Resumen
With a long-term perspective, making use of the micro-territorial extrapolation of the macro-territorial dynamics and relying on diverse documentary sources, the history of the place of El Calabacino (Alájar, Huelva) is traced, beginning from its conformation as a medieval village (C14-15), as result of the Christian repopulation; through the consolidation of the settlement, (C16-17); continuing by its boom driven by muleteers, trade and smuggling (C18-19); continuing for its decline and abandonment due to the rural exodus (1900-1979); until reaching its rebirth derived from the establishment in it of a neo-rural community (1979), reconverted into an alternative ecovillage (2017). The objective of it is to put in historical perspective the usefulness of the establishment of ecovillages as strategy to face the emptied Spain.

Resumen
Some allegations are studied along this study. They deal with rape and kidnapping in the 17th century in Aragón. Aragón’s legislation described them as atrocious crimes. The Ordinary Court’s appeals to the sentence are submitted to a higher instance, the Criminal Chamber of the ‘Audiencia’ of the Kingdom. The criminal proceedings and matters considered to be crimes of difficult proof can be mended with these documents.
These allegations were mostly written for the benefit of the presumed criminal—men. Nevertheless, they are important for women. They show that the complaint for these crimes proceeded from the astricted attorney (as it was named the local prosecutor acting ex officio). He achieved these crimes not to go unpunished due to the maidens’ weakness.

Likewise, it is investigated about the laws that prohibited other sexual crimes that entailed infidelity between the spouses, for which it is also analyzed the bigamy and concubinage between married women and men, along with prostitution by married women. It is emphasized a greater impunity for unfaithful men and the punishment of adulterous women by justice.

Resumen
This study offers the essayist P. G. Patmore’s view of Romanticism through the parody of literary reviews in Rejected Articles (1826), an essential work for understanding a Romanticism that ran parallel to the more traditional canon. Starting with a contextual introduction of the author and his work, it methodologically focuses on the discussion of the nature and parodic strategies of the work. The result provides a better understanding of the development of Romantic literary criticism of his time, and an unconventional view of Romanticism in terms of the publication processes of the time. It also provides an indirect and original portrayal of stereotypes of relevant Romantic writers at the mercy of the publishing market, demonstrating in that way the need to retrieve the critical and literary value of Patmore’s work.

Resumen
In this work we analyze sources of the Ecclesiastical Court of Braga allowing us to know the feminine dynamics in this institution of the Catholic Church throughout the seventeenth century. For further clarification, we divided the processes analyzed into two groups: one referring to processes brought against women who lived in confinement and another for non-compliance with the vow of Santiago. We are, therefore, facing different women and also different causes. All were accused of non-compliance, in the first case violating laws important to the institution and the nuns and in the second due to non-payment of the vow of Santiago. In this journey it was possible to know the functioning of the institution and the changes it has undergone, but also penalties assigned

Resumen
In this work, we seek to analyze the relationship between women and crime, based on two crimes that, in the 19th century and even in the first decades of the 20th century, were considered typically female: abortion and infanticide. These are two crimes whose study is made difficult by the secrecy that generally involved them and the stigma that fell on those involved in their commission. from Portugal. For this purpose, we used judicial sources, criminal statistics organized by the administrative authorities, as well as medical studies, in which we tried to explain the occurrence of these crimes and their association with the female gender.

Resumen
We know the law of the Twelve Tables by means of the references we have received from the classic writers what lived several centuries later. The result is a incomplete or partial reconstruction, plenty of conjectures and unintelligible and non resolute questions, as we watch about the judicial fate of the insolvent debtor. The roughness and severity of this norm generated a vast controversy between the members of intelectual class since de ancient Rome to tye present time, where we know the most imaginative interpretations. In this paper, we analize the facts and its meaning along the historical evolution till present time, in order to show some conclusions.
