Abstract In 1953, DNA molecule structure was found, and the enigma of life was deciphered as a set of information codes of biochemical data; thenceforth the human being has been represented as an input and output information system and, it has been set a discourse that place the cyborg as an image that emphasize the opposition between technology and the living organism. This thesis will develop the idea that virtualization of the human body —it means that the materiality of body becomes virtual when its biological and organic condition is taken to the universe of information codes— consequently it is treating as a living computer system. The phenomenon of body hacking will be explored as a post and transhuman movement, to wonder about the processes of daily interaction between human beings and computer entities.

In this text, I develop three categories or polyphasic stages of being, that account for the synthetic ontology understood as the timeless juxtaposition of diverse scopes of being at different moments of the use of technology in the history of humanity, in the conformation of techno-capitalism and philosophical thought. I call these stages mecanólogo, technólogo, and organólogo. For this, I develop a methodology that allows me to cross various aspects of analysis and exemplify in our context each one of these polyphasic stages of being, starting mainly from the notion of individuation of Simondon.

From the perspective of behavioral economics, nudge, as a psychological mechanism, is a potential tool in public policy making, as it has been widely recognized for its success in recent interventions due to its low implementation cost. In this sense, this article analyzed the potential use of nudge in public policies in certain situations. To this end, a systematic literature review on behavioral economics was carried out. The results allowed us to identify the potential use of nudge in public policy with respect to predetermined decisions, protection against unsolicited purchases and automatic renewal contracts. In conclusion, the use of nudge in public policy making would allow governments that apply it to ensure the effectiveness of their interventions and improve the level of citizen approval.

The article examines a pedagogical experience that became a theoretical and analytical methodological inquiry. Although the starting point was the texts presented in an arbitrary series (that of the letter B), this principle (this restriction) was soon extended to the musical corpus of the twentieth century. The work plan, which we called «Archival good», aimed to find in a limited space of experimentation the fundamental lines of art (and aesthetic politics) of the 20th century.

Historically, secular humanism has been in conflict with religious thought in the academic and social spheres. This article supports the thesis that in modern times pseudosciences and pseudoscientific thinking are a threat to the humanist project, comparable to religious fundamentalism. To prove it, the concept of Secular Humanism and how it is threatened by religious fundamentalism is explained. This is followed by the definition of what pseudosciences are and what pseudoscientific thinking is. Subsequently, the way how pseudosciences threaten the secular humanist project is described. The conclusion states that pseudoscientific thought and religious fundamentalism are equally dangerous for social coexistence.

Introduction: In many applications, one or many decision makers optimize several objective functions. Three important paradigms that describe these situations are bi-level problems, in which the best option depends on the decision that other agents make simultaneously or not; multiobjective problems with variable order, that is, a decision maker has several combined optimality criteria and the comparison between 2 points is given by a cone that is, in general, non-constant, and set-valued optimization problems, which correspond to the case in which the function values are sets. In this work we present new characterizations of the solutions to these problems and propose algorithms to find these points. Methods: Mathematical demonstrations, numerical experimentation. Results and discussion: For the problem of multiple disjoint leaders and followers a characterization of the solutions in the generic case was provided. An inexact projected gradient algorithm for multiobjective problems with variable order was proposed and its convergence was studied. A way of generating test problems for multiobjective models with variable order was obtained. Characterization of the solutions of set-operation optimization problems via a Fermat-type rule. A steepest descent algorithm for set-test optimization problems was proposed and its convergence was studied. Estimation of the Clarke subdifferential for marginal functions. It is concluded that the obtained characterizations of the solutions of the problems improve the results of the literature. This better knowledge of the structure of the solution set is very helpful also for an algorithmic viewpoint. The algorithms already proposed have yielded results that in many cases are better than those of the literature. Indeed, they computed well using fewer operations. Their convergence was also theoretically analyzed. It shall be remarked that not very restrictive hypotheses were needed.

Introduction. The need to improve current curricula in both undergraduate and graduate programs is a recurring theme in educational research in medical education. The objective of the research was to contribute through a strategy to the improvement of the training and improvement of professionals linked to clinical laboratory diagnosis, in Camagüey. Methods. A retrospective longitudinal study was carried out in the period from January 2013 to June 2021 at the University of Medical Sciences of Camagüey. Within the empirical methods, participant observation, questionnaires, interviews, critical reflection workshops, socialization workshops, methods and procedures of descriptive and inferential statistics and pedagogical pre-experiment. Results. A strategy for the professional improvement of the health technologist in the clinical laboratory, implementation and evaluation of the impact of the Laboratory Sciences diploma course; design and implementation of postgraduate courses; implementation of subjects of the own and optional curriculum, the application of teaching materials and implementation of a quality management system. As some conclusions it contributes to the improvement of the training and improvement of professionals linked to clinical analysis, which is demonstrated in the improvement of the performance of students in training and graduates, who have the implementation of a postgraduate improvement system. and the improvement of the organizational climate with a quality management system and good clinical laboratory practices.

Introduction: There is information on the impact of pandemics on demographic dynamics. Contributing to policies to combat COVID-19 is a priority for the social sciences. Objective: Analyze the state of the variables mortality, migration, fertility and communication about population in the scenario of COVID-19 in Cuba. Methods: The main method is Demographic Analysis and Content Analysis. The fundamental sources of information come from different national information systems and bibliographic documents. Results: There are variations in the order of causes of death, and it seems that the existence of the same risk pattern of dying from Covid19 for all ages does not differ from the normal risk of mortality in general. Emigration represents a complexity factor during the health crisis caused by COVID-19, for the design of a policy of closure or control of international borders. Havana presents a complex situation due to its characteristics as the capital of the country. In Cuba, the downward trend in fertility continues, with a slow decrease in relation to the change in 2019. Adolescent fertility decreases in relation to previous years, but with a change that still expresses the resistance to decline of this indicator. Focusing on the construction of risk perception should be a priority in communication about population. Conclusions: the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on demographic dynamics and it´s expression in mortality, migration and fertility are inevitable. The year 2020 and part of 2021 show the response of these variables, considering that it´s mediated by a reality that precedes the pandemic period. Communication about the population becomes an important element to be incorporated, from the study of composition and dynamics to purposeful views.
