the phenomenon.

Resumen
The educational process meets quality standards where the use of information and communication technologies (ITC) and methodological strategies for teaching are essential due to the accelerated development of society. The general objective of the research Information and communication technologies in the teaching process of Natural Sciences in Basic General Education was to propose a teaching unit on living beings, for the subject of Natural Sciences, using methodological strategies and technological tools, in the fourth year of Basic General Education (EGB) of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús Fiscomisional Educational Unit of the city of Tulcán, during the 2022-2023 school year. The research methodology was based on the mixed approach and descriptive scope to address the fact of research interest and obtain information during the three stages of the research reflected in the specific objectives. In the first phase, the use of information and communication technologies, in the teachers' didactic planning, through content analysis was identified. In the second phase, the perception of teachers about the use of ICT was analyzed through an interview, to finally develop the didactic unit on living beings, for teaching Natural Sciences, using methodological strategies and technological tools. Data was validated with the use of SPSS as a statistical tool for the analysis. The results detected the scarce use of methodological strategies and ICT in the teaching of Natural Sciences in the fourth year of Basic General Education, the lack of connectivity and the routine and monotonous character of classes; for these reasons, phase three reveals the proposal that includes activities with innovative, novel and interesting practices to generate significant learning in students.

Resumen
The improvement of the reading process and acquisition continue to be a priority, therefore the study presented evaluated the effectiveness of the implementation of a virtual classroom on the Moodle platform as support for the acquisition of reading comprehension in children with learning difficulties, for which a virtual environment based on the DUA methodology (universal learning design) and didactic strategies with gamification was proposed , applicable for children in the stage of concrete operations who attend the La Rayuela Psychopedagogical Center, in Quito. The research responded to the case study, with a mixed, descriptive, quasi-experimental approach, using a control group made up of 8 students. The WISC V intelligence scale and ACL reading comprehension tests were applied before and after the intervention with a duration of 8 weeks, obtaining quantitative statistical data, along with observations and qualitative anecdotal records. The results regarding the progress of reading comprehension learning applied to the control group were significant, demonstrating the need to integrate digital platforms, and gamification in psychopedagogical intervention techniques to improve psychoeducational processes, especially in students with specific learning difficulties. The importance of innovation was emphasized in terms of resources and supports that can be implemented for intervention by trained personnel such as educational psychologists and/or educational psychologists for their appropriate and responsible use.

Resumen
The difficulty in learning of the Automotive Electrical and Electronic Systems training module by the students from the Third Technical Baccalaureate in Automotive Electromechanics, leads to the present research has as the aim to implement the use of Augmented Reality (AR) in the process of teaching. The applied research was documental, field, and quasi-experimental type, with a mixed approach. A pre-test was engaged to 38 students from two parallels of the General Julio Andrade Educational Unit, located in the province of Carchi (Ecuador), to identify the prior knowledge, and a post-test after of using AR to know the level of acquired learning. With the development of the established proposal, an improvement in academic performance was evident, and it was reflected on the obtained result in the post-test in the students of parallel B with an average of 8,50/10 points, unlike the score from the parallel A, in which the traditional methodology was applied, and 7,78/10 points were gained. As a conclusion, the application of the technological tool of AR is feasible and generates in the students a high interest of learning in the aforementioned module.

Resumen
Learning Physics in the first semesters of university usually brings difficulties for students. Factors such as: lack of motivation, complexity of physical concepts and lack of effective training resources make learning a confusing process that is difficult to assimilate in its entirety. The use of educational material in Android applications has helped in different areas of study, however, the accessibility of applications in the area of Physics does not help the student in their learning to improve their academic performance. Based on this, the study aims to contribute with the use of an Android application that allows improving the performance of students in the subject of Physics. To find the needs of the students in the subject of Physics, information was collected through the use of surveys, in this way important parameters were established that determine the form and content of the Android application. The development of the application was carried out through a free-to-use platform, and it was shared with a group of students to evaluate performance when performing exercises and tasks using the supporting content provided by the application, which is made up of: text, images and calculation tools. When working with the application, students rated the practicality of the material as a help to understand and apply difficult content more easily.
